Tacos Guanajuato Reviews
We were in the mood for Mexican lunch decided to try this place out and definitely not disappointed plenty of parking. The atmosphere was definitely traditional, and we were greeted by a lovely host. They were very attentive to our needs. We ordered chicken fajitas and nachos from the appetizer menu. The fajitas came out of piping hot with a side of refried beans and rice. Absolutely amazing. The nachos were a corn nacho loaded with heaps of rice hamburger, lettuce, tomato queso, and cheese. It Was delicious and definitely not your typical go to Mexican spot more traditional for sure will definitely go back
Im from Longhwarf New Haven, home of the taco trucks. I stopped in late for something to hold me over til I got home. Seen they had Tinga so went with that. The sauce they served it with was really good. Id reccomend it for sure.
They have the best tortillas for burritos that I have found in all of Connecticut and even in Southern Florida where I used to live. The asada burrito I had tasted just like when I had when I used to live in San Diego that I loved! Can't wait to go back!
Love this place, literally everything we have had is so good- fresh and full of flavor. The jalapeno margaritas are unreal, made with fresh juices- and the owner Olga is just about the nicest person you will ever meet!
We love it here. Their food is always great and I'm happy they offer delivery through Doordash now. Their guacamole is amazing and the portion is very generous. The owner and entire staff have always treated our entire family very well and we love when we have time to stop in or at least order for delivery!
This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. This was a great food experience. I had four different tacos, an Al Pastor Torta, and chicken flautas. The torta was really good, great flavor and loaded with food. The flautas had a nice light crispy shell and all white meat chicken. Great stuff. The tacos all had excellent flavor and were the best of the bunch. And a very nice young lady manning the counter just made it better. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.1.
I’m not sure why the reviews are so harsh for this place! I went here with my coworkers after work and had an amazing experience. We all had margaritas. I had a jalapeño margarita, my coworker had strawberry and then my other coworker had mango and strawberry mixed together. I thought the presentation was awesome on the margs! And then food!! Omg the food was so good. I had the torre de mariscos and for the price I got more than my moneys worth. The presentation was awesome and flavor was even better. Lastly I want to talk about the service we received. The waitress who attended to us was super nice! She made what was already a 10/10 experience, an 11/10. We will definitely be returning for girls night in the future!
We ordered off this place off doordash. We ordered chicken taquitos and birria tacos. The taquitos were so dry and bland. There was some red sauce in the bag that we used for them, it helped but it was still so bland. No flavor at all. We also ordered birria tacos, those tasted better but they didn’t have much flavor either. The side of rice and beans were alright, they tasted better than everything else we ordered. Overall we were disappointed. I don’t think we would order here again but if we did, we would try other menu items.
My order was made incorrectly, and instead of fixing it, they blamed me for not asking the right way. It was really rude, and they didn’t even try to compensate for the mistake.
Taco bowl 20 way to much , rice was bland the floutas was cold..... Way to dark to eat in the evening need more lighting.... I'll pass won't go back
The tacos were very bland, the meat was super dry, and everything was pretty expensive for what you got ($5 for a Jarrito) i would not eat here again, very disappointing
