Muy buen sitio para desayunos, meriendas o tomar un café. Los camareros amables y súper simpáticos. El café está buenísimo y el café grande es grande de verdad. Hay en sitios que pides grande y es un pelín más del normal. Aquí realmente es un tamaño digno de XL. Pedimos huevos pochados, fritos y tostadas con aguacate y huevo. Todo buenísimo. Hay muchas opciones vegetarianas y veganas. El sitio tiene una terraza súper agradable para los días en los que no hay frío fuera. Muy recomendable.

Es la segunda vez que visitamos Girona y segunda vez también que repetimos cafetería. Pedimos huevos Benedict con beicon y huevos revueltos con aguacate, dos cafés con leche y un zumo de naranja. Nos encanta y está todo muy rico. Ir a Federal es sinónimo de éxito. Repetiremos seguro! Una próxima visita a Girona sin pasar por nuestra cafetería favorita sería impensable.

Super recomendado si quieren tener un brunch con todas las opciones, dulces, saladas, saludables! Está situado en una plazita encantadora y si eliges estar dentro la decoración del lugar es monísimo y ni que decir del personal, un 10 para el servicio 👏🏾, las chicas muy amables y bien atentidos que estuvimos todo el tiempo. Los precios son económicos y cuánta creatividad en esos platillos!

Lo hacen todo muy bueno, especialmente la tarta de chocolate y los huevos Benedict. Y si tienes la suerte de que te atienda Laura, la buena experiencia está asegurada. Bravo!!

Un café muy muy bueno!! Fui a desayunar y me tomé unas tostadas muy apañadas con el cafecito. La camarera un encanto, la pobre estaba sola y dándose un lote de currar atendiéndonos a todos y con una sonrisa!

We had breakfast at this place first thing in the morning. It was fantastic with the menu more suited to North American tastes. My blueberry French toast with yogurt was tasty, and my wife’s bowl of eggs, yogurt, avocado and a little spice with paprika and chili butter was a new flavor combination.

I had such a great experience at this restaurant. Laura was an excellent waitress. She was so friendly and delivered everything timely, and made a great wine recommendation. The serving size was so big that I took half home. There are vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Don't miss this cute little place at the entrance to the Jewish Quarter.

I loved the breakfast and coffee. We had the mango, passion fruit pancakes with a side of bacon and coffees and it was delicious. Was it sweet and savory and tangy and salty and crispy, while being rich and fluffy? Yes. Yes, it was all things. Everything you could want in a good breakfast all in one bite. The flavors and textures were an excellent combination. The nice server helped us lock up our bikes and we ate upstairs. Everything was great and the service was polite and in English. I would definitely go back.

Two story cafe with a minimalist yet cozy aesthetic. Iced vanilla latte was heavenly (albeit a tad sweet). Halloumi was bountiful and perfect for sharing. Also enjoyed the hummus dips. Lemon loaf was a bit dry though.

Amazing Café for coffee, food, healthy smoothies, snacks and evening drinks Been in Girona many times and tried many places but always coming back to FEDERAL. Super fresh food with a huge variety of snacks, amazing egg dishes, salads and Burgers. Coffee and all variations is really nice as well. Typical Italian style coffee (not fruity which I don’t like). Also the ‘Golden Milk’ is super nice. Great atmosphere as well and perfect for some work on the laptop upstairs. Staff is also very welcoming and you can also store the bike in a safe place next door. Thank you and see you soon again

The federal cafe is a must visit in Girona, really modern and trendy with all the classical dishes (pancakes, french toasts, eggs ..) for a breakfast or brunch. The place is calm, not overcrowded a great way to start the day.

I searched for the top rated local coffee before going to Girona and I found myself lucky to prove this true. The long black has special blend of balanced bitterness and acidity and it has a slight pleasant sweetness note. When made a latte, the milk and the coffee kind of complement each other. Visited as a tourist during mid November off-peak season. The brioche toast with grilled onion was amazing. Food served hot in a cloudy day was even a big plus. Hot latte in a glass cup without handle was weird, because it almost burned my hand within 5 seconds. The food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious which really irritated me as the" Reuben" sandwich they served me was the worst I have ever eaten . Certainly no American , much less a New Yorker would recognize it as such. Served on some kind dry toast , cheese unmelted, a couple of slices of " pastrami" and some sweet red cbbage....a slathering of Thousand Island dressing would have helped... anything to help slick it up a bit .....of lord. even now it's sitting like a rock in my guts.....added insult , cold " hand cut fries" ... Not my best breakfast in Girona. Unfortunately I do not know how something topped with Gruyere Cheese can taste so bland and rather rapeseed oil. PÉSIMA ATENCIÓN Y MAL TRATO AL CLIENTE! El camarero nos trató muy mal, vinimos con mi familia a pasar el día en Girona, éramos un grupo grande y elegimos ir a almorzar a la Federal Café y en vez de comunicar bien que era complicada la atención por la cantidad de personas que éramos, nos comunicaron de una forma desagradable que tenían solo 1 cocinero en vez de cuidar las formas y hablar bien. No recomiendo este lugar ya que lo más importante es el TRATO al cliente y aquí no lo tuvimos. Luego de 1 hora, pasamos por el local y el camarero nos dijo “QUE LES VAYA MAL”- el personal claramente no está capacitado y si queres pasar un buen momento no es este el lugar.

Pésimo servicio. El camarero nos dijo de muy mala manera que no podían atendernos por ser un grupo grande habiendo muchas mesas libres disponibles, supuestamente porque solo había un cocinero. Fue realmente muy grosero en sus formas, no se puede tratar así a un cliente por más de que no puedas atenderlo. Luego de una hora pasamos nuevamente y nos dijo “que les vaya mal”. No está capacitado para atender. No recomiendo este lugar.

Experiencia pésima. El trato fue horrible. Éramos un grupo de grande de personas y no quisieron acomodarnos, a pesar de que había espacio disponible. El camarero fue grosero y nada servicial. No recomiendo este restaurante en absoluto.
