Chica España Gravere Reviews
Colorful atmosphere, which gives you a feeling of warmth and well-being. Kind and helpful owners. We had a delicious paella 🥘. I recommend this restaurant.
Really good. Seafood paella. Generous portion with lots of shrimp/scampi. Very good. The bruschetta was superb, and the platter and desserts were also good. Excellent service, the waitress was courteous, attentive, and friendly. Very nice place with parking, and lovely lights and Spanish references inside. Beautiful evening.
Just a stone's throw from Susa, Gravere is home to Chica Espana. A lovely place with authentic food; we had the mixed meat and fish paella (I couldn't take a photo because of its inviting aroma; it was devoured). Amazing desserts. A welcoming place with very attentive and friendly service.
A simple place, but very well-maintained and clean! They also offer a summer terrace! Not like every place... but if you notice the photo, even in the terrace (i.e. outside), smokers are encouraged to go into the courtyard to intoxicate themselves and pollute their lungs and the mountain air so as not to disturb those eating! (10 stars). The staff is very kind and attentive... we didn't take photos of the dishes because we polished them off; the paella is spectacular! The homemade desserts are very good! The price is reasonable (I expected more) for the products offered! Make a reservation, folks... if you can find a place! We'll definitely be back!
The best paella I've had outside of Spain. In fact, it almost didn't feel like you were in Italy. Perfectly made, no complaints there. The tomato bruschetta as an appetizer was also delicious. The sangria was also excellent, quite strong. The place is very nice. The only downside, for customers, is that it's always packed, so you have to book well in advance. But it's absolutely worth it.
Historic restaurant. I've known it for 20 years. Try the paella, it's truly excellent!! My favorite version is the Catalan one!! Spanish cuisine, beautifully executed! I haven't tried their dishes in years, but they're always well-made!! Well done!! Try the crema catalana, it's really good.
Great place 😆😆😆
Passing by and hungry, we decided to stop at this restaurant. It was 2:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon, and despite the late hour, they welcomed us very kindly for lunch (I want to emphasize the friendliness and kindness of the staff). The restaurant is very charming inside, with limited seating and an outdoor terrace. The dishes were delicious, from the meat to the fish, all perfectly cooked. The only downside was the burnt tortilla, which was served anyway. We'll definitely be back to try the paella, which we hear is amazing.
Paella, spanish style. Order this dish when you reserve for quicker service.
Not bad
We tried this restaurant again after over 20 years... a table of seven: the bruschetta was delicious, the paella was decent (except for the mussels, which we found to be a bit off), the sangria was below expectations (we had one liter left over out of two ordered), the crème bruschetta wasn't soft, and the caramelized sugar wasn't at all crunchy. A somewhat disappointing experience.
Good paella, standard Spanish tortillas, and I'd say a bit pricey for what it actually is. Good desserts. I recommend this place if you're passing through the Susa Valley. The sangria is definitely worth trying. You can also request a vegetarian version of paella; here in the photo you can find the vegetarian and seafood versions.
