Chicken Express Grapevine Reviews
This location has been recently renovated and added cornhole and giant connect 4. The manager has taken this Chicken Express to a much higher level of service and quality then it has ever been before.
Love this location! The best service and the quality is always amazing! The employees are always friendly and helpful too ❤️
Came here because of the reviews! Its a must when visiting Great Wolf. Save some $ and get some delicious tenders! Try the spicy tenders too! 😋
Chicken Express in Grapevine (Northwest Hwy) catered an event for us and every single thing about it was excellent! JC is such a consciousness & service oriented manager! His service really took a ton of stress off of us and everyone loved the yummy food! - The store is also very clean and staff is friendly. HIGHLY recommend.
It’s a big chicken store. Their fry chicken is quite dry and a lot of oil. They just give you one glass of drink. If you need some more, you have to ask them.
I had ordered some spicy chicken tenders and it came with a roll with gravy and corn nuggets. The spicy chicken tenders were really good, but the corn nuggets could have been better. The gravy was not bad, and the service was fine.
The food is fantastic, the drive thru service can be hit or miss. Whether a headset issue or a understanding issue often the drive thru attendants do not seem happy to be at work or struggle to understand the order. If this happened for me at multiple drive thru's (like it does my husband's deep voice) then I would expect it but seems to constantly only be an issue at this one location.
The food tasted great, but the customer service experience fell short. Upon arrival to place my order, I didn't receive a warm welcome and encountered an empty window. Moments later, my food was abruptly pushed out without any interaction, along with the total. Regrettably, I won't be returning to this location.
Ordered food. Customer service was a little slow. They asked me to pull ahead as some of my order was not ready. Wings came out hot but everything else was warm. The potatoes were definitely sitting to long and were yellow instead of there normal color. I called and let them know they were wrong for serving those potatoes
In the area heading for Great Wolf Lodge...This was super close. I was excited to have wings and fries on national chicken wing day... Never got my fries... unfortunate experience. Food was hot and staff was nice. Drinks were cold....just never got my fries. Overall 3 stars is all I can do... because my inaccurate order. Respectfully, Bryan OKC
While placing my order I was asked how many honey mustards I wanted. I only asked for two, but I was charged for one of them without my knowledge. I also waited 13 minutes behind one car in the drive-thru. My Sprite was flat and tasted awful. I live one mile away from this location and I like the chicken but I only go here about once a year. My advice is to go to Popeye's across the street or to a different location!
Only 2 cars in the drive through. Sat for 20 minutes waiting for food. Then they give me no gravy with one of my orders. No apology from the man taking the orders. Nothing Express about this place.
I came for a quick meal before I picked up my kids. Saw there wasn’t a long line so I jumped in. Didn’t mind the wait when I first came to the speaker and told the cashier my entire order. Fish snack pack my side corn nuggets and my drink a sweet tea. She repeated it back and I said yes. I asked for tartar sauce with my fish and was instructed it’s an extra 50 cent. I say ok and charge my card, I received a tartar sauce with two rolls and corn nuggets. Takes her forever to come back to the window then she tells me I never said fish. Why would I order tartar sauce with just corn nuggets and rolls. That’s nasty. She then asks if I want the food and I’m like duh? I want what you gave me plus the fish and hush puppies. I received my one fish, cool. But then I see one hush puppy and a couple corn nuggets and I’m missing my extra roll. Come on now. Do better.. I worked for Chick-fil-A for years, maybe yall should work on your customer service.
The door was closed, I had to wait in drive through line to pick up my online order. So, food just getting cold as I parked to go inside to be told to go through drive thru. If that is what you are supposed to do, then the text messages a need to tell you where to pick up.
New to the area. First time I got the Eight piece dark meat carryout, I was very impressed. Nice size pieces and yummy. Then yesterday….could hardly find any meat on those thighs.
Ordered a large take out order. Multiple mistakes and one part completely wrong. Missing gravy and other condiments. Was offered a refund just for the wrong order and none of the other missing items.
Use to be nice well mannered...okra burnt ask nicely for different was told my assuming mng in Spanish that is not burnt as I dropped a piece to the counter should of grabbed a photo but didnt...tea is old and the other sweet tea was not sweet..lol 20 bucks.. SMH..I'll take u off places to eat...not the first time either
This is why I don't come here anymore. Every time you come you take a chance on it being good or getting chicken that's very dry. Today came for chicken and they say it will be 15mins to cook it. So I ordered gizzards and they needed 10 mine to cook them. How can you sell chicken and not have any ready? Not even a busy weekend.
The guy in the drive through needs to slow down and stop interrupting people every 2 seconds. I have never driven off from a drive through untill today. He will not let you finish a sentence without speaking over you mid sentence. Its everytime with that guy and today i have had enough and drove off to go somewhere else.
The food is bland. The chicken recipe is outdated and they are banking on you dumping gravy all over everything. Mac&Cheese was runny and the fries were soggy with oil instead of crispy. The Fried okra is from a frozen bag but is pretty good. The sweet tea is their best feature. They really do not like to answer the call button and it is best to just go in. I finally had to go in for a fork (should have gotten a spoon for the Mac and Cheese). When I went in the lady at the front did not acknowledge me at all until I said excuse me, which is fine, but she was highly annoyed that I interrupted her time of doing nothing. I got my fork, finished my meal, and let the regret of Chicken Express set in.
