Ferrari's Italian Villa Grapevine Reviews
Went for our work Christmas Party this past weekend and the hospitality and vibes were amazing. Thank you for hosting us!
We celebrated my son's birthday here. The service was superb and the food was delicious! We loved everything that we ordered - from the appetizers to the desserts! Our servers were very attentive and we never had to ask for any refills as they were ready before we even could ask! The food presentation was very well done. Even my husband who always orders spaghetti and meatballs got his entree presented well. Very impressed with the place. Will definitely come back again!
Why isn’t anyone talking about this hidden gem? We’ve lived here for 20+ years and have never visited until tonight when we checked it out for Restaurant Week. The food and wine was absolutely delicious! And we loved how the owners are present and helping to run the restaurant - very friendly and kind people. I will say service was quite slow - but luckily we were happy to enjoy a leisurely dinner with lots of time for conversation between courses, so it worked out great. Will definitely be back!
Excellent food and service in a classy restaurant setting. Oscar served us well from the moment we stepped into the bar. Then he arranged a quiet, romantic table for two in a hidden corner and gave us just the right amount of attention without hovering. Nicest dinner experience my wife and I have had in a long time.
I reserved this restraunt for my son and I during reatraunt week, and was blown away by the quality of the food and service! We were greeted and seated by the owner in a very elegantly designed dining room. The waiter was friendly and professional. The owner cooked my steak Dianna table side. However, the real star of the show was the quality of the food. Best meal we have had in 20 years! I believe when you see owners as involed as they are in their business it ensures quality and consistency. We will definitely be back!
My wife and I went to Ferrari’s to celebrate our anniversary. And we were glad that we chose Ferrari’s instead of our usual steak house. Ethan was our server and made us feel instantly at home. He was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. He described the dishes we asked about, recommending his favorite choices. My wife chose a filet and I had lasagna. And a side order of gnocchi. All were outstanding. We had bananas Foster for dessert which was prepared at table side by Dietrich and it was excellent. All in all we had a very enjoyable evening and are looking forward to our next visit.
Mark took me to an Italian steakhouse restaurant for my birthday. We ate at Ferrari’s Italian Villa in Grapevine Texas. Ethan was our server surprisingly he was from Joseph Oregon. I’m from Oregon and know where Joseph is. We had a great connection and he was a fantastic server. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time the tiramisu was out of this world. The owner came and talked to us twice. His wife was at the table next to us and so we were able to visit with her on our way out. Lovely couple amazing restaurant and even more amazing was the food. Come to find out talking with the owner and his wife. Their son has two restaurants in New York and is a Michelin chef. We Will definitely come back the next time we’re in Dallas Texas.
What an incredible experience all the way around! We were referred by some friends locally, and I couldn’t say enough about the service, quality of food, ambiance and the price. The owner showed us fresh options of the food, he recommended and made us feel like we part of his long lost family! We felt as we were introduce to the Italian way of life. We will be back the very next time we are in DFW!
We celebrated our 35 wedding anniversary over dinner at Ferraris for the first time. The food was excellent and the staff was attentive and gave great recommendations. We will definitely go back!
Unbelievable dining experience! Fantastic food and awesome staff. Specials that night were the Chilean Sea Bass, Cowboy Rib Eye (with pepperoni-type sausage and baked-on parmesan cheese, and a Beef Filet, butterflied and stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella cheese. Mouth is watering as I write this...mmm, mmm good!
We had an amazing experience. The food and recommendations were amazing. Oscar was a phenomenal server and we will be back and requesting him! The owners were beyond amazing. They told us stories, took time to speak with us, and truly shared the heart and soul of this restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Ferrari's Italian Villa & Chop House offers an exceptional dining experience, combining luxurious ambiance with delicious Italian cuisine that bursts with flavor. The restaurant boasts an expansive dining room, complete with six private rooms perfect for hosting private events or intimate gatherings. The menu is a delight, with standout dishes like their perfectly crafted Gnocchi, rich and flavorful Lasagna, and the star of the night—the Pork Chop stuffed with smoky Mozzarella and Prosciutto. Every bite is a testament to the fresh ingredients and culinary expertise that go into each dish. Service is impeccable, with a highly attentive and well-trained staff who ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. The elegant, upscale atmosphere makes it an excellent choice for special occasions or a memorable night out. Overall, Ferrari's Italian Villa & Chop House delivers a top-notch experience, offering food that is as vibrant in taste as it is beautifully presented. Highly recommended!
I made a reservation to take my work team here for dinner on Tuesday to thank them for traveling to this year's Parcel Forum and all the great work involved in making it a success. When we arrived, the restaurant was very crowded but our table was waiting for us and we were seated immediately. I can't say enough about the staff and chefs. We had a long dinner engagement and went an hour past closing before we ended. I was trying to push us along to be respectful of closing time, but our waiter Mehmet assured me to relax and enjoy. I think we ordered half the menu, and every dish was perfectly cooked and tasty. Thank you so much. Next time I'm in the Dallas / Grapevine area, I'll definitely be going back.
Very charming setting and wonderful food were the stars tonight for my son's graduation dinner. Server even brought a tiramisu with candle to congratulate him, very thoughtful and appreciated. Pork chop was top notch as were the lamb chops and gnocchi. Kitchen accomodated our request for an off menu item as well. Grandi complimenti Ferraris!
My husband made reservations here for our 3 year anniversary. The food was fantastic, and the service was something I’ve only ever experienced in a small town. I mean, when’s the last time you had an owner/chef seat you and another personally check on EVERY table to ensure the experience met/exceeded expectations?! Oscar, our waiter, was also top-tier! Overall just a fantastic dinner; we’ll definitely be back :)
Went here today for my parents 41st Anniversary dinner. Not only was the food amazing, but the entire experience was wonderful! The hostess showed us all of the specials and explained each one, the waiter Michael was extremely attentive and provided amazing service. The manager came over to introduce herself as well and even made our dessert at the table. My wife says the Gnocchi is the best she’s ever had! The steak is better than any other steakhouse in the area! Beyond all of this, my mother is handicap and uses a walker. At the end of our night Michael walked us out and held the door open for us. Best experience at a restaurant you could ask for. Highly recommend to everyone!
We had an absolutely perfect Mother’s Day dinner! My boyfriend’s mom is from Sardinia and I researched this particular restaurant to take her to. We met the owners at the door and she was so pleased to speak to someone also from Sardinia. After that, I didn’t care how good the food was…but we ended up having an absolutely delicious meal. Even my daughter, who is very picky, raved about the spaghetti and meatballs that she had. I enjoyed the shrimp scampi cooked table side. After we stuffed ourselves silly, we decided to share a dessert and had the affogato, a first for all of us. It was so good that we’re already planning on our return trip. I highly, highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Italian food.
Upscale Italian restaurant with an aesthetically polished interior, tastefully festive around the holidays. Good for a date or business gathering, and service was very respectful. Though there isn't a strict formal dress code, most come in nicer clothing. To start, we got the antipasti selection with pork cuts and burrata cheese (pictured), bone-in ribeye (also pictured) shrimp scampi (which is finished tableside). Bread was complimentary.
DON'T LET THE OUTSIDE APPEARANCE FOOL YOU... This restaurant is great! It looks a little tricky from the exterior, but its actually a nice, quaint place for a date night or a girls night out. I dined on the patio, but the indoor dining ( reserved/ private party) areas looked quite inviting as well. The menu had several options beyond traditional Italian dishes. I ordered the Chilean sea bass topped with crab meat along with a side of asparagus and enjoyed every single bite. So much so that the photo op was missed. However, the food isn't even the best part of the experience. It was the SERVER!! Oscar was one of the best servers I've had to date. He was knowledgeable about the menu and personable. He'll convince you to get the dessert, but it's well worth it... to get the "full experience". Oscar, along with the food truly made the first visit to this restaurant enjoyable.
We had a very special birthday dinner for my husband at Ferrari’s. The food was excellent, and the service was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the attentive staff and plan to book a family event in one of their private rooms. There is also a new beer garden/pub next door owned by the same family that looks great!
If I could give 10 stars, I would. The food was exceptional - the gnocchi is one of the best things I’ve ever had. My steak was cooked to perfection. On top of that, the service was incredible. Oscar was perfection - on top of absolutely everything, perfect recommendations, he made the experience one we won’t forget. My husband and I are from NJ and haven’t been able to find an authentic Italian restaurant since moving to Texas. We’ve now found our new place! We will ABSOLUTELY be back. Run, don’t walk here. You’re missing out if you haven’t tried it.
Honestly, words are not enough! Just come here and see for yourself! Let Oscar spoil you and listen to Francesco’s story. I was lucky enough to have so many things; focaccia straight from the wood fire oven,, the best I have ever had! So light and airy and incredible, mama’s gnocchi mmmmm, filet cooked and seasoned to perfection and the Sea bass.. #chefskiss. I had to review before dessert because im running out of room in my tummy! Do yourself a favor come here, bring your friends and your family! They are ready to spoil you!
We can’t wait to come back! We came at the recommendation of a friend. I was looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary. Presentation at the entrance of the daily special was a fun first for us.Service was excellent, food was amazing and the owner cooked my wife’s scampi table side. The lasagne was delectable.
I love this place and especially Cindy who works there. She’s so thoughtful and kind. The service is wonderful. I really like their food. The parking lot is always real nice to park. The inside is always so clean and the customer service is great.
Ferrari's was a place we used to frequent. This was our first visit in many years. We arrived about 615 pm and the place was largely empty. By 715 it was hopping w just about every table full. I like the layout of the place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is a nice size, not too big, not too small. My wife had chicken parm, my mother in law had salmon, I had the bone in ribeye. All were delicious. The ribeye was thinner then expected but flavorful. Overall a very nice dinner out. We will definitely be back.
We made reservations for our 11th anniversary and everything was top notch from how we were greeted like family guests, to the wine, and the awesome food. Our server said she had been there for 7 years and is attending medical school. The food was absolutely amazing! No matter who you are, if you want a special dining experience this is it.
For the owners reading this review, the food was good, but the real standout was Oscar. He truly knows how to treat his customers and made us feel like long-time friends. While I can enjoy a good steak at many places, the main reason I keep coming back here is Oscar.
From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, it was an awesome time through and through. Management, ran by Oscar, was a tight ship with a focus on the customer experience. Our waiter, Colin, was friendly, informative, professional and accomdating. The ravioli and bone-in cowboy ribeye cooked to a perfect medium-rare, Pittsburgh style, was flawless and whoever made my Old Fashioned deserves a raise. My wife and I had a great time and look forward to our next visit.
We had an amazing time! My husband called ahead to plan a wonderful birthday dinner for me, they had our table specially decorated and all ready for us! The server was great and everyone said happy birthday to me on my way out!! The food was incredible!! We splurged on the wagyu tomahawk and it was unbelievable! Can't wait to go back!
The food here is so good and the atmosphere is so nice and cozy and warm and inviting. I will be making a trip here at least once a year now. At the table we tried the stuffed pork, chop the gnocchi, a chicken pasta dish and a big rib eye and not a single. One of them had any low points. They were all very delicious.
The 11 of us walked in off the street and were immediately treated like Family! Great atmosphere, amazing private rooms, and the food, while expensive, was worth every savory bite! Sooo good! 5 stars isn't enough!
Was more upscale than your average Italian restaurant but the food was anything but.. this is some of the best damn Italian food I’ve had short of being back in Italy/Sicily (excuse my language but seriously). The service was outstanding (thank you Kenny for the awesome recommendations and being one hell of a host), the food was incredible, great atmosphere, good drinks. I literally don’t have one negative comment about this place…really…and I can typically find something to say. We will most definitely be making this a regular stop..and I can’t say that about very many places. If you are in the mood for great food and a good atmosphere, then you have to try this place out. You won’t be disappointed!
My experience at Ferrari’s was great from the moment we walked the service was exceptional. The location is very nice clean and its kepted up. The food had great flavor steak was juicy, and side dish was good as well. The gave us complementary bread that came with marinara sauce. Overall great experience I would come back in the future. Thank you for a good experience.
Let me tell you how much I enjoyed Ferrari's Italian Villa! I do not often give five stars, but this place is amazing! My daughters' flight was delayed at DFW! So we looked for something nice for a quick bite close by the airport! What a blessing this place was for a going away meal! The food greatly exceeded our expectations! We only had appetizers and desserts, but that was amazing! You will agree when you come and visit! Our server Kenny was amazing! Not only did he treat us like VIPs, but he did a amazing job at making our Banana Al Francesco! To be honest it was so good that it was a spoon battle at the table with in the family! You have got to try it! It is like a fancy banana split! 😆 We also had the Romaine wedge, Ferrari caprese, Fritto Misto, Beef carpaccio, Gamberi all Dino and the cheese cake! It was all great! Don't take my word for it! Come and see for yourself! You will love the food and make a good impression on someone special!

Business dinner, thus not pictures taken But really nice place with a private room Great italian wines selection
We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary at Ferrari’s. Made reservations on open table and had our own corner table for the night. Started with the focaccia bread and pasta e fagioli soup. The bread was AMAZING. Get it. For dinner we had the Vitello alla ferraris (veal scallopini), 8oz filet mignon, a side of Brussels sprouts, and ricotta ravioli. All of it was very good. The ravioli was amazing. I would come back again and again just for the pasta. The steak was good, but should have stuck with their pasta dishes. They gave us a complimentary tiramisu Togo and that was delicious! We will absolutely be back.
I had an amazing experience here! Our server was Deitrik and he was soooooooooooo amazing, he was sooooo attentive and accommodating, he was the best server I’ve ever had at a restaurant. He is the best ever. The food was really good aswell! The wait staff even gave me the rose on our table and and reminded me not to leave it! This is such an amazing restaurant, i would recommend this to everyone.
Five stars across the board! Unique dishes cooked to perfection. Professional, well trained staff who really care and take customer experience serious. The lasagna and steak dianna are my favorites. Top it off with the cheese cake! Onsite owners who are passionate about their restaurant and your experience. A must try when in Grapevine.
Food and service was fantastic. Mehmet was our server and we could not have been more satisfied with him, his attitude attention and promptness was absolutely amazing. We came here for our 15 year anniversary and we will definitely return. Hands down the best food and service we have ever had.
My husband and I ate here for the first time today and we are beyond satisfied with not only the food, but the service as well. The steak filet was cooked amazing I've never had one that good before and so tender. 😋 The homemade cheesecake and tirramsu were also so delicious. I'm so happy we found this place and will be back and definitely want to try the pasta next time.
I came here for a friend’s birthday dinner and really enjoyed my time here. Since it was a group dinner , there were a couple variety combinations we could pick from. I believe they require set menus for a certain size group. Price was about $98 for each person. With that said , it included appetizers, main dish , pasta & dessert. Starting off with the appetizers, the options were house salad & Focaccia bread. I absolutely loved the Focaccia bread , it’s one of the best bread appetizers I’ve have so I really highly recommend it. There were 4 options for the main dish & I went with the Chilean Sea Bass. The Sea Bass was so delicious & it had a bit of crab meat on top that made it even better. Desserts wise I went with the tiramisu. The serve was solid. They had private dining rooms if you need reservations for a small party. I think it was a solid deal for the price & the options. I would definitely come here again & would recommend the group set dinners for anyone that is interested!
The ambiance was elegant, with a charming villa atmosphere that made the meal feel special. I tried the veal parmigiana, and it was exquisite—tender veal with a crispy crust, topped with rich marinara sauce and melted cheese. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the side of garlic bread was deliciously buttery. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
We’ve visited Ferraris several times for dinner in the past and even planned a surprise 50th birthday party for my darling wife. It’s always been great. For 2026 Valentines, I wanted to surprise her with somewhere new that we had never been, but unfortunately, I waited too long to make reservations. However, I was able to get an early evening reservation at 5:15 at Ferraris and decided to celebrate there because it was a special place to us both. Besides, we had never been to Ferraris on Valentine’s Day. I must say, Francesco and family knocked our socks off, with the most beautiful valentines, I believe we have ever experienced! The ambiance, service, food, wine, every detail was on point! The food! It was among the best meals we’ve ever enjoyed! We dine in the finest restaurants and there are none better. From crab claw app, to veal chops to lobster tail main, to the absolute best cappuccino and desserts we’ve experienced ( both agreed). Thank you, thank you, thank you, for such a wonderful, elegant, lovely and delicious evening!!! We decided to begin coming back every week, to make this our daily Sopranos “hang out”, lol! Seriously though, you nailed it folks! Thank you again!
All around lovely experience! Ferrari's did not disappoint. Raunel G was awesome. Great wine, food was amazing (and filling), and service was wonderful. I definitely recommend Ferrari's for date night or a night out with the entire family.
A couple buddies and myself have started a tradition that we go try new, fine dining restaurants. We go once a month and never to the same place twice. We will be back here though! The restaurant is fantastic! Food was some of the best I have ever had. Crab claws - 10/10 & fresh Mussels - 10/10 & fresh Focaccia Bread - 10/10 & handmade (Hot, fluffy, crunchy - this bread was on another level) Sea Bass Entree 10/10 - fresh Ox tail pasta - 9.5/10 - handmade noodles 5 hour slow roast veal - 9.8/10 Everyone was great! The Owners (Husband and Wife) are on the main dining floor, the hostess stand, the kitchen…. Nothing goes unnoticed, everything is intentional. Absolutely blast, great food, PRICED RIGHT. Casual dinner to Special Occasion, the menu had the perfect range.
Went here for our Anniversary and it was STILL a pleasure to come here. No complaints at all. The waiter was attentive and we wanted for nothing. Francesco is always a pleasant surprise when he personally does the Cherries Jubilee!
My sisters and I came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and everything about our experience was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly kind, and our service was outstanding — very informative, patient, and helpful when answering questions about the menu and helping us choose items. The atmosphere felt upscale without being intimidating, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and experience. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and an elevated dining experience with friendly pricing.
Whoa man. You know we like good Italian. This is one of those man I'm glad I found this one. Homemade pastas for the win! Cassie made some excellent recommendations from the wine list. We talked about the features we liked in vino and she said, this is the one you want. It was delicious and paired well with our dinner. Gnocchi was the table favorite. I have to agree. When I think of gnocchi, this is what I'm thinking of from now on. They've set the bar everyone else must compete against. Tiramisu? Of course. Don't tease me. Focaccia? Yup. Chicken parm? Double yup. Canallone? Wow. Must return for another shot at this menu. P. S. We got the gangster booth. IYKYK
I have read many other reviews on this place and I think the absolute opposite because they had a fantastic indoor seating experience, the lights were dim as-well as the music, they also had very nice waiters which was nice. The food was amazing and I would definitely recommend coming to this place if your around town.
We took a group of clients there last week after a conference. The staff was wonderful, our servers did an exceptional job of keeping up with all of us. The owners brought out some excellent starter appetizers while everyone was talking and not looking at the menu. And rave reviews from our clients for taking them there. We will return. And I will return for the gnocchi on a regular basis.
I cannot say enough positive things about this place. We had reservations in downtown Dallas but were all staying at the airport so we wanted something closer. They were booked on Open Table so I called and the woman who answered was so polite and immediately offered to accommodate our part of 10 within 30 minutes. We all showed up to a lovely table ready and waiting for us, water glasses filled and just the most delightful introduction to the specials. Our server Leslie was amazing as was the owner who was so funny and cooked a couple steaks table side along with this fabulous banana dessert. I can’t wait to bring my family back. The food was amazing as was the service and atmosphere. The place is huge, lots of room inside and out, private party rooms and it filled up as the evening went on with tons of other large groups and couples.
One of the best Italian Restaurants I have ever experienced! Dined as an out of state guest. The Chicken Marsala was beyond amazing! I would fly back to TX just for the Chicken Marsala. The Tiramisu was out of this world. The staff were attentive, enthusiastic, and fun. Truly a special pleasure to dine here.
First time visit was outstanding. Grilled Salmon was 8 oz. and was tasteful, properly cooked medium rare for me, on a bed of polenta. My wife's Valdostina Chicken was also delicious and the portion size was so large I had to share it with her. We recommend the Italian Surprise dessert if it's available. Reasonable pricing, our server Cassie was professional, knowledgeable, and very cheerful. We will now consider Ferrari's for a private Anniversary party. Highly recommended. Phil B.
We had such a wonderful experience at Ferrari’s Italian Villa! Our server, Jesse, was amazing, so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about all the best menu options. He truly made the evening special. The owner, Francesco, personally welcomed us and shared stories about his history and the incredible places he has lived and cooked. It added such a warm, personal touch to the night. I ordered the Steak Diana, which Francesco prepared table side, it was absolutely delicious! My husband had the sea bass special and loved every bite. We ended the night with their tiramisu, which was the perfect finish to an incredible meal.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had! Deitrick was incredible—attentive, friendly, and just had a great vibe all around. He made us feel right at home and gave amazing recommendations throughout the night. On top of that, the owners were there and their presence really brought a warm, family feel to the whole experience. You can tell this place is run with heart. The hospitality, the atmosphere, the food—everything was on point. Can’t wait to come back!
This is a Must Stop and Enjoy life kind of place! Do you desire authentic Italian Food, do you want to feel the warmth of the Italian pasta, the absolute amazing Food is just the beginning here. Francesco and His Amazing Wife have assembled the Best Staff, from the front to the back this is one well rounded restaurant.. The perfectly cooked Meals, the abundant portions, the flavors that bring your tastebuds to an absolutely delightful place.. Little Italy in NYC ain’t got nothing on this place, this is By Far one of the Top Italian Restaurants in North America!
I don’t live nearby, but whenever I fly into town I MUST come to Ferrari’s restaurant. They never disappoint. This time I was greeted by a great server, Michael. He was very attentive as I was sitting in the casual 3 Barrels part of the restaurant. He took care of me all the way, making sure my glass was always full and giving good food selections. The pizza had an excellent pillowy-crisp crust, the noodles were perfectly homemade and cooked just right, and the wine was tasty as always…
Consistency of service and food are hallmarks of an amazing space: Jane and Francesco are the consummate hosts. Having dined at Ferrari's for many years I had the wonderful opportunity to return after a short Texas hiatus and chose (wisely) to make Ferrari's my Monday evening dinner choice. Greeted warmly at the door by Francesco and Jane, I was seated in the perfectly private spot to observe the dining room activities. My table captain, Arturo, was engaging, professional and knowledgeable, and sensed my desire for a slowly-paced evening. The cioppino was simply amazing. Notice the entire bowl filled with the shells - this dish was perfectly adorned - every biteful of fish with broth. The base was rich and perfectly seasoned. Now having tasted everything on their menu over 10 years of I can unequivocally recommend enjoying anything they serve - especially the daily specials. My rating: exceptional.
I decided to visit this place for the restaurant $99 menu for our first visit. This place was awesome! We were greeted warmly at the door. Shown the specials and antipasti display on the way to the table. Oscar was the best waiter!. He was funny, explanatory, napkin on the lap, chair pulled out, crumbs removed awesomeness! You couldn't ask for more. The food was top notch, and very filling. Loved everything we tasted! We didn't get pasta but next time for sure. The owners came out and conversed with us and other diners as well, it was really nice and made us feel as if we were old friends catching up! We really loved the whole experience and atmosphere! Can't wait to go back!
Went here for a corporate Christmas party. The bar closed off for this event, and they brought in trays of food. It was all good, but nothing was spectacular. Probably the best thing we had to eat was the pizza they put out as appetizers. The service, however, was absolutely outstanding! The bartenders were friendly, kept up with an impossible number of guests, made fantastic drinks, and did it all with a smile. They really made the night fun! The atmosphere in the bar is completely different to the restaurant, and I will say the food in there looked and smelled delicious. I know it's hard to cook for the volume of people we had, so I would for sure give this restaurant another chance to wow me with their menu.
Our waiter, Oscar, was amazing!!!! The focaccia bread (pizza dough) was very good. Caesar salad, I’d prefer it chopped up versus a few whole leaves of romaine and two slivers of cheese. The lasagna, floating in a moat of sauce. Flavor was okay but not my ideal lasagna dinner. Excellent wine menu and worthy of another try.
This is a good place to go for a decent meal. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very attentive and pleasant. Especially the bar staff. Great place for some wine and apps. Calamari is a must! I had the Pollo Finanziera, it wasn't much to write home about. Someone else had the ricotta ravioli and left a happy plate so I will try that next. Mushrooms are sooooo good and so were the brussel sprouts. Again, I will go back and try something else. Definitely worth returning because of the service and I did mention good wine right?
We went on Valentine's Day when they had a special limited menu. The food was good, but we were hoping for the regular menu. The serve was very nice, and so were the owners. We will return when the full menu is available.
Food is fantastic, the service, however is incredibly slow. my fiance and I had dinner reservations for 8, we're not able to place our order until almost 8:45, and did not get out of there until close to 10. Between the atmosphere, which is quiet and romantic, and the wonderful food, it is unfortunate that the speed of service is not up par.
My first experience with Ferrari's was last year for my 15 year wedding anniversary and it was absolutely amazing. My husband decided to surprise me with reservations this year for an early Valentine's dinner. The food is incredible and they have become my favorite restaurant. Last night they were a bit busy and service was a bit slow. My last glass of wine I never received which was a bit upsetting but I understood our server was very busy. So I let it go. Upon making the reservation my husband ordered flowers to be at the table when we arrived as he did the same thing for our anniversary. Over the phone he was quoted a price but upon receiving the bill it was triple the price he was quoted. Which caused some confusion. He asked the server if he could just check on it to give us a better understanding as there was miscommunication somewhere throughout the reservation. With this said we were not refusing to pay we just wanted clarification as he did not expect the price that was on the bill. After a few minutes the owner came to our table to explain and provided us with the receipt for the flowers from target. Which we explained what he was told upon booking the reservation and that there was just miscommunication on the hostess part but that it is okay. She then tells us next time to buy our own flowers which honestly upset me quite a bit. We were not being rude we were simply confused and I really did not appreciate her response. That is not how a customer should be treated. It kind of ruined my night.
My first date with my wife was in this restaurant and also our engagement was there as well. It's a very special place for us, but for these Valentine's days our babe just was about to complete 6 months old and we thought why not Ferrari's? It was a bad experience, it was supposed to be our best Valentine's Day dinner but the food delayed almost 2 hours and when it comes they forgot the pasta and I was also charged for $70 for a bottle of wine that I didn't drink, the total cost of the check was $335. Also the 20% gratitude was not optional even with this. I'm feeling like a clown 🤡.
Very Disappointing! This evening I ordered (Delivery): Focaccia Bread Insalata Del Bosco Gnocchi Della Mamma Ricotta Ravioli Fried Potatoes Cheesecake Tiramisu The bread was amaaaaaazing. The Gnocchi was delicious but the portion size is ridiculous, especially for the price of $32 (It was all sauce). The fried potatoes had waaaaaay too much salt but was okay. The Ricotta Ravioli was pretty good. After seeing that I had old, molded blueberries on my cheesecake I couldn’t even stomach the thought of eating it. No, Thank You! Overall, It definitely was NOT worth $167.
I had really high hopes for Ferraris as everyone talks about this place constantly . My wife and I had a 7p reservation. Place was empty so we sat at the bar. Bartender was super nice and good service. Sat down got a few drinks and this is where it goes down hill for me. They brought us out a bread appetizer (free) with marinara sauce. Bread was amazing. Sauce was cold. I asked if that was normal and they said yes the sauce is served cold. Big turn off for me. We decided to order the 19 dollar crab claw app. You should have seen my face when 4 overcooked to death crab claws showed up. For 20 dollars I expect more than 4 little overcooked crab claws. My wife had 1 little bite of crab claw. A tiny bite of bread and she gave me the look it was time to go. Couldn't of agreed more. Felt like I stepped back I time with the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Place really needs a bit of help in my opinion. Just sad it was a date night out away from our newborn and this is what we chose
Came for Valentine’s Day and there was a $99/person prefixe menu. Food was below average (flavorless steak and seabass, basic salad) Server looked like he had just rolled out of bed. They charge an auto gratuity. Very underwhelmed for a $275 dinner. Will not be back.
I came for the first time on Valentine’s day. It was a terrible experience. I don’t recall a time where dinner was this bad for me before. We wasted 300$ completely. I would never ever come back.
I had the worst experience ever here. 1. Very noisy, too crowded 2. Food options are less 3. Communication issues with waiter, we tried to asking for vegan menu and we got gluten free. We have tried multiple times asking him to check with others but no use. 4. The plates we were served are extremely dirty. 5. Also, we found the price point is too high for the portions they serve. 6. Zero options for non -alcoholic beverages It was a utter disappointment for us to go all the way there.
This place is a joke. I have always wanted to go so ventured with a friend during restaurant week. We had to get up and ask someone if we had a server coming after we had been waiting for over 20 minutes with no greet in a relatively empty restaurant. We requested restaurant week menus which actually charged you more for everything than if you ordered each course on its own. Do they think people can’t do math? The Caesar salad was three tiny Romain leaves and a small piece of bread for $16. Are they serious? I ordered the cioppino and it was so fishy tasting it was foul. It was as if something was spoiled. I couldn’t even eat it. Server was sweet and gave us dessert which we barely touched as a roach climbed on the wall next to us. I will never be back.
