Complimenti a tutti...

Excellent wine cellar, with the option of lunch/dinner in their snack bar, which to call it that is a bit of an understatement. Excellent dishes with very balanced and refined flavors. Perdonale is very kind and helpful. Very good wines, the Luis and the Barolo Chinato are definitely worth trying. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

We had the opportunity to visit this wonderful place by booking with Smartbox, including a tasting with a tour of the cellar, followed by lunch. We loved both the location and the overall atmosphere. Excellent wines. The owners are young and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend it!!!

The @carlindepaolo winery, located in a picturesque area between Monferrato Roero and Langa, offers a high-quality line of products. The top-of-the-line #briccodellacappelletta stands out for its uniqueness, pleasantness, appeal, and elegance. Davide, one of the five brothers, accompanied us on an interesting tour of the cellar, barrel room, vineyards, special vault, and small museum (depicting how wine was once made). The snack bar offers an excellent selection of dishes paired with local wines. Strategically located is the trailer that Red Ronnie used on his Roxy Bar tour.

Lorenzo is a brilliant chef. And the location is no exception. Let me start with a premise: I'm from Maremma, and for me, anything that resembles a tortello is sacred. This is the Asti area, where agnolotti are typical. The agnolotti, I assure you, are handmade with an incredible quality filling! I get a 9.5! The Fassona beef tartare, enhanced with unique aromatic sauces, did the rest. And the sparkling wine they produce? I bought a bottle (at a more than fair price). The location is bright, spacious, and light, and what struck me was the modern yet unobtrusive design applied to a structure that recalls the historic agricultural buildings of the Roero. If you're passing through the areas of Ferrere, San Damiano D'Asti, Cisterna D'Asti, and Canale, you can't miss eating here!

A beautiful place nestled in the hills where the food is truly delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the owners personally check in on their customers' satisfaction. The tour of the cellars where the wine is produced is very interesting!

They gave us a voucher for a winery tour, tasting, and a full menu, and I have to say it was a wonderful surprise. The place is a bit "commercial," and even the wine production seems heavily marketing-focused. However, the wines are truly top-notch, and the restaurant service is meticulous. The dishes are plentiful and everything is delicious. The value for money is also a strong point. A wonderful discovery, and we'll be returning soon! An entrée, 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, and dessert were €35. I can't say how much the tasting menu cost because it was a gift.

We used the "sins of gluttony" Smartbox and were truly thrilled with the experience and the welcome. After the tour of the cellar, we were able to taste four wines (Terre Alfieri Arneis, Barbera d'Asti Superiore, Terre Alfieri Nebbiolo Superiore, Cisterna D'Asti Superiore) with a generous platter of cured meats and cheeses, water, and breadsticks, all included. They looked after us kindly and without rushing us, dedicating time just for the two of us.

This small-medium sized, family-run winery is very welcoming, and the staff was amazing! A tour of the winery included a detailed explanation, a tasting of four glasses (two whites and two reds), water, breadsticks, and a platter of cured meats and cheeses. Plus, you can have lunch for just €35 per person or split the set menu between two people. The set menu included: four appetizers (Fassona beef tartare with hazelnuts, bell peppers with tuna and anchovy mousse, seared octopus, and leek tart with fondue), two first courses (risotto with pears, Gorgonzola, and cisterna, agnolotti), dessert (a taste of tiramisu and almond mousse covered in white chocolate), water, breadsticks, and coffee. Simply amazing, and everything was delicious! 🥰

A very well-kept location nestled in the greenery of the Piedmont hills. The young staff is organized and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a tasting with a tour of the cellar, which was very well explained and very interesting. The history of this "new" place is unique. This vineyard's signature wine is called Cisterna, unique in the area for its unique production. With the tasting, they offered a platter of local products and four wines for €20 each. For lunch, there's a fixed menu for €35, excluding drinks, including two appetizers, two first courses, and dessert. You can also add a second course à la carte. Highly recommended for a Sunday outing and a fine wine tasting.

Friendliness, professionalism, and good wine and more were the hallmarks of this tasting. Clear and passionate explanations made us appreciate the tour of the winery and the wine tasting even more. A fantastic and welcoming location, brimming with life, events, and initiatives. The teamwork is truly admirable, and is certainly a great strength. Compliments

The two of us went with a Smartbox: I've never experienced such a welcome. We took a virtually private tour of the winery, with an explanation of every detail of the production and bottling site, and we had the opportunity to wander around the vineyards a bit (too bad it was raining). During the simple tasting (four glasses and a platter, with plenty of bread and breadsticks), we decided to stay for lunch. The snack bar generally offers a fixed menu for €35 and one for €45: the first includes four appetizers, two first courses, dessert, coffee, water, and a cover charge. The second includes a choice of two main courses. They also offer a selection of delicious wines to pair with your meal for €12. They were also very helpful, letting us finish the tasting wines during lunch. We met two of the brothers, Davide, who manages the winery, and Lorenzo, who runs the snack bar. Both were very friendly and stopped by occasionally to ask how we were getting on. And the girl who showed us the winery was also super helpful and answered all our questions (PS: visit the winery, it's very unique). They also offer e-bike excursions (rent from them) or beautiful spots for picnics among the vineyards; check out their website or call! Definitely a place to return to, but with more company! 😍 And maybe on a sunny day, where you can enjoy the outdoors!

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Piemonte with friendly staff. Very high quality of the ingredients and fine wines. Piedmontese dishes with a unique touch of the outstanding chef Lorenzo Ponte. Delicious vegan options available if you tell them in advance.

Called in advance to see if we could try a tasting, we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the vineyard along with the history of the family. Really nice people and a cool facility. Tasting was great, paired with Home prepared food, the service was fantastic and the wine exceptional. Must visit if you are in the area, the 2 brother who are head winemakers came out to introduce themselves as we were doing the tasting.

Kind, welcoming... a winery tour and lunch!!! The winery is beautiful, small, and very well-kept. Good food accompanied by a selection of wines to match the dishes. We were very satisfied, and compliments to all the staff.

Very nice winery. Friendly staff and interesting tour of the cellar. Good food, although I have my doubts about the effectiveness of the set menu; it's excellent but too heavy and poorly balanced.
