Was busy when i came in to grab food for my family. Everything was correct and hot. Great service i liked that the cashier reapted back my order to make sure it was correct.
Preferred to order inside so I can double-check that my order was correctly filled. They have plexiglass barriers at the order counter. Very easy and safe to order inside. Then ate in my car in their large parking lot. Good experience!

Service is great here, ordered a french fry with salt and was notified they use light salt due to customers individuality. So she gave my a fresh fry and salt on the side. I like this Burger King over many of the others in the area. It is located at the North periphery of South Shore shopping center in Alameda, which makes it a convenient place to eat when shopping or running errands. This Burger King always has ample parking

Honestly, this is just another Burger King but I gave them a higher review..... Because the atmosphere is super clean and there's rarely anyone inside so it's quiet. Your customer service is nice too.
I do like my experience when I order from this side of the town in Alameda where it is beautiful near the ocean about 5 minutes from the ocean! The shopping center is very nice next to this burger king and they have pescetarian options! Nice and clean location lots of entertainment variety to choose from, as well near the BK
It's Burger King which is pretty much the same meals as any other fast food burger joint. I will say that the Impossible Whopper burger is pretty tasty given it's vegetarian.
It's a mid-quality location that is fairly unremarkable. The food is consistent and I've never had any major issues when hitting this drive through on my way home.
I'm giving not this but all burger Kings a 3 because they don't make the food to order now like back in the days... Is been 5/4 years since I tested a freshly cooked Whopper even if I asked for of the grill it tastes old
Overall, a bit underwhelming. Not always open at the right hours due to lack of staff, which is understandable but still disappointing. Food is always alright, just double check that your getting everything.
I know you don't need a fancy degree to work here, but seriously at least know how to read, I have yet to get an order right, first time I went through the drive thru and I heard them talking in Spanish at the window that they gave the person before me my order and to just go ahead and give me their order, the next time I ordered inside and told the girl no cheese yes bacon, the receipt shows this, but the idiots in the back gave me no bacon yes cheese
I receved my order without a long wait, although it appeared other customers had been waiting much longer. The 2 self serve soda machines were partially working.
This one I really don't know about. I was helping a homeless man who asked me to buy him breakfast but then as he was walking towards the door he turned and walked away so that he could go by alcohol.
They have a drive thru and lots of seating, though we usually get it to go. We like to bike there along the beach. The spicy chicken and original chicken sandwich is the best.

What has happened to BK in the last few years!? Long wait times and dirty dinning rooms. There is barely any help behind the counter. I feel bad for the overworked staff at every BK. Save yourself the frustration and use the app to order ahead. Be nice to the staff, it's not their fault.
Impossible burger can be mushy, so I ask for it well done. It often comes back burnt. Wondering if there's a happy medium, maybe the dark brown you see just before it turns black?
CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! THEY ROUND UP WITHOUT ASKING! This happened a few months ago and I went back to ask why and to get a refund. They mentioned it to the manager and it stopped. Well, it started again! They don't ask you nor do they tell you what it's for! Unacceptable! BK makes plenty of money! I enjoy their food and love the gals in the drive thru, but this is ridiculous and I don't think the gals are even aware because the last time she felt very badly and refunded the change promptly.
The food tastes good, however, the pink lemonade tastes like syrup and water. The whopper was a little to saucy and messy. Not my favorite...🤷♀️
Stale Buns Ruined Rare Visit. Is there any greater sin at a sandwich place than stale bread? Bread is the foundation (literally) of every sandwich. Get that part wrong and it's a loss. However, this loss was exacerbated by hamburger patties that were neither hot nor particularly fresh. I used to like Burger King but things have changed.

upper management needs to train their employees on customer sevice and should work side by side and set the example what is right from wrong. Also the manager should train their supervisor's instead of yelling at them and talking bad about them to employees.
Why don't you update your menu by removing your classic chicken sandwich, Dr Pepper, your icee products, and your jalapeño cheese bites. Will be less frustrating on the customer to keep having to find something after being told we don't have, we don't have. Also, since when do you not ask or give condiments. My son and I purchased a large fry, a medium fry and a large coke. Once we paid we were asked to pull out of the drive-thru and park in the parking lot. I asked why and was told a timer was in use and the server wanted to show that she had given us our food in a timely manner. I asked you want me to drive back onto Otis Drive during rush hour and ignore your right hand turn only sign make two left turns across a very busy street for your timer? Yes that was how I was going to receive my food. OK I said onetime must be a fluke! No tonight it happened again except I was told I could wait at the end of the drive way as it showed that I had left the property. What a waste of time for all involved at least this time I didn’t have to place my family in danger to get some fries and a coke. Next time it happens I am just going to demand my money back and we will not darken your Burger King with our money ever again!
20-25 min average wait, whether it's drive thru or inside. The large hispanic lady at the register is incredibly rude and aggressive. Ignores the lines of customers waiting to order, doesn't give out cups or receipts, then argues with customers. It's unfortunate, because the cook(s) here make this the best Burger King I've ever been to. You walk into this establishment, and the team dynamic is very awkward. You can feel it from everyone behind the counter and I wouldn't be surprised if it was because of this woman.
I feel sorry for this location in Alameda. I guess they.must be really struggling with obtaining staff. I went there on a wed night , about 6 pm. Three customers , including me. There appeared to be 3 people working. The drive thru was closed for repairs. I've worked fast food , and rate my customer experience based on how long the orders would have taken me to prepare. First, I waited ten minutes just to place my order. The man at the front counter did nit acknowledge my presence. He wandered around back and forth basically doing nothing when he should have been taking orders. I didn't see him do much of anything. Next, after waiting ten minutes just to place an order, I had to wait another 15 minutes to get my food. It dies not take long to drop a rack of fries and put on two small hamburgers. There wasn't anybody else there !!! Then, front counter guy doesn't bag up my whoppers ,he lets them sit and get cold. Same thing with the fries. They were done long before my burgers and he let them sit and get cold. I was pretty angry by this time. I had already paid or I would have left. My food was cold and it took wayyyyyy too long to get it. Not busy, no other customers, no excuses. I don't usually go to this Burger King. And I don't know where another locations are. I had some coupons , that is why I chose to visit them the other evening. I got home and had to reheat my fries and burgers. They probably would have been good if they didn't sit around getting cold. I mentioned that I had BK coupons. After this crummy trip, I threw the rest of them away. There are better places with decent service very close by. I feel sorry for the owner.
Got my drive through order incorrect despite my telling them 3 times. Next day tried going inside. Drive through orders were going out quickly, but those of us inside were standing around 2 to 3 minutes. When someone would ask what was taking so long, the manager would reply "you just have to wait." When I finally did get my burger it was barely warm. Would not recommend this Burger King.
Terrible place above at all cost. Offered shower and hamberger, both meat patties were dry, much smaller that the bread, too much sauce, poor service, maybe management does not care. Go someplace else, they ruined my desire to want to eat at my preferred burger place. Also worth noting, the cashier was touching and serving food. Health regulation violation.
I just came to this Burger King today and let me say that the customer service was absurd. They gave us the wrong order at first and then took it back. Then it took them forever to give us our food back and they ended up giving us mozzarella sticks instead of the cheesy tots we ordered. They were very rude and didn’t even ask if we wanted any sauces. I tried to ask for sauce and they didn’t hear me yelling through the drive thru trying to ask for sauce. Burger King usually is the same no matter where you go. Not here. Something must be wrong because the burgers are not hot. The cheese doesn't melt and spots of the burger are still cold and uncooked. This has happened the last three times I've gone there.

I stop at this location on my way to work sometimes, they are not consistent when it comes to making breakfast sandwiches and their egg burritos. the egg they put in is paper thin a their burrito is mostly tortilla. I go to the burger king in Newark, Ca on my way to work because they are consistent with their breakfast. I purchased a egg-normous burrito and the egg was paper thin and it only had 3 tiny has brown in it. I went back and the woman working there said that's how they make it. I told her "no" but she continued to argue with me about it. I think it's going to be my last time going there.

Ordered a 12 piece mozzarella fries I received 8. Also they forgot my water bottle. Their bathroom is disgusting. The floor was all wet and it wasn't water. The garbage was full of paper, I bet they didn't check it the entire day. I didn't even order anything, I walked out.

Second time they didn’t bring it out to me and I had to go in. I just gave them another chance and they made me stand in the lobby for 7 minutes without even acknowledging me. I refuse to eat here again. Three chances is too much.
One of the least great burger kings. They can't even put a couple of chairs outside to eat on -- you can either sit on the curb or spill it all over yourself in the car.

I have never been in Burger King when the line was down the asle way-long. Can you believe i stood in line for at less 10 minute for a medium soda and they didn't open another registra. My T-Shirt says "Walk a Mile" that was take the whole dam day and no change. Thanks, for a large soda cup for the waiting. Yes, It would of been longer if i went safeway store in mall where all the lines were long and kids were screaming.👎Start the New Year off right.🥰
If they can not staff the Burger King they should not be open. Rude... pre cooked food that was Luke warm at best. If your hungry you should consider a place that takes care of their custoners.
Unbelievably slow and incredibly unresponsive. I’ve been sitting in the drive through for 15 minutes with no movement. Workers can’t be bothered to even give an update. Just go to McDonald’s.
Came here twice in a couple weeks, second time to confirm that there is a definite problem. Cold burger that looked like it was cooked hours earlier, filthy sticky floors, drink area was covered with liquids. No one cleaning tables or eating area but plenty of employees playing around behind the counter. Nasty
This has to be one of the dirtiest Burger Kings I have ever been to. It was a little surprising it was not that busy and employees standing around instead of cleaning tables and mopping the floor. Maybe that's why it was not busy.
Their soda machine had no sodas the other was broken, they didn't have Bbq sauce for the nuggets, theere was a homeless guy blowing his nose the whole time, the apple pie was hot cooked enough, the spicy chiken sandwich esas cold. I don't recomend it
Most horrible customer service I’ve encountered. Especially the guy who’s taking order in the drive thru @ 10:30pm Nov. 20,2021. We’re trying to order and he don’t have patience to take it so he left without saying anything and when we went to the next window he said that we need to go because he didn’t take are orders. And he don’t want to take it.
Had a terrible time this morning with maria! She has a very strong accent. And it is sometimes hard to understand what she is saying. When I didn't understand what she was saying. She started yelling at me! When I reached the window I told her she was rude and unprofessional. But she just had a blank look on her face. Because she didn't understand what I meant! I asked for my receipt for my purchase. And she told me the machine was broken.and could not provide me a receipt. I was going to do the survey and give her a low score. She is terrible! Awful customer service! Very rude!
1 star only bcus Zero was not an option. i went there tonight and the whole experience was horrible. The locked their doors waaay earlyrefusing customers in the final 20 minuts of their lobby beibg closed off and 2 men on staff were so unbelieveably Rude that made me want to Never go there again.

This Southshore location is not as good as has been in the past. I haven't been to this restaurant in a long time but I had a long commute ahead of me and needed something quick. I ordered at the drive thru and not only was my order wrong (I asked for no cheese on my Whopper Jr) but my burger was cold and tasted like it was cooked yesterday. They weren't even busy ( there was one car already at the window ahead of me) so I don't understand why my food wasn't hot and the fries weren't fresh. I'm assuming they were very short-staffed but I would have waited for hot food if they told me it would take a while, but they didn't.
I really hope that the manager or responsible person to manage the employee of this branch is looking over this review. I don’t really like to leave a review, but this is something i must. I have experienced the worst Customer service ever. My husband and I come here at late nights to buy burgers for to-go. Its the second time this has happened to us, that’s why i am bringing myself to write a review. I have worked in restaurant industry for years so i do know how exactly its hard during a rush hour to remember how all the orders go through. Also, i agree that Customers are not ALWAYS right, but nevertheless you need to listen to their concerns, that is what customer service is about. Last week, we went to driveway and didn’t get our fries that we ordered, so after arriving home we had to drive back to ask for the missing food, they were hesitant in admitting that they forgot while packaging. We let it go, because its happens given the way how fast employees have to work on chain fast food. Today, again we got two meals, reaffirmed with the cashier from driveway if the meals are all in the package, he says YES! And when i checked i saw onion rings and two fries and could feel burger too so we trusted that nothings missing. We come home and there isn’t the second burger? My husband had to go back and ask if they missed during packing, but the cashier was literally snapping my husband like, “This is your habit to ask for missing food!!” OMG...i could not believe that anyone could do it without rethinking not even once. Human error happens. At first, he did not even check with the person who packed the food before making assumptions and talking as if we are a habitual Liar??? i know sometimes you can forget during packing , but its just a fries or a burger. who’s gonna lie for few bucks??? Please rethink at least once if you could have forgotten or mistaken before making assumptions. Everyone else in this shift were nice other than this cashier guy. I am not disappointed with missing fries or burger, but the assumptions that this guy made. This is beyond humiliating for us. We don’t expect to be treated with optimum customer service but we live a hard life too so we would appreciate if you at least treat us with minimal respect. Thank you.
8/20/22 Went to buy 2 impossible whopper sandwiches and was told it was 26 dollars. When I decided to change it to 3 whopper Jr's (that cost 3.29 each 10 total) I was told it was the same price and they told me to give them 26. I said no It should be around 10 and the girl says "just hand me a ten" I never got a receipt and pretty sure they are pocketing cash. When I left I had 2 small whopper Jr's with nothing on them totally plain. Twice now we have had the worst experience here. Once they took 20 minutes for 2 burgers. I highly recommend avoiding this spot. There are lots of other good food spots around.
Terrible experience multiple times here! I waited in the drive thru to be told they were only taking cash. When I returned with cash the lady at the drive thru took my payment went to check on my order and then didn’t remember I had already paid her. I ordered 3 whoppers with no cheese, 2 fries and 2 cheeseburgers with no pickles or onions. I got 3 whoppers with cheese and no pickles or onion, two fries and no cheeseburgers. Second time around we ordered 2 whoppers and 2 fries but they charged me for 4 whoppers and 4 fries. When I told them my order was wrong the employee and manager both proceeded to tell me that I ordered 4 of each!
The meat was dry and hard and the buns were dry even with mayo on them. The pickles were withered the tomatoes wasn't ripe and the fries were not fresh because as soon as the fries cool down they are hard and dry. The drive thru was blocked and the lines inside was extremely long with only one cashier working and he appeared to be shift manager. Will be hesitate to stop there due to this experience. Close the restaurant.
Don't want to give a single star but have no choice, but this place is horrible, ppl there looked lost like didn't know what they were doing and specially the cashier trying to looked cool when he needed to be faster than that. And the guys in the back making burgers weren't even wearing hair nets for hair or beard that's disgusting. And worst was when they were calling my order # and wasn't even ready like wth. Looks good on the outside but terrible service and not clean plus bathrooms ugh... Terrible!!! 😤
The employees are nice enough and are working hard, but this restaurant is clearly understaffed. We are regulars and love the Whopper, but this is ridiculous. Walk-in customers are ignored in favor of drive-thru (an industry issue, in my estimation). We have waited 5-10 minutes to even place our order several weekends in a row. We have observed how few employees are working here during busy times. This morning there are only 3, and they are having to hustle. The era of FAST food is gone.
Can’t get any lower. Go there quite a lot but no more. Ordered double king meal got home, about a mile,the burger was cold, French fries the same. The soda had no ice and probably warmer than the meal. The fries and burger probably had been sitting half the day Good bye BK
Was charged twice for French fries. I did receive a refund Fir one though. French fries were undercooked and under Salted. Cheese on whopper jr was cold and not melted. Either quality or placement of the cheese in the burger or the patty was not hot! #disappointed
Waited 5 minutes for ordering service with me being the only one in line. Porsha the cashier was one of the rudest cashier's I have ever encountered. She did not greet me at all. I waited 20 minutes for my food, someone who ordered their food after me got their order first. When I asked Porsha why I waited for 20 minutes. She said it hasn't been 20 minutes and just turned away. I recommend staying away from this place.
The service is slow, there is no teamwork. Everybody is standing at their station but nobody's is Expediting orders I have gone there twice in the past week. On Monday I ordered a Whopper and two cheeseburgers with extra pickles and mustard. It took 30 minutes to get my food. It wasn't crowded so there was no excuse. There was no communication going on between anyone and orders backed up by the time I left there were 15 people waiting for their food delays were up to 30 minutes. Today a simple order of 3 cheeseburgers to 25 minutes. Again I noted lack of communication and lack of team leadership. I even saw the cashier ago from his register to serving food without washing his hands.
I was over charged for my breakfast burrito meal this morning. I ordered a diet soda rather than a coffee with my meal. So first the person at the cash register didn't know how to do this so the manager had to come and work the cash register, they ended up charging me for a full meal, plus an extra charge for the hash browns plus an extra charge for the soda. I asked why and thy kept saying because I wanted a medium size even though I just wanted a soda rather than coffee! Then to top it off my burrito was cold. so bad service, bad food and over charged. I'll be going back to McDonalds for my breakfast in the future.
I went to this place to try out BK's chicken sandwich to see how it stacked up to competitors. The "sandwich" they served me was COMPLETELY INEDIBLE. The breading was so rock-hard that I nearly broke my teeth trying to take a first bite. It was so hard, I couldn't physically chew the damned thing and wound up chucking it in the trash. I've had bad food before, but I've never been served inedible food. I'm not the kind of guy who writes reviews, but this was so astonishly bad. What the hell? How is this place in business?
Every time Ive given this BK a chance, they are a disappointment. Im currently stuck in line 2 cars deep because its taken no joke 15 minutes for them to get food to this car ahead of us and theres no end in sight. Half the time we order from here its not even correct. Do yourself a favor and just never give this a chance. Go somewhere else, literally anywhere else. I don't even know why I thought to come here again.

Rude person taking orders, impatient, got order wrong. Happy meal did not come with apples and they got milk choice wrong and we didnt receive any. No ice cream. You would think they would have kept their better employees. Will go to McDonalds from now on
Unfortunately, this BK doesn't not adhere to its own schedule. Often has a drive thru line waitntime of 20 mins and very disappointing customer service interaction. It is consistently this bad. Food is decent considering, but this place needs an overhaul.
Rude, Hostile, Impolite, Disrespectful, Arrogant, Inhospitable…the list goes on! Man, this place needs to get new managers and re-evaluate their employees because every single time I walk in this place the workers, especially the managers, are incredibly rude! I've never experienced anything like it before! They are arrogant and disrespectful every time. Forget about referencing the store’s website, because the website or anything online, does not coincide with what they actually do. They open and close whenever they feel like it, so don't rely on listed hours. One time in the AM they were there inside, but the doors were locked. They didn't open the doors until two hours after they were actually supposed to. When asked why they said “it’s too scary.” So, they make customers wait until they're not scared to open. Whoever is supposed to be checking on this restaurant should be fired, because they are not doing their job and running their own show. Obviously, they are taking advantage because they know no one cares. They definitely win the award for, “Worst Restaurant Employees” in ALL of Alameda, that is FOR SURE! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Food was decent however the employee at the counter didn't even acknowledge me standing there when I'm the only customer in the store for at least three or four minutes. All I asked is: "why does not receipt not have a survey code"? She replied: " oh that receipt doesn't have the code at the bottom you have to have a receipt that has the code". Very dissatisfied it seems too good to be true to be able to get a free Whopper by doing a brief survey when I'm not provided information to complete such survey.
This would be the third time I have tried to go here in the morning before 730. The lights are on the brand. New fancy screens are working, and you can see the workers literally walking to the back to hide. I get it, no one wants to work early in the morning, but what kind of management lets this happen routinely? This location needs to be closed at breakfast time if not permanently.
Restaurant is closed. Wish I knew that before putting in my online order. I can't go through the drive thru because I drive a tall van. There's no customer service, no one is answering the phone; I bought this through Cashapp, so I guess im fucked.
In a bit of a hurry stopped bought Coke French fries. Walked to my car and opened lunch. The burger and fries were cold. Now, this was less than 3 minutes after I was handed my lunch.The burger was cold to warm, fries were cold, coke ? How can any one mess up a coke. I sat there fuming and dumped food only and fed the crows. I threw all papers products in the trash. Your place sucks I’ll never step foot in another Burger King. Ever!!
Tried ordering through the app just around 8:30pm. After i got charged, the app errored out and I had no conf number. Only a charge to my card. Ok cool… i still want a burger so try to go in but doors are locked. Ok great! The drive through line is much shorter…will try there. Nobody at the comm box so I wait. After several minutes, i just reverse out the drive through cuz cars are stuck waiting in front of me so i cant go forward. Im just gonna contest the charge on my credit card and i never did get a burger. I went home and had cereal and an ice cream sandwich instead.
Unfortunately I'd have to say the quality of performance at this particular BK store has decreased. The orders are never correct anymore, whether you asked for something to be modified or deleted for the food item. This is even when you place emphasis or repeat your order for confirmation, but it still doesn't seem to work. When you ask for an addition, it's a very skimpy amount like next to none. Additionally, it's difficult to justify making these consistent mistakes when you're not busy, because these mistakes more likely to be made during peak traffic.
Over the weekend I decided to get some Burger King through the drive through. I gave my order to someone who could barely speak English. I told them what burger I wanted. I asked for a medium fries. I got to the window I received a whopper with fries. Usually they will ask you would you like to make that a combo. You know doing their job but I thought nothing of it because you get a whopper & fries you’re going to want a drink. The worker didn’t speak English well tried to make me purchase a drink. She didn’t know how to cancel and redo the order. She called the young girl manager who was very rude. Saying that she did ask me for a combo when she didn’t. Once you order the burger the ask if you would like to make it a combo. If they forget to ask and here you order fries they ask would you like to make it a combo. The little manager was totally out of line yelling and cursing to a customer about a worker who obviously doesn’t speak good English. I would never go back there ever. Horrible customer service.
"have it your way" as far as I remember is Burger kings "iconic" motto. Apparently it is now "have it your way" as long as the cashier feels like it. This is no joke as to me "my way" having lots of ketchup to dip both my burger and fries in. As a matter of fact this has been how I have eaten burgers since I was a child its so engrained in me that I enjoy my burger less when I don't get enough ketchup. I had asked for ketchup after ordering fries and 2 double cheeseburger. Upon the cashier only giving me 5 packets I had asked for more in which she said quote "I feel like that's enough" I was so irritated I just drove away when in reality I wanted to say if thats so I would like to return my food I had ordered as I do not enjoy my meal with out having enough dipping sauce to do so. I know it's burger king and can't really expect me but I think . it's time they change their motto if this is what they are telling people upon recoeving request. Ketchup packets are being treated like gold at this location.
My order was made wrong on several different visits, and for some reason they literally do not salt their fries. Every single visit they refuse to salt their fries. I'm not sure if they've tasted their own food but you have to season your food. This isn't grandma Ethel's bland kitchen, it's fast food. And my cheat day at work got cheated both of flavor and correct items.
The little guy that works there was standing on top of where the fries are scooped out, to reach something in the overhead. When he got down they did not clean the surface he was standing on, and continued to prepare food over it. I asked the cashier if they were going to clean it and she said to me in very broken English "I don't understand" I and the lady behind me walked out. Next time when you wonder where that hair came from in your French fries.
Today is Friday March 12 2021 I came to buy something at 3:55 the girls only said hi and they kept looking at their phone. My question is are they getting paid to see their phones or help the customers. I was the only one there to order. Bad customer service and its not the first time. This is NOT an "EGG-Normous" breakfast burrito! I got it home and opened it to add some picante sauce I had at home. THERE IS NO BACON OR SAUSAGE! Instead I found lettuce, tomato and onion that I had to pick out of it! It did not look that fresh either. The lady at the drive through window must've grabbed the wrong order and I was the only one going through the drive through! Btw, the lady told me to not linger at the window while I was trying to put my change away, but no cars were behind me! Maybe she *knew* she gave me the wrong order?! ALWAYS check your order before you leave the window people! Better yet, go inside and order at the counter and as you wait for it watch them assemble it FRESH right there! Safer that way. This visit is experienced as slacker customer service and unacceptable passing off of a *not* fresh and incorrect order, that may have been a reject return from another customer that they pretty much threw at me! I will NOT go though drive thru at this place again!
