Posto Pazzo Halesite Reviews
My boyfriend and I met some friends at Posto Pazzo. WOW! I am so glad our friends choose this Italian restaurant in Huntington. This is real Italian food. I ordered the Pappardelle Carbonara w/o any meat. This is the most delicious I have had in 25 years, since I had it in Venezuela from another real Italian Restaurant. Great choices in the extensive menu, lovely atmosphere and excellent service. You must stop at Posto Pazzo for lunch or dinner while visiting Huntington.
We just had 85 people plus 5 kids for a celebration of life luncheon for my brother who passed recently. It was held with all the adults in the main area of the restaurant while kids table and buffet was in patio area which had the doors open. Luigi chose the food for the buffet and was great about asking me the questions that mattered (I forgot to request dessert so they made fresh napoleon cake). The staff was so attentive whether I needed another setting at a table for a guest or just making sure people got the drinks they wanted. I was able to set up two TVs for slide show and videos as well as a portable PA system. They made what could be a tough day so easy. Everyone raved about the food as well as the venue. Thank you Joey and Luigi.
The food here is delicious and they give good portions. They don't make you feel rushed to turn over the table and the atmosphere was decorated for the holidays. Parking can be tricky because the lot is behind the restaurant and there is one way in and out.
We love this restaurant. Pasta is home made. Food is excellent Will make to order. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you want delicious food you cannot go wrong.
The restaurant is very good. My husband and I have gone several times. Luigi is great and runs his business so well. We recommend this restaurant to everyone!
We stopped in for lunch, chicken franchise was excellent, service and atmosphere was the also excellent. I've been back 2 xs and very satisfied. I recommend 👍👍
Everything in the restaurant was great, the food service, but to there was hardly any water views as they are claiming to have. The interior design of the patio was beautiful though.
Posto Pazzo is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Huntington. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and inviting. The staff always greets you with a smile and treats you like family. The dining area is spacious and comfortable, and there’s a real sense of care in how everything is set up. My go to dishes are the twisted ravioli and the homemade gnocchi. The twisted ravioli is packed with flavor and has a perfect texture. It’s one of those dishes that keeps you coming back. The gnocchi is soft and pillowy, cooked perfectly every single time. You can taste the quality in every bite. Everything on the menu tastes homemade and fresh. The food is consistently excellent, the portions are generous, and the presentation is beautiful. Whether you’re sitting down for a quiet dinner or celebrating something special, Posto Pazzo always delivers. I’ve been to many Italian restaurants over the years, but none of them compare to the experience here. If you’re in the Huntington area and want authentic Italian food made with love, this is the place to go.
5 stars across the board Special occasions is where they SHINE ! Whether a private event in the garden or a large gathering in the fountain room...attention to detail and your needs will be easily surpassed! Joey will personally make sure that everything is perfect!!! Inquire about platters ...their seafood salad is off the chain!!
Posto Pazzo was absolutely amazing! This old-school Italian restaurant has been around for more than 20 years, and you can taste why — the food is always fresh and delicious. I love the cozy, welcoming vibe, especially seeing the ingredients displayed like in a traditional Italian eatery. It truly feels like home every time. Staff is very nice.
Today I was craving Italian food, and my partner and I went here for the first time. It was a cozy place, everything was clean, and a nice place. The service was very good, and the food was good. The dress code was semi-casual. If you want something different, come and visit this place. I recommend it.
Across the street from the water this restaurant has great food. Started off with a free basket of bread that was out on table with small rice balls and breadsticks. Waiter attentive and great service. Pasta was homemade and very tasty. Salads were awesome. Great dessert choices. Nice bar area to wait or hang out by. Gets crowded on a Saturday night so be sure you make reservations.
My wife and I went to Tutu Pazzo with another couple and had a very nice dinner. It all started with a nice bread dish but also had rice balls in it. For starters my wife and I shared artichoke hearts with goat cheese and it was excellent. My entrée was the risotto with sausage and broccoli Rabe . I really loved it. My wife Had fettuccine with shrimp and she really enjoyed it. Overall it was a very nice meal and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I went on a Sunday for lunch and as soon as you enter the location is really nice and elegant. I ordered a negroni and it was really good. To start we ordered french fries and they were tasty, I also ordered a cold appetizer and the presentation is really scenic but if you look carefully there is some plantain and dried oranges and I don't think they are a good choice for an Italian appetizer. The staff was very professional and welcoming. All in all it was a positive experience, I will return soon.
Food and service were very good! Bar area is great with a nice friendly bartender who did a great job with my negroni. Also a nice amenity was home made potato chips on the bar. The food was nicely prepared and presented. Reasonably priced as well. I ordered the linguine with grilled shrimp which was good but lacking depth of flavor. I had to dump lots of grated Parmesan cheese on it too give it a semblance of salt since there was no salt and pepper on the table. Other than that, the choices are excellent and I will go back to give it another shot.
This is a place that I’ve been meaning to try forever. However with so many Italian restaurants on Long Island it kept falling off the list. We arrived at noon on Saturday and the place was empty. We were greeted and immediately shown to a beautiful table with a harbor view. The menu is extensive, featuring a smaller portion lunch option. We started with clams oreganato. My husband thought it was the best he has ever had. I thought they were good but preferred something a little less saucy. The petite clams had a crisp breadcrumb topping under a rich lemon cream sauce. We certainly enjoyed soaking the sauce with the bread. This isn’t just any Italian restaurant. The star here is fresh house made pasta. If you have never had fresh pasta before you must try! It is a completely different experience than fresh made and refrigerated or box pasta. We finished with in house made tiramisu. It was awesome and tasted just like our Italian friend makes homemade for special occasions. Fresh cake and solid espresso warrants a crowd just for that. I usually keep my reviews simple. This is a MUST for anyone who truly appreciates authentic Italian cooking. Fresh pasta and fresh desserts. You swear there is an army of Nonna’s in the back. PS: our waiter was first class and there was a changing table in the women’s restroom.
If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy dinner with friends or grab an appetizer with a drink, check this place out! The food was good! But! The hidden gem was the Dubai Bar! You know the one you see being eaten on social media that you can't get in the US, we'll now you can! It was delicious! Plus it has a view of the water! Plenty of parking and away from the busy village if you are looking to go to dinner before a show.
For non-italians, this restaurant would probably receive a positive rating. For those of us who appreciate excellent Italian cusine, this place is seriously overpriced for mediocre food. Most of the waiters are professional, some need more training. The noise level is a little to high. The owner is not very pleasant. A friendly smile to greet customers would be helpful. If you are in the area, go to Piccolo's or even Sal D's for better food.
The restaurant itself is a very nice set up. I used to go here years ago and comparing it to now it has definitely gone down hill on certain factors. Service was not great, took so long to get bread after asking multiple times to the staff, drinks were decent but they had brought over the wrong drink originally and had to correct it. Food was ok, it was honestly a bit cold by the time it got to the table. Our party all left feeling unsatisfied with the entire visit. Everything was just ok and for the price you expect to get hot food and the things you ordered without so many issues. No one wants to have to keep asking the staff for the same things multiple times. If it was just the bread they forgot to bring one time it would be not even a thought. But the amount of time we asked and then the drink issue and then on top of that the food coming out not even hot was very disappointing. Used to love this place but I most likely won’t be back after this visit.
Called and made reservations arrived and got seated very quickly they didn’t have the table set for 11 people drinks took long to refill drinks and ask for refill on bread which we never got the food was very good but the service wasn’t good
