Inconsistent service takes the joy out of the experience. It’s not a super high traffic area, so you can definitely get in and out quickly. However, they always forget ingredients, even when you discuss the ingredient list at the counter. A few weeks ago, they gave me unripe, inedible, and super hard, big slices of kiwi. Not even sure how she was able to slice it. I recently got a power bowl and there was zero protein in it. For $15, that’s really annoying and I expect way better. A certain few of the servers are usually unpleasant, it’s a gamble every time you go in. Honestly takes the joy out of going for what could be great bowls and a pleasant experience. Go to another location.

Visited around 9:40 AM on Labor Day! Wanted a morning treat from our favorite Playa Bowls. The woman at the cash register wearing blue scrubs and microbladed eyebrows had a big attitude and made the experience very uncomfortable. My boyfriend accidentally pronounced "dulce" wrong and she corrected him saying, "Don't you mean dulce???" with a nasty face. I greeted her nicely in the beginning and she threw attitude right away. We were ready to pay with our card and she walked away to the back and had to ask the other girl to check the register if it was okay to pay, just awkward. She also made her coworkers very uncomfortable. Sending sos to the other coworkers, she is scary! Other than that, our Playa Bowl was amazing as always! ...better at the location beside our house because the service is better 😩

I went in to try playa bowl for the first time and i got the tropical acai bowl. I took a bite and the blend tasted like freezer burn. It was also super watery. Definitely dont recommend!! I asked if i couldn't get a change of blend, just to give playa bowl another chance after paying $15(not including tip). And the employee was so rude. He was very sassy and rude. I was told i would have to pay full price for another bowl. I asked if i could just get a refund and again the employee was rude. I honestly felt bad even going up to ask them if they could change it or get a refund bc i didnt want to be that person. But in the end i paid with my money and i should be able to say something if it didnt taste right.

We ordered $66.50 worth of bowls and food The aloha smoothie tasted bland and could hardly taste the banana. We politely asked for some adjustments like a sweet item. Molly said we would have to go in line and pay for any additions. I then told her I’d like a refund and she refused. I asked to speak to speak to the owner and when she spoke to him he refused to speak to me and said this one time they will give me a drop of agave syrup Terrible customer service ! I came from Las Vegas where they understands customer service and satisfaction

I went in around 7:45 pm and the 2 workers declined my order, when I asked why as it says on google they close 9pm they answered "we had too many orders today and we don't want to stay here until 12am to clean up" ????!!!!!!!!!!

The workers, especially the girl with glasses, had a negative attitude as soon as I walked in. I said hello and received no response back. As I’m looking at the menu, they give me blank stares and eye rolls; unfortunately it was my first time there. Disrespect all around the place. I thought the bowl would make up for it, but it came out entirely liquidity. Do not recommend.

I came in to the store,The workers were so busy talking to each other .. laughing and having fun. Finally they made my order I saw it wasn’t the things I ordered.. I never had such a bad experience at playa bowl! I’m Realy disappointed

Rude and unsanitary - server dripped dirty water into the smoothy, and then used fingers to wipe the edge of the cup before serving. I don’t recommend anything at the Woodbury Commons location. It was filthy.

My wife and I are completely shocked by the experience we had from the staff at this location. After they made a mistake on our order, they said they would re-create the açai bowl for us. After about 15 minutes of waiting and nothing came, I went to check if it was ready. The manger then walks over to me and says “you’re going to have to reorder, we are not a charity” I was absolutely shocked!! Never experienced such terrible customer service from all the staff at this location . Big fan of Playa bowls other than this experience.
