Bistro Burger Great Neck Reviews
One of the best places in town for a kosher gourmet burger. Shabbat menu is of particular value.
I've only done takeout. The burgers and fries are delicious. They are willing to modify the order. Dining looks spacious and clean. I highly recommend eating here.
Bistro Burger has a seriously impressive menu — tons of options from burgers 🍔 to wraps 🌯 to sandwiches 🥪 of all kinds. I had the shawarma sandwich, which was super flavorful, and my friend went with the grilled chicken wrap — healthy, fresh, and filling ✅. Shoutout to our waitress Monica for being incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout 🙌. Solid spot with great service and something for everyone. Would definitely come back 🔄.
This place is 3 for 3.... So far every time I've eaten there I enjoy their food. Company I'm with enjoys as well.
The short version: great food and quality food The long version: We were a family of 6 and the waiter was very patient with a family of undecided people. The burger, delicious. Medium rare meat was juicy and flavourful, but not too salty. The fries, crunchy on the outside and soft and easy on the inside, with the perfect balance of saltiness The ambiance was very comfortable i felt cozy in the table. The burger made me think back at all the greatest burgers i have had over the years and it was added to that list.
A no frills and honest fast-ish food joint, that lets you navigate between stomach-challenging burgers and balancing salads. Their portions are big, so bring an appetite.
Bistro Burger in Great Neck is a fantastic spot for fresh, reasonably priced kosher food. Their menu is perfect for lunch, offering delicious options that are flavorful, satisfying, and prepared with care.
I love it love I love! This place is a gem!!!! I love this place! I have not had food of such high-quality in ages! The chef is European you can just tell….
Tried for the first time. Delicious food! Burger was cooked as ordered, zucchini fries and chicken tenders were so tasty! I took to go but the girl at the counter was friendly when I arrived. Looking forward to trying their other items! Good portions and prices are fine considering kosher and cost of biz in NY. 🍔
Excellent food. Best chicken wings I've had in the last 30 years. Wife had the special and enjoyed every bite. Owner is a gracious host. Had a lovely chat with him. (P.S. Bathroom is very clean.) I plan to be back, soon !
I am visiting this restaurant for the past 15 years. I started with the old location, and was very happy to discover that they reopened in their new location. The exceptional quality of the food stayed the same and possibly even got better. The management, Serge and Jordana are always friendly and welcoming. Most recently they catered a party for me, and the quality, quantity, and service were flawless. My family and I will be customers forever.
Update: much thanks to everyone there! Great food as always, service was tremendously improved yesterday. Old review: Food still great. Service horrible since hire of most recent waitress. Not only is she abysmal at dealing with customers but she's chatty with the other wait staff. Getting rid of her would be addition to the wait staff by subtraction. Won't be back till there's a change.
Good food, but unfriendly & unaccommodating service. They even automatically add tip for parties of 2 when the service I got didn't deserve a tip.
Great food but ownership needs a revamp. Charging for sauce that makes your food what it is is a no no in my book. Management can be nicer to the customers who are supporting their business. Overall the food itself is great though.
Food is great but they are very dishonest. They have a menu with prices but charge you $2-$5 more per item without telling you in advance that they raised their prices. Be very careful here because you are sure to get ripped off and they blame it on "computer function," but refuse to let you pay the prices on the menu. It's a big shill game.
for the past 7 years I have been trying to remember the name of this place so that i could absolve myself of the guilt of not warning others (my wife just found it again), do with this information what you will but don't say i didn't warn you. me and my wife visited this place back in 2019, we were absolutely famished and the aroma coming from within the Bistro was intoxicating, little did we know that we were about to embark on the single greatest regret of our restraint experiencing lives. We walked in and the place was empty, this wasn't an immediate red flag since it was a week day and after the typical lunch rush hours, we figured we lucked out and missed the crowd, how foolish we were. I placed what i believed to be the simplest order in the universe, 2 burgers with fries on the side, paid for the food and sat down to wait. the first 20 minutes i was understanding, maybe they weren't expecting that many customers before dinner time?! the next 20 minutes i grew impatient, but stood fast on the idea that no place that smelled that good could possibly let you down, right?! after 1 hour and 15mins had elapsed (all the while not another single other customer had entered the restaurant) i was furious. the food finally showed up and if my appetite hadn't been ruined from the wait then it was certainly ruined from the driest, most over cooked, under seasoned, pathetic excuse of a burger i had the displeasure of forcing myself to experience. Well why'd you eat it? you may ask. Maybe it was the fact that i had already paid 47.50 for the food and i was that hungry, maybe it was that i needed to eat it all to truly understand what it was that they had done to me, maybe i just wanted something to hate, i honestly couldn't tell you why i did it, but what i do know is that this place has haunted me ever since. sometimes i close my eyes at night and remember, then lay in my bed restless.
They have really delicious amazing food but their problem is they don’t give enough of salad bar to people. Many people have such complaint but they do not care to be reasonable. That’s not right. People order big orders and they should serve salad bar in a 4 inch plate with no refills. This is ridiculous and wrong.
We walked in, ignored by staff. Had to order at the first desk. Later, the waitress and front counter guy came and said that an item on the menu was only for take out and it was on the dine in menu. We asked why. Front counter guy rolled his eyes. When I confronted him, he started to walk away. One of the owners came by to ask what happened. No apology of not even an offer to compensate something. Not that I was looking for it. It just would have been a nice gesture. My family and I will never return. Nor would I remotely recommend this place at all. Service if I could would be a 0, food was edible but definitely not worth the price of admission. Find another place best advice.
