Sidney at Willoughby Run Gettysburg Reviews
First time visit. Food was excellent. First time trying duck and it was so good. My wife's first time trying ahi tuna and she loved it. Wait staff was very nice and patient. We will definitely be back again.
Excellent food. We were very pleased.
Great place. Nice food and service. Quality food and Nice facility.
Amazing Food
We were well taken care of and the food was outstanding! We went with a big family group to celebrate and had an awesome experience.
Always exceptional dishes and cocktails. Thursdays now have the wonderful music of the Pamona's Trio.
A very unexpected diamond in the rough. The food was wonderful and the staff extremely pleasant. Would definitely return if I were local.
Tiny but great service and top notch food. The best thing I have eaten in a while. Seems weird they have so few tables.
Great food. Excellent service. Came as part of a group. Would come back here anytime.
Very classy high priced , but I was a guest of the group paying. I chose the salmon which was out of this world delicious
Chef Neil never disappoints.... he is a true artist.... decadently delicious!
The staff is awesome, food was well presented and phenomenal to the palate.

Much exquisite food, and a beautiful and peaceful setting. Expensive.
Great service and awesome food. I could not get enough of the mash potatoes

Excellent!
Everything about our dinner experience here was excellent! The food was fantastic and service was friendly and prompt. The outdoor dining environment was exactly what we were looking for. We kept commenting that someone in the kitchen really knows what they are doing! We would definitely be back if we lived near this restaurant.
Honestly it's a little bit pricey, but I think it's well worth it, and the portions are filling. I love coming here. The service is always very pleasant. The food is always fantastic (I am in love with the pâté). I love sitting at a table where I can see into the kitchen and watch the chefs prepare the food. It's great. Last night my husband and I went there for our anniversary. I feel we might do it every year we're in the area.
Absolutely one of the best dining experiences! The staff, the pub room, the food, and the wine list are all amazing. My husband and I go here a few times a month and are never disappointed. The staff all know us and make us feel like old friends and the menu is always filled with soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees that are prepared and presented in such an elegant presentation and are absolutely delicious. We always take our friends and family here when we have visitors to show them that Gettysburg is more than a historic tourist town and that we have fine dining with an incredible chef!
This restaurant is by far the best restaurant in Gettysburg. Locals hope that this gem is preserved mostly for themselves, but that is selfish. The food is all original and delicious. Although this is definitely fine dining the quality of the food makes the place a fantastic value.
My wife and I chose to have dinner here for our Anniversary, after reading a blog review by a friend. We enjoyed the entire experience. We were seated in the bar area, which had some nice light jazz playing in the background. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. As it was our anniversary we were treated a few small extras compliments of the chef, which were greatly appreciated. My wife and I chose the Brussel Sprouts from the sharing menu, and they were fantastic. The butternut squash, walnuts and macerated cranberries included in the dish really set this apart from plain brussel sprouts. My wife chose to build her own burger, which she said was one of the best she's ever had. I had the Panko breaded Barramundi with Potato gnocchi and fresno chili sauce which was fantastic. The desserts were just as wonderful. My wife loved the Vanilla Creme Brulee with mixed nut biscotti, and enjoyed every bite of a NY style cheesecake with fig compote, roasted hazelnuts, and a honey granita. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to others, and we will return again.
Had a wonderful, relaxed meal on the back patio. Excellent cocktails (martini and cosmo). Shared three plates, the cheese board, ahi tuna, and carpaccio. All were spot on. Service was also excellent.
Sidney Willoughby Run was a very well appointed, first class restaurant. The service was impeccable. The servers are extremely knowledgable and absolutely attentive. Chef Annis and his team prepared the most delectable fare that was very pleasing to the pallate. Thank you to Van of The Swope Manor for highly recommending this restaurant as a must dine!
Great atmosphere. Delicious food. The gnocchi is to die for! Pleasant staff. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed!
Always good food and good service. A quiet place even in busy times (4th of July, Memorial Day, etc) with a nice bar and outdoor seating for good weather meals. Don't skip dessert!
Great food, nice atmosphere, wonderful service
The food was good, but the cleanliness of the place was not the best
Beautiful place for an outdoor wedding.
Very pleasant.
Attended an event here. Food was good, service was good, staff was very friendly and professional. The only thing that would have made it nicer was to not see the swimming pool filled with people while we were celebrating. It took away from the elegance of the event
Food was pretty good. Great service and atmosphere. A good alternative to the hard to reserve dining options in town.
It was ok, but obviously a former golf club's dining room, with a small menu and food that was overpriced for the quality.
First, we did have a great time here and everyone was really nice. The reason why I'm leaving 3 stars is because all the meat entrees we ordered were extremely overcooked. We ordered medium rare and medium and the meat was well done. If we're paying this much money for a meal then I would expect the meat to be cooked to perfection. The same thing happened to a table next to us as well. I will say...I ordered the pan roasted salmon and it was amazing! Last thing...I ordered the pinot grigio, it was very good and I paid $6 for a small glass and $9 for a large glass. Looked up the bottle afterwards to order a bottle for home and it's $7-8 per bottle! Seriously, why are you charging that much for a glass then.
This is probably one of the higher end options for a meal in Gettysburg that's right outside of town. They don't get more than 2 stars because for a high end restaurant, they did not know how to cook a steak medium rare, it was well done. Nor did they leave off the wine sauce that my husband specifically said he did not want. Rather than take any price off the meal that they completely got wrong, they charged full price. Ps. They don't take American Express so that sucked on top of the meal we didn't enjoy. There are better options in town to go to and I'm hoping they can cook a steak medium rare. Also, the appetizers took a long time to come out. We got salads so I'm not sure why that took longer than 20 minutes? The only reason they don't get 1 star is we didn't get food poisoning. Then again it's only been 3 hours since we left, so there's still time for that to happen.
Horrible service was in there for 5 mins we were shown to a table in front of the door to the patio. Everytime someone came in or went out the door slammed and the table practically shook. We asked to be seated at an unoccupied table and told no as it was reserved for someone later. Left and thats all she wrote
