Nimble & Finn's Guerneville Reviews
Stopped by after a hike in the redwoods. Cute little place but no public restroom made it a little inconvenient for those that needed to use the bathroom. Had the peanut butter fudge and my kids had the cookies and cream. We were able to accommodate a large group of us and the staff was really friendly. Would come back again to try something else when I’m back in the area.
my group stopped in after a day on the river and i’m so glad that we did. since we had so many folks we tried almost every flavor before ordering: lavender honey comb, whiskey butterscotch, cafe cubano, and bourbon plum were all heavy contenders. i couldn’t choose which one i wanted and luckily off menu you’re able to get a split scoop of two different flavors. my choice: lavender honeycomb and bourbon plum would i go back? ABSOLUTELY
𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝟓 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬. I’ve been known to give five stars to places that win off of aura alone and this place is no different! And ice cream store inside of a bank??? How could I say no? It also helps that the flavors here are incredible and pack a lot of flavor. Unfortunately, the seating isn’t that great inside of the store especially if it’s packed – but I came for ice cream and ice cream is what I got. I had the lavender honeycomb ice cream and I cannot be more happy with the decision I made.
The husband and I were in town for a day night and we decided to explore the main streets. We stopped by Nimble and Finn's since it was pretty warm out. We didn't realize it was an ice cream place since it was located inside an old bank. Everything looks renovated and beautiful. The line outside the door was what drew is on and I must, it did not disappoint! The service, food, location were all great! I found out that the ice cream is handmade by these two women in Santa Rosa. This is a second location. We'll definitely be coming back when we're in the area!
We were craving dessert and thankfully this place was opened a little bit later than most. I loved the bank turned ice cream shop idea. It looks like the building stayed in good shape. The ice cream flavors were unique and good. I had the lavender honeycomb and mint. There was only one table inside and it was too cold to sit outside. Staff is really nice. I would recommend this place.
Stellar flavors, lovely staff and atmosphere! If you are in Guernville for dining, shopping, or tourism, this is a must for dessert!
Great little ice cream shop in the heart of downtown Guerneville. They have a Cantaloupe sorbet that I’d recommend that packs a ton of flavor, while showing a very mature sensibility regarding level of sweetness. The business is inside of the old Guerneville bank - which adds a cool ambiance to the entire enterprise. The old vault now serves as a photo both, for those into that kind of thing.
Best ice cream in Sonoma County. Period. I have dreams about their Lavender Honeycomb flavor. If you have the opportunity to stop in, do it.
Delicious unique flavors. I had a crème brûlée espresso milkshake with whipped cream! Perfect for the drive back home!
Delicious different flavors. I had lavender honeycomb and cream burlee, they were both out of this world. They are located in a bank building on Main St. Customer service was awesome. I highly recommend this ice cream place :)
Enjoy good home made ice cream with some interesting flavours - lavender honeycomb, passion fruit with caramel, rose water cardamom plus the usual chocolate and vanilla flavours. Value for money if you opt for the sampler 8 scoops at $18.50 which we did for 4 of us! Yummy! Ice cream shop is in a beautiful old bank building.
Nimble & Finn’s is more than just an ice cream shop—it’s an experience. Located inside a beautifully restored old bank in downtown Guerneville, the setting is as unique and memorable as the ice cream itself. The vintage architecture gives it character, and the welcoming, relaxed vibe makes it a perfect stop on a warm day. The ice cream is handmade in small batches, with fresh ingredients and a creative lineup of seasonal flavors that rotate regularly. You can taste the care in every scoop. On our visit, the options were both inventive and delicious—and the ice cream sandwiches looked absolutely incredible (I’m already planning a return trip to try one). And then there’s the smell. The warm, sweet aroma of freshly made waffle cones hits you as soon as you walk in, adding the perfect finishing touch to an already great experience. If you’re anywhere near Guerneville, Nimble & Finn’s is definitely worth the stop. Come for the ice cream, stay for the atmosphere.

Our family stopped in tonight and LOVED it! We came to town specifically for their ice cream because it was recommended to us, and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and let me taste more than a couple flavors... The rosemary peach was my favorite. The kumquat one was also extras delicious - I would definitely suggest trying it. They also had brown butter cookies (and take home cookie dough!) that I really wish we had purchased. Their shop is inside an old bank and was really pretty inside. Neat little gem on main street in the heart of Guerneville. The shop is located in a building that used to be a bank in another life, complete with a vault. Nimble and Finn's is great for ice cream and pies, but get ready to pay for the premium treats. There are some really interesting combinations of flavors, but I was not sure I was ready to pay $38 for one pie, as delicious as it looked and is, I'm sure.
We had honeycomb lavender ice cream. The ice cream was great, but we think it is a bit too sweet. The sweetness is overpowering the lavender so we cannot really taste the lavender. Other than that, it is a really cool place, definitely worth to check it out.

Fun local ice cream shop with some traditional and unusual flavors. I'm not too adventurous when it comes to ice cream and would prefer a few more traditional flavors, but must admit the spring tip fir was surprisingly good. The ice cream was a little icy, though. Overall, a good place to stop on a warm day.
Super cute place, love how they embrace the setup of the antique bank, super creative and fun ice cream variety, but ice creams are a hit or miss for me, once I had a passion fruit that was super delicious, creamy and well executed other times the execution is not as nice, can be more icy than creamy(not talking about the sorbets of course). But everything tastes good, I'm just a texture guy, if my ice cream is not creamy it is a turn off. They also have a nicely curated wine shop within. But overall a must stop for visitors.
Excellent ice cream made with organic local ingredients. High quality. Lavender honeycomb was delicious. Well balanced, full of flavour and not too sweet. Passion fruit and other fruits sorbet also very good (most sorbets are loaded with sugar - this was delicate in flavour and not at all too sugary despite citrus fruits) Handmade waffle cones available as upgrade (which were a tad too sweet for me) Could have had a few more seats but beautiful space and building

I usually love this place but the last 6 times I’ve been here, they half pack my pint of ice cream. By the time I get home, it’s melted from the air pockets. You can easily squeeze the container. On my last visit, I politely asked the attendant to pack it more tightly, as I could easily squeeze the container. She rolled her eyes and insisted she already filled it but turned around and gently pushed it down more without adding any additional ice cream. I think this is simply blasphemous coming from a place charging $12 for a pint. Go to Angela’s in Forestville or screamin Mimi’s in Sebastopol.
WARNING THEY HAVE ANTS. I found one in my ice cream cup. As someone who works in customer service, I was appalled by how rude and unprofessional the staff was. I let one of the employees there know about the insect only to be told "I'm sorry". I had just spent $30 on two ice-cream cups and a pint. I asked if we could have an espresso and this female employee had the nerve to rudely tell me "I could have given you another ice cream but I won't give you the coffee on the house" when I insisted on not paying for the $5 coffee due to the fact that there was an insect crawling around in my food. Please save yourself some time and money and go to Screamin Mimis in Sebastopol. This place is disgraceful.

Back when I was pregnant, this place was a go to with friendly staff, yummy and interesting flavors/ shakes and awesome frozen cookies to bake at home. There’s some really sweet staff and then….. some apathetic and extremely rude ones/ the to extent that I haven’t gone back. It was as if we were bothering her by being there. Young blonde. Three strikes im out. Rather grab Ben and Jerry’s at Safeway!
