Cooper's Glendale Reviews
Coopers House of Brewmasters exceeded all expectations during our vacation. With awesome service, delectable food, and great prices, it quickly became our favorite spot. The atmosphere was fun, complemented by good TVs and fantastic deals. The pastrami taco surprised us with its incredible taste. Abby, our bartender and server, was sweet and the best. Highly recommended!
Nice ice cold beer here.staff very friendly good sport barr....
We were looking for a place with good food and a low key vibe to watch the game and we struck gold! This place was exactly what we'd been looking for since out usual place got too loud and busy. The service was great. We were able to very comfortably watch the game. And all of the food we tried was delicious... This is definitely one of the best burgers you can get in Long Beach or LA. The onion rings were great. We tried all of the street tacos and enjoyed every one. The chili for the fries is a tad on the sweet side (not a criticism just a fact). It's homemade and really delicious. We will definitely be back! A lot!
Best food, cold beer, great environment, always good music, great bartenders and chefs. Favorite place to go on a Friday after work. If you like sports and beer and damn good food, this is where it's at!
If you are new here on a very busy day, be aggressive ordering. Normally service is good, but on extremely busy days, it is what it is. Twice I was here, the service was below average, but I don't fault the servers, because fact is there were hella customers for a couple tenders on a Sunday during football. They do their best. Maybe the management should have 4 or 5 tenders football Sundays?? Anyway, if it's crowded, ordering food and drinks in advance is advised. When the Raiders play, Raiders fans take over! It's a Raiders bar, baby! It is family friendly, so kids are welcome too! Pretty good menu choices. I suggest you try the Chile Verde pizza! Get in on Tuesdays! Weekdays they have happy hour from 4 pm to 7 pm. Service is always great on regular days. Love the bar tenders here! They are friendly and take good care of you! Highly recommend!
Love going to this place! Feels very cozy and a great place to grab a beer during happy hour. They have Monday to Friday which is very affordable when watching a game or event. Love it
Woohoo go Dodgers. The joint is jumping with Dodger fans, packed and yet the service somehow keeps up. People ordering buckets of beer, schooners. The televisions all tuned to game five of the NLDS. Great food, try the chile verde and chips. Extensive varied menu especially for a sports bar coming out of an honest to god kitchen. Prices are down to earth reasonable. Next time you are in Lakewood, California and you want to see some sports and grab a bite and a beer check it out.
I often came to Cooper's House of Brewmasters to catch the Dodger game when I lived around the corner. This place has an awesome vibe, especially when they're showing sports and PPV events. I came here for lunch and ordered their Dos Grande Tacos. The waitress was kind enough to accommodate my request for one soft and one hard shell taco. It took about 10 minutes for my order to be ready, and it looked huge. My soft taco had carne asada and came with jalapeño slices and onions. The Asada was cooked well and packed with a lot of flavors. The jalapeños, onions, and salsa were a nice touch to the taco. The crunchy taco had carnitas with lettuce and cheese on top. The carnitas were okay, not the best I've had, but good. The sauce that came with it made it a bit better and had a lot of meat. In conclusion, this has been my favorite spot to eat their salsa verde pork cheese fries, but I wanted to try something else today. If you're into sports, watching PPV, eating good food, and enjoying beers or liquor, I highly recommend this place.
The service here is really outstanding, I told the bartender 'Thank you for making my first time here feel like home' 🫶. We really just ordered pizzas because the pizzas here are out of this world good, but there was a mix up with the order that was quickly fixed and we decided to stay for some drinks while there. None of us are big drinkers but will likely return at some point.
After a long days drive, we came across Coopers Pub. Relaxed bar setting with big screen tvs with the game on. Burgers were fantastic. Debbie served us and was awesome.would recommended this place if you need a cold beer and a smile!
It took a few days for me to decide to write a review, but in the long run I think it important for people to know what kind of establishment they choose to support. For years I have frequented this bar for occasional meals. I was surprised to hear that an employee, Claudia, refused my request for a food order due to prejudice amounting to elderly abuse. I am certain she is not the owner as she might have taken into account that there were few customers in the establishment.
I went to order my mom some food since we were at the bar next door. I told her that I was placing an order for my mother, Rhapsody. The lady behind the bar Claudia stated that my mom's food was left there the week prior. I was pretty confused and stated that they usually deliver to the people next door. She had gotten too busy to deliver, which I thought was odd because she delivered to a white lady who was sitting at our table the very same night. The Claudia lady told me that she delivered when it wasn't so busy, but it was within the same hour. She then proceeded to tell me that either myself or my mom Rhapsody could come pick up her own order tonight because she's not delivering anything to her because she doesn't like her. I was flabbergasted! My my mother has a disability and it's hard for her to walk, especially in the cold air. I let Claudia know that I would inform my mother to see if she was still comfortable with ordering food from this place. Of course, she decided against placing an order and at this point, we will never order food from this place again. Wow...my mother Rhapsody has never done anything to this woman nor anyone working at this place. I am just in awe about the lack of consideration for a disabled person and customer service. WOW.....just wow.. Just remember that under the guidelines of the ADA..you cannot deny someone service or reasonable accommodations for a disabled individual.
