One of the best pizzas around if you like wood fired and they got great specialty pizzas.

If you can just crisp up your crust a little, but other than that, wings are chunky with meat, pizza sauce amazing.

My coworkers and I order some pizza & wings recently and it was great. Guess I'll be driving from Buffalo to Grand island to get great pizza for now on.

I've had a lot of food from here and every time it is always on point and very very flavorful. The staff are very professional aswell. I highly recommend to anyone looking for flavorful food.

This is REAL TRUE Brick Oven pizza, people! None of that renovated Pizza Hut oven stuff here. Your pizza is ready in a flash, and they have several signature varieties on the menu to try out (my personal favorite is "The Godfather") or just order a traditional cheese & pepperoni. We stop in for pizza every time we're on Grand Island.

I stopped at the food truck. Ordered "The Godfather ". The pizza was delicious and cooked to perfection. I did not realize there was an actual restaurant and was thrilled to learn I can get these tasty pies any day!

I grabbed up one of these fabulous pizza's using Doordash and I'm hooked. The possibilities are endless for toppings. The flavor of the Wood Fire is magical. I wish the doosdash app offered drinks (soda) that somehow was over looked. Either way if I'm impressed by "anything" that's rare and trust me I'm impressed. Someone said a Rubin Pizza and omg count me in!

This place is AMAZING!!!!!! The pizza.. the wings.. which are also wood fired (to die for) and the CANNOLI PIZZA. You can either build your own or choose from their specialty pizzas. Let me just tell you now.. get the Chicken wing Pizza. It has chicken wing dip on it and then smothered in cheese.. best chicken wing pizza I’ve ever had! For dessert we tried the cannoli pizza, weren’t really sure what to expect but we are GLAD we choose this! Pizza crust, topped with cannoli filling, crumbled cannoli pieces, and the caramel drizzle. I have never seen anything like it. Beyond recommend this place!

First time trying this place so I ordered the pepperoni pizza and white pizza. Great flavor for both pizzas and a nice change from traditional pizza. I will definitely give them another try!

This place is DELICIOUS!! It is a little on the pricey side for pizza, but I haven't had a pizza this good outside of Hamburg NY. The owner is in the place often and he is super nice! I love it here.

I was in buffalo last month, and I tried this Pizza, it was absolutely delicious, the guys at the truck were very nice, Great people and great customer service.

We ordered The Dave and it was the best pizza ever! All the ingredients from the tasty peppadews to the meats and other toppings made it the most delicious pizza.

Sweet sauce is the best. Little pricey but because it's not your average slice!!!!! I follow them to their events since I don't come to the island much. Come to the south towns!!!!

OK: no gas station-food jokes about this TRULY terrific wood oven-fired pizza, but the physical location is in a gas station! It's nearly, cleanly separated, and the location is unimportant because most customers get the pizza to go. We discovered this award-winning pizza @ an outdoor concert, where their food truck housed an actual wood oven. The pizza is superb, with very fresh and generous toppings. The staff are personable. There's even an old school video game to play while you wait. Bravo!

So on June 22 ordered food and it wasn’t good at all called up spoke to someone they apologized over and over and said give us another chance. So I did ordered last night everything was spot on it was awesome they comped my whole order and made things right. So glad I gave them another shot thank you so Much for remembering me and taking care of my order. The owner that I talked to was so nice too. while i do not believe this company cares about its customers like i feel like they should, there food is some of the best quality on the island. there customer service isnt satisfying but if your looking for good food then stop in, while i personally will no longer do business here I can appreciate quality ingredients. The owner generally is a great guy along with his wife and his daughter is a good friend. I hope some day we as a whole will see eye to eye again. But if your on the island and want GOOD pizza not BLAND then this is the place to go.

Pizza Amore is one of the best pizzerias on the Island. I think the fact that it shares its location with a gas station deters some people from visiting. At lest that's what I thought for a while before I really realized there some of the best to do it. I called to order a pizza and when I realized I wouldn't be able to make it downtown in time, I called to cancel the order, but instead, they made my pizza a priority and told me it would be ready in time. I can't think of any other place that would do something like that, most places seem bothered that you actually want to eat there food. I've never had a bad slice from here. If you like Dill Pickles, try the Big Dill, it will change your life!

Where to begin? The pizza is absolutely perfect! Two different sauces, lots of toppings to choose from, baked in a wood fired oven. This is what pizza should be. Wings are also baked in the oven instead of deep fried, maybe not quite the traditional Buffalo way, but offers a bit of a less greasy experience. Multiple sauces are available, you'll definitely find a few new favorites. Staff is always friendly, service is quick.

Oh my I hope I have enough space to make this recommendation. Dave and Diana and their team are wonderful. They catered my daughters graduation party. I had to have Gluten free food. Diana went above and beyond to make gluten free pasta and homemade meatballs. Not to mention the gluten free wood fire pizza is amazing. The rest of my family couldn’t stop their comments on how amazing the rest of the food is. If you are looking for a caterer for an event check out Pizza Amore’. Perfect place for lunch or dinner! Menu has ingenious ideas that are so unique and well done. There are special seasonal items that are posted on social media that you really must try (these items are not on the menu). I got the reuben pizza which was one of the best pizzas I have ever gotten. The crust was a little thin but fluffy. Toppings were perfectly cooked and very tasty. I'll definitely be coming back!

Ordered for the first time..website was easy to navigate, ordered two personal size pizzas and BBQ wings. Everything was absolutely delicious! We love wood fired pizza and always wished there was a place in North Tonawanda.I would Highly recommend Pizza Amore and will definitely be back again...and again...and again!

Just my opinion but they have become my favorite pizza not just on the Island but in the area. My kids and I grab a cheese pie with traditional sauce every Friday and it never disappoints. Highly recommend if your passing by the area.

We're camping for the first time in Grand Island and wanted some pizza and wings. After reading reviews of the local places we ordered from Pizza Amore. One of the things that attracted me was the Wood Fired wings, and boy were they good. The Pizza was good as well.. I would recommend giving it a try and we also used Uber Eats....

Super neat joint came in here with my work crew for the day to grab a quick bite to eat & everyone behind the counter from the nice lady to the cool Dude with the hat were super nice/professional I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or passing through grand island you won't be disappointed.

Amazing pizza- I recommend "the big dill" if you're going gourmet, but the cheese and pep was also incredible! I usually feel yucky after engorging on pizza and wings, I didn't get that at all with Pizza Amore.. will definitely be back (often lol)

Hands down my favorite restaurant in North tonawanda. The staff goes above and beyond for their customers and are always super friendly. Food is always on point. The Brooklyn specialty pizza and garlic knots with sweet sauce are my go to's!

The pizza is amazing! So many to choose from also. I'm on grand island, NY (near Buffalo, NY) 5-6 times a year and I try to hit Pizza Amore every time. We were at the men's basketball NCAA tourney and went here just for the pizza.

We had an issue with the Uber Eats driver (they left our food at the wrong house snd on the ground in the rain!). I called to advise of the issue in case the driver caused problems with other orders and said I would be fine just reheating the pizza we found down the street at a neighbors home. But Pizza Amore made it right! They immediately remade our entire order and delivered it to our door! We ALWAYS love the pizza. Its the best on the island for sure. Different flavors like Dill Pickle with ranch are amazing. But today was proof it's the service and pride that keep us coming back!

Updated review June 2025: We went to the physical location today. It’s a take-out place in a gas station, not a restaurant. We didn’t realize that and were caught off-guard, but the pizza was still delicious! I’ll be on the lookout for their pizza trucks at events but likely won’t return to the physical location again. Original review August 2024: My mom and I tried their pizza at the Lewiston Jazz Festival today. It was delicious! Love the crust and wood-fired char flavor. We tried the White Broccoli pie and the Regular White pie. Both were delicious. They had a great system in order at their tent and were getting the pizzas out quickly to everyone.

Twice a year my company hires food trucks for an lol employee event and we decided to have Pizza Amore back. They showed up early to get the preorders for our customer service staff taken care of first and they did an excellent job with entertaining us and great conversation to our staff. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. We were impressed that they had the pizza coming out of the oven so fast and down to perfection. I recommend everyone try them out. My favorite was the calzone pizza!

Ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza and it was great! I called about 15 minutes before they closed and wasn't sure if I'd have time to stop in but the woman was super nice on the phone and I was able to get my order in! Once I got in there the woman who cashed me out was super friendly and I was happy to hear they would bring my pizza out to my car so I didn't have to wait inside! The pizza was great and I'm so glad I could try out a new local place (NT location)! Can't wait to try more of their delicious looking combos/creations!

We were pleasantly surprised with an incredible menu, friendly staff and very clean restaurant. This is done it the absolute best pizza I've ever had and we definitely plan on coming back. The Italian stallion, barbeque chicken, and 716 were perfectly cooked and left us wishing we had more. I cant wait to eat here again. Edit: 2 years later and we finally made it back here on a family trip. Same great quality of food. We weren't disappointed in the least! This pizza is amazing, you won't regret it. Try the s'more log. It is as delicious as it is messy, the kids loved it!

When they get the order right, the food is good. Half the time we have have gotten a pizza from here, it's the wrong order.

The pizza was pretty good. The salad was uninspired, but had a lot of protein on it. They were out of most dressings. I liked the pizza sauce and thought it was well cheesed.

Food is awesome. I did have a strange experience while picking up my order. I was asked to wait outside while 2 men waited inside. While I sat outside a 3rd man went in and was allowed to wait inside. I found this to be very odd.

When I say that was some of the best pizza I had in a long time. It was absolutely delicious and the customer service was great. Glad I decided to order from there when we randomly stopped. They even was nice enough to allow us to put up our missing person poster. Thank you

Every year I have to get this pizza from the Erie county Fair. There's always a line for it and even though they're so busy, and they're working under those conditions of high temperatures plus having those ovens going, the guy (I think it's the owner because he said it's his family that's making the pizzas), is so friendly and patient, he's just a really nice guy and it's a pleasure to deal with him. The pizzas are always great, we've been eating them since they first opened.

Good food. Takeout order should be reviewed before you leave as it has most often been wrong or incomplete. It's located in a petrol station so atmosphere is non-existent. The photo is from a recent order where the normal menu salad had half a pound, or more, of feta on it. I thought maybe I was being pranked when I saw all the cheese on a normal Greek salad.

I frequent this place at the fair, local events, and when I am in grand island. This place is a different take on the traditional Buffalo style pizza which is refreshing as something different from time to time. It is a rather thin with a charred crust. They took a bold approach to the sauce which is among the more spicy I have had which appeals to me but may not for those who prefer a sweeter variety. The cheese is high quality and not overpowering like some places. The pepperoni while tasty and name brand could be improved by fresh slicing it. The wait times often can be lengthy for mobile stand personal pizzas. While I appreciate the bake to order freshness and would not change that, perhaps simplifying the menu a bit could improve times. The workers are always very friendly and attentive. Prices are very fair.

The pizza was not what I expected. After reading some reviews I should have tried the wood fire pizza .. I cant find good pizza on the island. I was told they use top of the line products here. I can’t tell I guess.. not too impressed. Of course when you are used to great pizza like Bocce, Mineos, and of course La Nova what can u expect. Nobody on the island can beat them.

First time ordering, the website states they open at 3pm when you call the answering machine message states they open at 4 between March and April, it's May. Finally got an answer around 3:30. Ordered the half sheet and 20wings BBQ/hot, along with 3 cannolis. Went to pick up the order waited an extra 20 minutes because they were out of BBQ and ended up getting med/hot. Got home and only had 2 cannolis. What an unfortunate experience but overall food was good and staff was pleasant.

Great pizza. Location is a t a gas station but great for take out... i however would not recommend the gluten free crust it was expensive and awful....ruined the whole pizza 25.00 in the garbage.

I guess it must be an "acquired " taste. A Fritomann review. We came to Grand Island on a vacation stopover and we were thinking about pizza and wings for pick up. Had to be able to find the location first of all. Then we ordered and paid up front on the appp. I drove over to Grand Island Blvd and found the pizza oven doing business inside the gas station. What? Seriously. They do a good business there and they ain't cheap. Fritomann will definitely try another pizza joint next time.

Pizza was just alright. I was really hoping after reading the reviews that it was gonna be amazing, but was pretty let down. It has so much cheese on it that it’s all you can taste. We had a pickup order and after talking to the cashier, paying, and waiting 5 minutes, my husband asked if it was ready. The cashier than walked to the hot cabinet and pulled it out. It was sitting there since he walked in. 🙃🙃

Be sure to give them a buffer as the food is never ready when they say it will be. The food itself was good though!

Good pizza, extremely overpriced. Paid 10.33 for a "small" pizza. Aka a personal pan that's about the size of a momma Celeste from tops which is a dollar and change.

First time ordering, and I wanted it to be amazing and our new go to pizza place on the island. No such luck. Ordered cheese and pepperoni pizza, pizza had no pepperoni. The salad was great, but the balsamic dressing was so harsh, it was inedible. $27.00 down the drain. Guess we're still searching...

I ordered two party trays to feed my friends that helped me move into my new house. The bottom of the pizza was covered in a thick layer of flower, it was overcooked on one half and under done on the other half. 34$ for a tray of pizza is also over priced in my opinion, especially for how poorly prepared it was.

Quite overrated and unfortunate service. I have tried to give this place a try several times. I just can’t appreciate their cuisine or style. I Stopped in with my toddler today, and was told by the manager’s daughter that essentially, this isn’t a family place and she laughed at me when I asked specifics about their family-oriented ness. There were about 6 staff working and chatting, I could hear private conversations, which wasn’t great for the atmosphere. I know their pizza is pretty good, and the salads are great for the value, however condiments are unbalanced which really ruins them; the salads would be better if they took this critique. I ordered Dave’s special for chicken fingers and all I could taste was salt. Just not thought through… Their menu is limited, they don’t take (or appreciate) special requests for orders in my past experience, and don’t go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. I will not be returning for several reasons and suggest you try a pizza place/ restaurant that actually has mozzarella sticks.

My wife and I have been wondering about this place for awhile. Hearing better reviews than not; tonight we tried their Detroit Pizza and their award winning Galbani Amore'. Overall the pizza taste itself was good. Friendly service, neat and tidy establishment. However, The Galbani Amore' was burnt to a char half way around the pizza. Picking the burnt parts off, seeing if it was edible underneath didn't result in success. So, I gave the number of stars that I did because, being a business owner myself, I don't and would never serve a finished product to my clients that I myself wouldn't want. I also think that I too should have taken a look at the pizza prior to assuming we'd be getting a product we'd actually want. Also, navigating through their website to order isn't all that flexible. Options are restricted to a firm guideline of what they will create and make. This is another reason why "tipping" these days has lost the value of why a service is granted gratuity in the first place. It shouldn't be an option prior to the service being completed. So, because of these things I have rated Pizza Amore' a below average rating because I think most everything from this experience could have been better. Mildly disappointed and probably won't go back.

Stopped in for a sub, the meat was left out to get cold, took forever. The heavy set older guy was picking his nose and not using gloves walking back and forth to dress a pizza. When we mentioned about the meat getting cold the heavy guy said, "that's how it comes".

This place is terrible. Ordered from there last week and my steak sub and salad both tasted like fish. Disgusting. Called and they did refund my money but let me know they also thought something was up w the steak but they still put it out. Most people on the island avoid this place and I know why.

Ordered my food online pick up time was a half hour after I ordered. Went at the designated time to pick up my order. Food wasn’t ready. Was told I should have received a message saying they pushed my order back a half hour. Never received anything stating that. I asked if they even started my order and they said no. I said cancel my order I don’t have time to wait since I was on my lunchtime. I asked about getting a refund and I was told she would when she has time. What kind of answer is that. First and last time ever ordering from here. I have already reached out to my credit card letting them know what is going on. Hopefully the credit shows up if not in a few days I will be disputing it.
