This pizzeria is a nice place to go for a good-quality New York style pizza. Thin crust with different options such as pesto and garlic to name a few. Their crust is really fresh. Your first time here? You’re being greeted by the General Manager( owner) and offered a free piece of New York Cheese cake. The pizza had a nice thin crust, but it wasn’t as crispy as I was expecting. The toppings were fresh, and the flavors were decent, but the sauce lacked that deep, rich taste that makes a pizza stand out. I had the pepperoni pizza, and the pepperoni was good, but the overall combination felt a bit basic. The service was friendly, but it took longer than expected for our food to arrive. The atmosphere was casual, with a pleasant, bustling vibe, but nothing that made it memorable. It’s a solid option if you're in the area, but I wouldn't rush back for another round.

My business partner and I were on our way to DFW airport and pizza sounded good. We had an hour and a half and Grimaldi’s was only 3 miles from the airport. So we stopped in at 3:45pm on a Thursday. They are known for good pizza and we were the only table seated so this was gonna be good. Well, the service was slow. Our waitress was nice but it appears they got some to-go pizzas called in and 30 mins after ordering our pizza and calzone we still didn’t have anything. Only one more table occupied. After asking we were told just a few more minutes. My pizza came out in 5 min and I was 1/2 done before my buddies calzone came out. Not good service standards at all. I can’t imagine a busy night. Regardless, I really liked our bruschetta. Some of the best I’ve had in a while and my pizza was really good. Don’t come here unless you have plenty of time to sit and wait. Otherwise, enjoy the pizza it’s good!

Great food and atmosphere as always! However the oven "died" and no one came to tell us it was going to be a while to heat it back up. Then the pizza came out and was undercooked a bit. Our waiter kept our drinks full, so they could have easily told us it was going to be a bit longer. The 2 tables close to us (that we could hear) also got their food late too.

My first time visiting this restaurant, which I happened to enter by chance, is my last time. I have to say that from the moment I walked in, starting with the host, he didn't have the courtesy to even welcome me, nor did he even smile. Then, when I sat down, the wait was too long. By the time they served me, they gave me my pizza burnt in several places, and that's what I hate the most, besides the fact that it barely had any sauce. I couldn't believe it, so I had to ask for sauce on the side. To top off my night, the pizza accidentally fell face down on the table, and there were two young women in the takeout area, both of whom were staring at me and discussing what had happened to me. It was in very bad taste. Of all the staff, the only compassionate person was a very kind man with reddish-blond hair who approached me to help me. They should teach the employees to smile a little and to have empathy for others.

Decided to try this upon recommendation of a doctor who frequents it. The pizza sauce is perfection! The cannoli was delish, but they don’t fill it beyond the tip of the shell. The salad was missing the tomatoes and olives! If you list it on the menu as such, then we expect to get it. UPDATE: We were in the area again. This time, we had to wait 45 minutes for our pizza because they work on the ovens in the middle of the day. When we got the pizza it was burnt! I like a little burnt crust, but this was black crust all over and basil was dry and burned. The last photo is from our most recent visit. Terrible experience.

The place looked classy and nice. Pizza reviews were great for this place so I chose to try it. The crust of the pizza was so hard for a thin crust it felt like hardened chewy bread, taste was just okay. Margherita pizza was better than the pesto pizza. On the flip side, I was charged 5$ for chicken topping for just half side of the pizza, wasn’t even informed about that when I requested for a topping, we found a paper packet may be of salt or pepper inside the pizza crust. Given all these, the pizza is really over priced, so the price-value gap of the pizza is huge. Even pricier than the best pizza places of Chicago! Both quantity and quality of the pizza don’t justify the price paid.

1st time and it will be my last. Pizza was very thin, very little cheese and the Italian sausage was extremely dry and seemed like it had been either day old or sitting for hours, pizza was cold and mushrooms were cold and baked through as they should be. Tables were dirty at a couple tables when we went to sit down so we had to ask the server to wipe down before we could be seated. Another customer was not happy while we were there as they too were not happy with the food. We did not say anything because our server already seemed on the grumpy side. Honestly the price we paid the flavor and quality just wasn’t worth it. My friends dine often at Grimaldi’s and have mentioned the last few times they have dined the food is just not great. They will be looking for another pizza place. Over priced and definitely not the best pizza I’ve had. Don’t waste your money find a pizza place that can bake a great pizza because Grimaldi’s is not it.

On Christmas Eve, 12/24/25, my 4 year old daughter and I came to the Grapevine location to order a small child’s pizza and salad for our Christmas Eve dinner. We placed our order with the To-Go order receptionist, Sarah. After placing our order I asked her if we could sit inside the restaurant while we waited for our order, but she told us we had to wait outside because they were busy and had many reservations. My 4 year old daughter was sad that we couldn’t even sit inside around the Christmas lights. We respectfully waited for over an hour, we were never even offered a glass of water. When I finally went up to ask Sarah for our order, the salad and pizza had been waiting in the warmer the entire time. It is hard to not feel that this was a minority discrimination since my daughter and I were the only Hispanic customers in the restaurant. The business had multiple empty tables and a slow customer pool for the entire time we were waiting. When I went to speak to Sarah in concerns for our order, she was laughing, while on her phone, with 2 other co-workers. Grimaldis has always been in our hearts, but after this incident, I question the leadership and integrity of a well respected restaurant that discriminated against a mother and daughter for being of a different ethnicity than Caucasian.

This is the second time in a row I’ve received our pizza burnt to a crisp with a hole in the middle. Figured the first time was a fluke but was surprised to see it happened again. Also are they teaching how to cut pizzas differently? This specific order was cut into 13 different sized slices. Sad this happened again because we LOVE Grimaldi’s. Unfortunately we will most likely forego ordering from this location anymore.

Complete disappointment. The food is really good - highly recommend the Bruschetta and the Quattro Formaggi pizza...fantastic, but the service was terrible. We ordered at 7:20, at 8:10 and seeing others who had walked in after us receive their food...we finally received ours. I'm a huge fan of what this place could be, but this was an absolute fail. Our waiter served our drinks around 730 and did not come back to say anything until the food came out 50 minutes later. One might say it has to cook etc...no - we ordered Bruschetta and a 12 in pizza. Dissatisfied, disappointing, and definitely cannot recommend based on that service. There are too many choices of this type of food establishment to not put your best service forward.
