Guayo's El Rey Miami Reviews
First timer. That being said, I'll not hesitate to stop by again when I'm in the area. Service is great, fast and friendly. Food was really good, fresh and hot. Outstanding small town Mexican.
Fantastic food and service was awesome. Whenever I have the opportunity, I will definitely be back to this tucked away gem!
I'm new to the area, I've been trying various restaurants, but my favorite cuisine is Mexican food. I have to admit, this place was by far my favorite so far. Kudos. Excellent, promt service. Flour and corn chips served with two different salsas, both were very tasty. And the meal, perfect, good size portions and delicious. Pricing was reasonable. I definitely found my favorite Mexican food here.
The flour chips were fresh along with the salsa, the green chili chicken enchilada delicious. Servers friendly and ready to assist. The only con is there is a wait for the food to be served, highly recommend!
Globe-Miami has the best Mexican food restaurants in the state and this place is our family's favorite. Consistently great food & service!
This is the best restaurant in Globe AZ ; they have two sauces mild and hot as dips, chips ; and the best steak with potatoes ; the atmosphere is great and no matter how busy they are, you never wait for long ; the people here are really nice . I have strict diet and they are always agreeable about my needs , something not very common in restaurants anywhere, and that’s how I know their food is fresh, not precooked .
Food and service was great! Chips and salsa amazing! They have a room to accommodate large party’s. Stopped after a day at the lake it was a great little fund will definitely go back
Food was good. Very hot. Chips are homemade and tasty. They had a mild and hot salsa at the table. Hot wasn't the hottest I've had but did have a kick. Would recommend.
Fantastic, Family Owned and Operated Mexican Restaurant. Traditional menu but with that unmistakable Globe/Miami flare of delicious. We started with delicious and unique chips (mixed fried flour and corn chips) and salsa (unique mix of spices, texture, and heat). I paired a house marg with tajin and then had a red and green (1/2 and 1/2) colorado plate with r/b. Fantastic! I think they are consistently busy so be sure to get there with time to wait. Tip: Great stop on your to/from Show Low area. Salud
Nice rustic restaurant in the small town of Miami. Great food, Good prices. Great service. Every time I go to Miami/Globe, for anything, I make a point to eat here. And I almost always get some food to go. I love having a nice big red chili burro to put in the fridge for the next day. If you like Mexican food, do yourself a favor. OH, I almost forgot. The FLOUR chips that are in with the regular chips that they bring to the table for you to munch on while waiting for your food, are AWESOME. The corn chips are good, but the flour chips....they're my favorite.
First time in this Miami and it was wonderful. My grandson got the typical tenders and fries and he loved it. They bring you chips and salsa to the table before you order. He actually ate more chips than his meal. I ordered a taco, enchilada and burro which I believe is the number 6 combination. I could only eat the taco and burro. My grandson helped me with that burro. I ended up bringing the enchilada home. I also ordered the cheese crisp and a small chips and salsa to take home. All of that plus 2 drinks was a little over $30. I finally found a really good authentic restaurant but it's probably a good thing that it's 70+ miles out of Phoenix. If you're traveling through Miami or Globe, this is an awesome place to eat. I went on a Sunday and they had street parking available.
We came in with very high expectations given all the stellar reviews, and were not disappointed. The flavors in everything were absolutely delicious. I wanted to bring all the enchilada sauce and hot salsa home with me! Will definitely be back next time we come through the area. Oh and the service was great. The place was pretty hopping even at 3:30 pm on a Saturday and filled up quickly over the hour we were there. We got combos. One was enchilada, relleno, and taco. The other was burrito, enchilada, and taco.
OMG AMAZING!!! We drove from Casa Grande because it was recommended by a local there. Extremely grateful for their suggestion. Great salsa. 2 different kinds of fresh chips that were great. The cheese enchiladas and chicken tacos were very good. The other meal was combo #8 Chile verde with rice and beans. This meal was also fabulous and the meat in the chile verde was very good as well. The place was spotless clean and they were even cleaning g the salt and pepper shakers. Very positive to actually see this happen with the pandemic. All staff were wearing masks too. Thank you for all you do, your place is AMAZING!!
The absolute best chips and salsa. The green chile has abundant pork meat and is perfectly spicy. Service could be better, sometimes slow especially while paying where you have to go to the counter to pay.
Food and salsa were good. The tacos and the beef enchiladas didn't have much meat in them at all, but the chili was good. Our server did a great job. Everyone had a smile and was friendly. The bathroom was nice, and the establishment was clean. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you are in the area.
