El Racó Girona Reviews
Service was relatively fast. Food was fresh. Server spoke English. Other places were closed at the time we visited. This place was open and helpful.
Sat outside for some late drinks and snacks while watching the football. Delicious Vermut and nice snack boards. Really good service with very friendly staff - thank you so much
Wandering about with Madge and Booth we stumbled into Independence Square where bars and restaurants are in abundance. Decided on Münich bar and sat outside on a rapidly warming day in late March. First ever beers in Girona. Four 0.5l Mahou (3.95€ each) plus a couple of tapas (6.50 each.) Very good service. Good start to the holiday. Two floors inside.
I visited Girona for a family emergency that involved some sad goodbyes… this restaurant fed my family on three different occasions - we came back because the service and food quality felt comforting and special! Manuel was fantastic - he speaks fluent English and was quick to help us understand the menu- adjust some orders to accommodate our kids and his personality cheered us up and made us feel so welcome and looked after! Then we tried the burgers… In sevens days, we grabbed dinner here three times! That’s how amazing the food was! Will always come back for a tasty burger! Thank you Munich!
The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were very nice and the service was great. Although the food was slightly expensive, I would 100% come back here. If you are looking for a place to sit down and relax and eat great food, I cannot recommend this place enough!
I've been eating burgers a long time and for me, the difference between an average burger and a really good burger is the bun. There is no point putting good beef on a squishy artificially colored fast food bun. Münich burgers excel in both areas. The beef was very good and the bum was a real bakery roll. Hell, I'd buy just the bun if I saw it at a bakery.
Has some vegan tapas options which is why we came here, 2 types of croquettes, vegan burgers, and more. Unfortunately they served me the ham croquettes instead of the mushroom ones. They got me the mushroom ones eventually though. I wasn't too bothered but many vege people would be pretty upset that they have accidentally eaten meat. They still charged full price for everything. Nice vibe and lovely staff though, and the vegan food we had was really yum.
It's a chain (3 in Girona alone?), it's a simple formula of beer and tapas (the best bravas!), but this one actually comes with super friendly service too.
We left the cafe next door because it was a bit hot, and our child was crying and needed to be breastfed. We sat on a table in front of the cafe and just two minutes into feeding, the owner of this store passed by and spoke to us in a very rude and impolite manner, forcing us to get up, even though the place was completely empty. No manners or courtesy!
We were here before a crowd no tables were being used and nobody waiting, the waitress bouncing the tables was so rude. She did not ask us if we even wanted to see a menu and just ordered us to get up and leave. I told her that we were waiting for our friends who were paying and we would be gone in just a minute. she did not like that. There is no excuse when you are in customer service not to be kind. I have waited tables and worked in customer service so I know how it is to deal with rude people. It sucks, we were not bothering anyone, I could not believe how nasty she was for no reason.
Beer was okay. Waitress didn’t want to be there, ignored us and other tables for over 15 minutes. Tried to eat but every table around us complaining about service and cold food so gave it a kiss. Toilets okay. Quick to pay by going inside as waitress didn’t want to be there and ignoring customers.
