Cheap beer
Great place to relax, get drinks, and watch the game. The owner (Kenny the Man) is great, and the bartenders, Ciara and Leah, are phenomenal as well. They make great drinks and are always respectful. Make sure you leave great tips.
Great bar and feels like home - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Love all the USMMA swag on the walls and the admiral’s flag.

Is great place to drink everybody's friendly in the bar there the bartenders do an excellent job the place is kept clean And it's the only bar left in great neck
The guy on Sunday that looks like Tom Cruise makes good Cocktails.
Good atmosphere and good drinks, no matter what night you come.. what more can you ask for?
One of my favorites. A local dive bar with a good atmosphere. Would recommend for anyone that wants to have fun. They have two dart boards and plenty of beer on tap to choose from. You can even order pitchers of beer at reduced prices! They recently even started preparing frozen bar pizzas which is always a nice plus! I frequent this establishment and always look forward to my next drink there.
The bartenders are awesome. BYOF. Popcorn is good. Weekdays it is a great local scene with good people. Friday and Saturday turns into an Animal House of sexy young college military men. That is all... Carry on.
If you’re looking for a nice place to unwind after work or catch the games on nights and weekends, I highly recommend Baker hill tavern in great neck NY. Wether you prefer a nice cold beer, or mixed drinks this place has a wide variety of ales and spirits, the staff is extremely friendly, especially Kenny, who has owned the establishment since 2005. We enjoy the bar menu, especially their handmade pizza wich is top notch! The locals are friendly as well and the place is spotless and the staff follows the social distancing and mask rules 100%. I highly recommend BHT!
The kind of bar you hope to find. How they used to be. Comfortable, not at all pretentious, good conversation. If you want fancy cocktails and lounge music, this is not the place for you. Loved it.
The best bar in Great Neck, fantastic staff, people, atmosphere.

Great local bar. Think Cheers but not as nice
After enjoying the Village Green Park Festival, we decided to skip the pricey food vendors and check out Baker Hill Tavern, conveniently located right next to the park. This turned out to be a great choice — not only was it more economical, but the food was fantastic. ⸻ What We Ordered We went all in and tried a variety of pizzas. For the table, we ordered a full Margherita pie — classic, fresh, and bursting with flavor from the mozzarella, tomato sauce, and basil. We also picked up slices of: • Spicy Buffalo Chicken Pizza – perfectly balanced heat with tender chicken and a drizzle of sauce that made it extra tasty. • Caesar Chicken Pizza – a unique twist with fresh lettuce, creamy dressing, and savory chicken on a crispy base. • Chicken Taco Pizza – a fun fusion of taco flavors with seasoned chicken, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of spice. ⸻ Taste & Quality Every slice we had was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The crust was just the right mix of crispy and chewy, and the toppings were generous without overpowering the base. You could tell everything was made with care. ⸻ Overall Experience Baker Hill Tavern is more than just a convenient stop next to the festival — it’s a spot worth visiting on its own. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the quality of the food easily rivaled any pizza place in the area. If you’re in the neighborhood, whether for a community event or just passing through, this is the place to grab a delicious pie or slice.
Nice place and friendly bar tender but i feel a little bit scared as no one wears a mask

Know what you want before you walk in. It can get really crowded. I wonder if they actually serve the hot pockets listed on the chalkboard.
Warm, friendly place. Owner Ken is great. Always very pleasant.
Not often you get a response within the hour from the owner. Was disappointed when we showed up to the bar and it was closed. Expressed disappointment and was answered right away from the owner with a very valid reason for the closure. Appreciate the response and we will definitely try again in the near future!

Local Sports Bar
If you’re an older guy who just likes to be around old guys and drink beer. Then this is your place! Foods good for the small selection they have. Beers good! Bartender is great! But all the old heads will have their heads turning and jaws to the floor if they see anyone who’s not a regular come in there. It wasn’t too welcoming but if you’re of a similar crowd to them then you will probably have a great time. If you’re a woman I probably wouldn’t step foot in the bar. I’m a younger guy and when I walked in all the regulars just wanted me to leave.

Only local bar in the entire town
only okay, but an old time favorite.
The bar has a great old-school vibe with a classic structure that adds a lot of character. It feels like a place with real history, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, I was pretty surprised—and honestly disappointed—when I saw I was charged $19 for a single Patron on the rocks. I definitely didn’t ask for a double, and at most bars, it’s standard practice to confirm whether the customer wants a single or a double before pouring. There’s always an excuse, but this just felt like poor transparency and not in line with best bar practices. It really took away from the overall experience for me.
Menu overall sucks. Weird food combos. Drinks are good. I ordered a flatbread that was inedible. The feature is just bad. So the waitress said if I can’t eat it done force myself. So I really thought it was going to be taken off the bill since I didn’t even eat half of it. Nope. I had to pay. The menu is garbage. Servers are fake af. Won’t ever recommend or suggest coming here unless you just want happy hour drinks.

On April 16th, 2022 my friend and i were refused service at Baker Hill Tavern. We literally walked in and was greated by the bartender with a " I did last call already". The bar closes at 2am and we arrived at 12:18am. My experience left me with an unsettling feeling about this place. When i call to get answers i get the run around. I wont be returning ever.
Went there ans as a latino i knew i walked into the wrong place if you know what i mean, you could hear a pin drop. Left right after finishing my beer.
