Witches Village Cafe Greenwich Reviews
Their sandwiches and salads are very delicious but the standout for us was their desserts. In particular, they always have a large selection of homemade fruit and cream pies. My grandmother would have approved.
Stopped in on the way to Glens Falls. What a catch! Superb menu with a lot of homemade ingredients and recipes. Was not that hungry, so ordered a salad and BAM! it was colossal and had a bunch of toppings. It filled me up nicely! Service was friendly and informative. Want to go back and try breakfast. Looks pretty popular, so maybe avoid prime times.
Great place for real food! It's not very big inside so be aware at winter time. They have plenty of tables outside during the summer. The food we had for breakfast was awesome, the fluffiest French toast ever and my omelette was soo perfect. I also tried their soup over a period of time and again; really tasteful. Their home baked pies, muffins, cookies etc.are so delicious! The price is worth your order. The coffee is good. I didn't find anything to complain about except I wish the whipped cream on the waffles was not from a bottle but that's a very small thing, that's why I ranked all 5 stars.
This place has an awesome vibe! The place was packed for lunch. The waitstaff runs around constantly serving all the tables well. It was so relaxing, and the good was great!
We ate here on a busy Saturday. They serve breakfast all day which is great. The 3 cheese omelet and the big combination breakfast my got were hot and delicious. Never had a bad meal here, and the staff is lovely.
Great food. Their pancakes were huge. Plate size huge. We got great service. Nice and very clean.
This place is amazing. Friendly staff, quick service, cozy food and atmosphere! Definitely would recommend. A great place to stop if you are traveling or vacationing
I've had omelets from dozens of restaurants in the Capital District, and the Witches Village Cafe makes the best by a huge margin. First of all, they use an omelet pan (not a griddle), and the omelets end up thick and fluffy, probably twice the thickness of others.. They are always yellow, not burned brown, like some places. The vegetables are fresh and browned before added, and not frozen. The fillings are generous. The toast is always above average - I like the sour dough toast, myself. Last time we went, I ordered a single buttermilk pancake for the table to share. I'm not a big fan of restaurant pancakes, but this one was delicious. It was thick (at first I thought we got two pancakes by mistake), huge (I'm glad I only ordered one), without any funny flavors (common with some pancake mixes), and not overly sweet. They serve real maple syrup, and it's worth it. We've made pancakes from scratch at home a hundred times. These were better than homemade. Don't tell my wife. There are times when the place gets crowded. If it's a nice day, we enjoy having the outside dining option.
Busy on a rainy day but there were tables available. Waitress friendly and we were served fast. Breakfast served all day and the double stack blueberry pancakes were delicious. Had The Hill sandwich with lightly breaded chicken breast with roasted red pepper slices , lettuce, tomato and a wonderful herb aioli on hard roll.
Thank you for your hospitality and an excellent lunch! Everything was just perfect so I wanted to give a shout out. Everyone there always makes me feel so appreciated and the food is excellent. Recommending the wraps for lunch! They travel well too! Thanks again!
Although, I’ve never sat to have a meal in this wonderful establishment. I have popped in for a little snack when I’m in that neck of the woods. And their cookies are phenomenal! The variety, the freshness, I cannot say enough, good things. Their staff is also super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to get back to their neighborhood.
Food very good they were busy but still had good response to customer services
I payed too much for a subpar burger. Also they played into the COVID hysteria and they were asking for people's phone numbers for government tracking purposes when I went there. I decided to never come back. Why would I overpay for subpar burgers and give money to people who will go along with government tyranny. No thanks.
