Amazing!!! I went there for lunch with my girlfriends. 3 of us had birthdays a few days apart of each other, so we decided to celebrate at Aroy Dee. I have never been there before and was a little suspicious because it did not look too fancy from outside :) I was pleasantly surprised. It is very nice and clean and cozy inside. I am a good cook myself and am hard to please when it comes to restaurant food. These guys are great. Food is very fresh and very delicious. The service is superb. The girls that work there saw that we were celebrating BDs, so they brought 3 desserts with candles, and on top of that, each of us (BD girls) got a Birthday gift card for $5. Absolutely must try. And I will be back for sure.

Wonderful Experience! The food was absolutely delicious. The wait staff was stellar. They also Catered to our 1 year old Child which was a delightful bonus. We were a party of eight, everyone had something different and everyone was overly satisfied.

This place is a hidden gem , one of the best Thia food we ever had. We visited the area for new years vacation n me ,my wife and girls like to venture so we decided to check this place out. Services were fast n the food was outstanding. Best green curry ,pad Thai n sushi based on my family. We never ever were all happy when we go to a Thia food restaurant as one of the girls always hate something. Not this place. Prices were decent and we will definitely come back again.

Okay, the amazing food made up for the not so amazing service. We waited about 10-15 to get acknowledged at our table and ordered everything for our meal at one time. Our drinks, including water took 30 to get to our table and the food was about an hour. They were definitely busy with take-out and that's fine, but have just one or two dedicated servers for the floor. The food was very good, no complaints on that end. So if you're in the area, want great Thai food, and have an hour and a half to kill it's very much worth it.

This is truly the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to outside of Thailand. Ingredients are selected with precision for flavor and freshness - and the atmosphere is very cozy no matter the season. Summer is incredible with the fresh produce, but what a joy to have this restaurant in Glens Falls during the winter months. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough. If you want Thai, or Sushi (fish is so fresh) go to Aroy Dee!! Don’t sleep on the Green Curry!!

My girlfriend and I love this place and this is one of our go-to spots when eating out. I'm never disappointed by the food and everything I've tried so far, I've loved. It's not the fanciest, yes, but it's not meant to be fancy. It's nice and cozy and welcoming, which feels better to me than some fancier place. The portions are good sizes, not sure where people get small portions from. But I love this place and we'll continue to come back for many future visits.

We were in town and decided that we wanted some sushi for dinner. We searched for places in downtown Glens Falls and Aroy Dee came up and we though we'd try it. Boy am I glad we did. Their sushi is excellent! Their soups are very good as well. Our food was also prepared and ready for pick-up fairly quickly. All in all I had a great experience and am very likely to eat here again. :)

We are obsessed with this spot! We live nearby and walk over for pickup at least once a week. The owners are lovely. We have always been treated so well. Excellent sushi, excellent Thai food too. Amazing drunken noodles and tom yum soup. Fantastic flavor

We travel over an hour to eat here. We went last night to celebrate my birthday and I had the large soup with seafood. My first with this dish and loved it! We love their friendliness, GF options, etc. we have been a fan for many years.

I mainly go there to pick up our takeout and haven't eaten there as a sitdown in years. The food is excellent. My wife loves the pad see ew. I try to get something different every time and am never disappointed. If you get takeout, allow 5 to 10 min more than what they tell you. The members of this family owned business are very friendly.

I have never had a bad meal here, ever! It is my favorite Thai place in the area. The Tom Yum soup is top-notch and so is the Pok Pok salad. I am in love with their Thai curries, and if you order hot, you better be ready for the food to actually be spicy! (Order a Thai iced tea to help with that.) It's hard to find authentic Thai spice around here, and Aroy Dee doesn't disappoint. The service is always quick, and the waitresses are always so nice. Especially Margie!

An excellent place to get food. A bit on the pricier side of things, but definitely worth it. I always get sushi made special due to allergies, and they are extremely good about letting me know what food I can or cannot have based on my or my wifes food allergies. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly. Highly recommend.

I’ve always loved their food, but I recently went vegan and the vegan options are incredible. Drunken noodles with tofu were absolutely perfect, even as takeout. I’m so glad I gave their vegan options a try; I’ve always enjoyed everything I’ve ever had here.

Absolutely amazing! We just moved to the area and are so glad we found Aroy Dee. The food is incredibly flavorful, the prices are great, and the staff is warm and welcoming. We tried the Pad See-Eew with chicken and the Aroy Dee Lo-Mein Noodle with beef—both dishes were loaded with insanely fresh, tasty vegetables. The chicken and beef were extremely tender and delicious. Ordering online was super easy, and our food was ready incredibly fast. We’re seriously impressed and excited to make this our go-to Thai spot from now on!

Aroydee is the best Thai food I have ever eaten - and I’ve spent 3+ months in Thailand. You have to try the crab rangoon, they are unreal!!! Also can’t go wrong with the chicken fried rice or pad thai. Not only is the food amazing, the staff constantly goes above and beyond for their customers. I have only had great experiences at Aroydee and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Seriously - order the crab rangoon. 🙂‍↕️

It's my favorite dining spot. They offer a wide variety of food and desserts, and their staff is extremely pleasant. It's an absolute delight to visit there. I'm a very picky eater, and the chef is quite accommodating with regards to what you may or may not desire in your dish. This makes it a plus for me. Overall, it receives a rating of 5 out of 5. My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Aroy Dee Thai and Sushi! From the moment we walked in, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed. Ashley, our server, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. She was attentive and helpful, even when we needed a bit of guidance, and along with a co-worker, checked on us throughout the meal to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. It had been a while since our last visit, but we remembered how much we enjoyed their food—and once again, we were not disappointed. The shrimp pad thai was absolutely phenomenal, in my opinion, the best we've ever had. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, exactly as we hoped. Absolutely wonderful every time. Accommodating for vegetarian, vegan, and other strict diets. I had the sweet and sour tofu and my boyfriend had the Lunch Box #1. We both loved our food. They even brought me out a meat free soup when I didn’t even ask! A nice business with a great atmosphere. It’s clear that the employees love working here as well.

They ate everything with gusto and complimented the food. They refused to pay for something they ordered and ate and the cops were called in response. Absolutely the best service around. Always friendly staff. We’ve gotten numerous “freebies” for holidays, the Super Bowl, and whenever they’re doing other specials which is a major plus. The menu is honestly priced. Food is always delicious and even when they’re busy we’re never waiting too long. The go to spot for our date nights.

Just had dinner at Aroy Dee. It was one of the most delicious meals we had in the Lake George area. We were a party of 5 and the service was phenomenal. We made an inquiry about cake while making a reservation, as we were celebrating a birthday and they remembered and brought us complimentary Fried Donut. Highly recommend Sushi Pizza and Tom Yum soup. Oh! And the prices are unbeatable.

We've been going to Aroy Dee ever since we discovered them back in 2016. Every birthday and anniversary or other special occasion typically involves a visit or takeout from here. Im gluten free and they have an extensive menu available with tons of gluten free meal and sushi choices. They are very small, and family owned, so they often get pretty backed up on orders. We often do takeout and if they say it'll be ready in 45 mins, you may want to call and make sure its ready, because chances are fair it won't be when you get there and you'll be waiting. My last visit involved an extra 35 minute wait after I got there to pick it up. Otherwise...there food is excellent and the staff/owners are very nice people. Definitely worth the wait, just keep in mind that there will likely be one.

Running out of places to try at Lake George, and an Asian persuasion meant finding Aroy Dee in Glen Falls. Not too far away, this Thai restaurant is located in a residential neighborhood. Essentially a house converted to a place to eat. Being aware of the early closing times, we booked a table early enough and were promptly seated upon arrival. Loads of the interior reflects an Asian ambience including a little kitty with its paw waving endlessly on the cash/bar counter. We ordered from a range of spring rolls, drunken noodles, chicken dishes like spicy basil chicken to sushi and also authentic Japanese Sake (Rice Wine). The Sake has a kick that comes in just a little after and was truly delightful! The food was authentic, portion sizes were great and the flavors exceeded our expectations, given we were seated in Glen Falls and not anywhere close to Asia! Kudos to the service as well - polite, responsive and accommodating.

While the decor isn't the best, the food more than makes up for it! The food was very flavorful and I was pleasantly surprised to see how they served the curry in a terracotta bowl with a tealight candle underneath. It was a tad too salty for our pallets, but I loved the strong flavors and char the chef was able to achieve. Food aside, they forgot to give us water and even though it was 60 degrees outside they still had the AC running and I was sitting right next to a large vent, so spent the entire dinner in my jacket. Considering where this restaurant is located, I think it's pretty good Upstate New York Asian food. I'd visit again.

This is a local neighborhood favorite spot for us. Their food is consistent, and service is always pleasant. We enjoyed a wide variety of appetizers, main entrees, sushi, and dessert on our most recent visit. I love their chicken katsu (huge portion too for an appetizer!) and their (fried) pork gyoza. The gyoza are always cooked perfectly, and the filling is delicious. Hubby loves the crab rangoon. He recommends the sushi, and although I didn't order it this time, drunken noodles would be my favorite dish. The chicken with yellow curry sauce I ordered this time is also good. Don't forget dessert - the donuts come with a nice dipping sauce. Definitely recommend!

The sushi was flavorful and fresh tasting! The dragon roll had way too Much tempura crumbs..a mountain of it. The service was great! He was very friendly and knew the menu well! hidden gem of a sushi restaurant. I enjoyed every roll I tried it was served on a boat, which is an interesting experience to have delivered. The prices are decent. I wouldn't say they are great, but definitely worth it, I would say. The waiter Lenard was energetic and fun, and he added joy to the atmosphere. Just don't look too closely at all The crooked paintings and pictures hanging on the walls. I give it 5 stars. Which I don't often do, The food caught me off guard with how good it was. I will be back for more... P.S. Lenard needs a raise. His energy is enjoyable enough to return on its own, a model employee if I've ever seen one.

My boyfriend never had sushi before, so I wanted him to try some and this place had good reviews, so we gave it a try. Very cozy spot and the food was pretty good. I liked the fried cheesecake a lot, but boyfriend hated it and he’s still not into sushi...more for I guess. Good food for the price.

It makes me really sad to write this review. Every single experience I’ve had there has been great. It’s a wonderful place with the best sushi I’ve ever had, big portions, and a great staff. I have a sesame allergy, and my boyfriend has a peanut allergy. In the past they’ve been very accommodating to both. It was one of our favorite restaurants to go to because of this. In the past they told us they would clean the fryer of peanut oil to fry our sushi. His allergy is sensitive so if there was peanut oil he would know. We always felt safe going there knowing that they were so accommodating. We never had any problems. Yesterday we called to place a pickup order. We told the woman over the phone about our allergies. She told us that they would use the same fryer so it was best to order somewhere else. We are very sad because this is our very favorite sushi restaurant. We’ve had birthdays, anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day celebrations here. That being said, always a great experience and great food. So if you don’t have allergies then I’d give it a go!

Let me share the pros first: The food here is pretty good, especially the Tom Yum Hot Pot, this is this restaurant's special! I will highly recommend it! It is spicy but it has its Thai style flavor spicy! Cons: The waiting time for the dining in is too long. My family spent roughly 30 minutes to have our first dish available on the table. I found they pretty much served the online orders first then the dining in guests. So, I would say this is a room of improvement item for this restaurant.

I would have given this place a five stars. It was our first time there this evening before a hockey game. There are so many Gluten-free options and it made my heart happy. Every lthing was going so well until our fruity sushi roll was delayed because they were backed up. We understand that they were backed up and very understanding. We just wanted the roll packed up to go. We overheard our waitress giving an attitude about the fact that we wanted it packed up despite the fact they just finished making it. We were done eating and stuffed. And all we wanted to do was pay and leave. After overhearing all that we heard we left feeling very uncomfortable. We wish it didn't happen that way and for that we won't be back. We really wanted to come back. Because the food was delicious I had to give 3 stars.

I don’t know how to rate this place, I really wanted to like it but there were too many disappoints. Let me just start by saying that the service was very slow, but they were also busy especially when it came to take out. We waited a long time for water and an extremely long time for food. We got our soups first, most ordered Tom Yum and they LOVED it, I had the Tom Kah and it was just okay - a bit more sour not as much complexity to the flavors. We ordered a bunch of items to share which took forever to receive and given that we were hungry we enjoyed them the best that we could but it wasn’t anything impressive. The pad thai was probably one of the worst I’ve ever had, I hadn’t even realized it was pad thai it was doused in soy sauce. The Thai iced tea and complimentary Thai donuts were pretty good.

Update 2025: dropping a star because every month, the portions get 5% smaller. We know the economy is bad - Just charge people more and give us an actual dinner portion. It’s sad to get a curry with barely any chicken or vegetables after really falling in love with their curry when I first moved here. Still the best tasting curry in town but the portions are just depressing at this point 2023 review: The phad Thai is not authentic at all. Their curry is probably the best in town. If you order delivery they will not give you enough rice for 2 curries. Drunken noodles are always good

Used to be very good. Picked up take out last night. The place is definitely dirtier than it used to be. Fried rice tasted old, dumplings were thick and awful. Crab Rangoons were the only edible item from my order. Maybe it's been ownership? I will not go back. Sad as it used to be very good.

So, let me start by saying, I have always loved Aroy Dee. Usually I have nothing but good things to say but last night warrants a complaint. I ordered delivery, which I've done many times before, and was told it would be 50-55 minutes. Over an hour later, with no food, I called and had a horrible problem even getting through to someone. I was told they would call the driver to see where he was and then I was told he was close. I got my food an hour and forty minutes after I ordered it and this is the mess that was delivered to my door. The driver had the drinks in a bag on their side so they leaked everywhere and one of the lids on the food wasn't on tightly and it also leaked through a bag. I spent about 15 minutes cleaning up the mess (my coffee table will need to be refinished) and salvaged what I could of the drinks. Was the food delicious? Of course! It always is. Will I probably ever order delivery again? Not likely. Totally bummed to have paid $70 for such a mess.

Huge fan of Thai and Sushi but was very disappointed with this place today. Ordered vegetable tom kha soup, pad thai with a 2* heat level, and a sunset roll. The soup flavor was amazing, but the vegetables were not fresh tasting. The pad thai sauce was very dark and almost sticky, and the tamarind flavor was lacking. It was spicy, but without much actual flavor to back it up. Noodles were undercooked and didn't appear to have been stirfried even at all as there was no color on them. It definitely needed the lemon that came with but, why make your guests season their own food? Also carrots came on top... Carrots do not belong in pad thai... Rice on the roll was overcooked, the seaweed was tough to chew, and the shrimp tempura was not even crunchy, actually, it was rubbery. And the plain panko it was rolled in was excessive and made the whole thing very bland. Overall not well executed 😕

Called at 5pm on the dot placed an order and was told 1 hour. At 6:30 I called in to check on it was put on hold for 10 minutes and then got discounted. When I called back the line was always busy and couldn’t get them on the phone till 7. Once I got them on the phone they basically just said we got busy. When I asked why it has been 2 hours they said we got busy like I said and the driver just left with it so we can’t refund and then hung up. It’s unfortunate as they have great food and have been our go to but recently the service has been horrible. We have moved our business to the new Thai place, sweet rice on dix Ave and have been very happy with them so far. Food finally showed up at 7:20 and it was cold so “we got busy” certainly was a kitchen problem as the food clearly was sitting somewhere for a while. I was told it left at 7 and didn’t show up till 7:20 even though we only live 7 minutes away.

Recently they have deceased the size of the Thai ice teas when you order delivery. No option for size, it's always a small. They also started completely filling them with ice compared to about half full like they used to. So I started asking for no ice, and they charged me an extra dollar for no ice.... I know times are tough but $2.50 for about 3oz of beverage is a bit much.

This was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely terrible—rubbery chicken, burnt noodles and white rice that looked yellow…all of it looked like it had been sitting out for days. The service was just as bad: we were ignored for 20 minutes, and when we asked politely about our order, the server rolled their eyes and walked away. To top it off, they added items to our bill we never ordered, then acted like we were lying when we pointed it out. The manager was rude, sarcastic, and clearly didn’t care about customer service. There was zero accountability, no apology, and no respect. This place is a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. Save your time, money, and patience—just go anywhere else.

Ordered online via their website - which they encourage you to do. I received a confirmation email with a pick-up timeframe and my credit card was charged. I arrived for pick-up and it was very busy. After waiting nearly 20 minutes while they moved through the other customers waiting in line ahead of me, they finally got to me only to tell me that my order was not confirmed and therefore it was not prepared. I’m unsure how an order can be unconfirmed with a confirmation email and charged card. Won’t be ordering again.

Is it the ONLY Thai food here? The answer probably is. If you HAVE TO eat Thai food after a trip, the place is the right place for you. Four friends and I had a long and tiring hiking before visiting this restaurant. We came to the restaurant at about 6 and waited about half an hour to get served. The food we ordered are not exotic or fancy but some regular Thai food, like curry and noodles. It took about NINETY Minutes to get all our food ready. The expectation of the food cannot be lower after such a long wait. However, the food size is not only tiny but also too sweet. This is a very upset experience after an interesting and pleasant hiking trip. So, reconsider before visiting the restaurant.

i ordered $23 dollars worth of food. ordered a roll of tuna and avocado, i kid you not the roll was 2 bites worth and beyond overpriced. also a ordered noodles and pork. it had 2 pices of pork and mushed noodles. they need to go look in the mirror and not cheap out on customers this is beyond disappointing.
