This place is awesome. I called about 45 minutes ahead because I had a group of 14. Not only did they accommodate us, but the service, and food was top notch. The table was ready when we arrived with glasses of water along with chips and salsa already on the table. Food came out quick, hot, and tasted great. Thanks, we will see you next time.

Verily, the tang of spices and the subtle hint of chili were as a gentle breeze on a summer's eve—refreshing and invigorating. Pray, allow me to share with thee the glory of a simple yet splendid dish: the cheese quesadilla. Upon first glance, one might deem it unassuming, a mere humble pairing of warm tortilla and melting cheese. But, I assure thee, beneath this modest exterior lies a culinary delight that doth merit high praise. The atmosphere at this restaurant is warm, vibrant, and inviting. The colorful decor, lively and friendly staff create an authentic and welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy delicious food, and soak in the festive ambiance.

Great place to eat Mexican food when you are in Globe or passing through from Show Low/Mountains. This trip I brought my 90 yr old Dad up with me to visit some gravesites and go eat Mexican food which is always a ritual with my family. (We love to eat out especially Mexican food). Irene's Restaurant was very clean including the bathrooms. Place was decorated cute with colorful flowers, and service was excellent. Jennifer, our super friendly server, was right on top of evening that we needed and even brought 2 boxes and bags for our leftovers and chips to take home too. The music that was playing was pretty good too. Some country, some new music but overall good, happy music. We will definitely recommend this place to others and we will be back soon!

Got the combination plate, número 10. Taco, enchilada, chili relleno, rice and beans. Food was a little slow to come out, but that's expected when the place is bumping. Would definitely come here and try something the next time we travel through Globe.

The portion size of a combination platter was just right for my wife and I to share. Everything was cooked well and the flavors were as expected.

We did not care for the rice. The beans tasted like they came out of a can. There’s no way they serve canned beans there, but they sure captured the taste. Though our waitress was nice, she was unavailable anytime we needed her. We had to ask for everything we needed. Now that the negative stuff is out of the way, we loved the green chile. My wife loved the tacos. The cheese crisp was probably the best I’ve ever had. We loved the chips. My wife loved the salsa, but I did not. There’s something sweet in a lot of the salsas in the Globe/Miami area. I don’t like it. But that’s just a personal preference. We met the owner as we were leaving. She could not have been more gracious. I know what I like there now, so we will definitely be back. They just need to work on attentiveness by the wait staff. If they get this figured out, I will change it to five stars.

Visited yesterday, we placed an order online tru door dash for pickup since we gonna visit San Carlos & white mountain and its breeze free we found cheaper to order tru door dash and I dunno why.. food are good, so bad I placed it and soak the food for an hour I'm sure it tasted good when its fresh from the kitchen .. portions are good we have: ▪︎3 beef taco ▪︎steak & shrimp (4pcs) - i havnt thought the shrimp gonna be breaded. i thought it's like fried in the butter like surf & turf.. ▪︎mexican rice Verdict: Yes we will come back and try other food

Nice looking place although there is no "Mexican" vibe, service not so good. Wasn't busy at all and our server mostly ignored us. She came by, we said we were done and never saw her again. Apparently you have to go to the cashier to pay (we didn't get a check at the table). She never mentioned it and there were no signs indicating that. A table runner let us know. Server seemed put out when I asked if there were any dishes without meat (the menu is not clear on this)-she offered a vegan menu. Food was mediocre, presentation was messy as the plate (large) was completely covered with beans and rice and the quesadillas were hiding underneath all, and there was a tiny bit of sad, limp lettuce as garnish (I guess).

I’m not sure about the food yet, but my husband put in a phone order. I went there to pick it up and they said they did not have an order under that name. I was about to order again and realized that we would not have enough time to put it in again. I questioned them several times. There’s a younger girl working there who found the order in on another counter where she put it. She then proceeded to lie to my face and say that it was misinterpreted as Anthony, which did not resemble the name at all in the least little bit. The Anthony order was right there on the counter. That person came in or it when I was standing there. Then I wasn’t sure whether or not I should trust the food. No I don’t know if this has anything to do with the restaurant at all. I think it might have more to do with the psychopathy that is emerging in our culture currently. And completely accepted by the latest generation. Addendum; when we got over to our hotel room; we were dismayed to find that there was no silverware included in the to go order bag. So we waited to eat the food until the next morning when the breakfast utensils were available

I paid $19.53 for one taco, one cheese enchilada, and chips and guacamole. The first thing of quac I was given is shown in the picture. I then had to pay an additional $6 for guac to go with the chips. The guac was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. Food was mediocre at best. Unsure how it equals $20 though.
