Tacos Los Gemelos Harris County Reviews
Amazing food & love their horchata!
Very nice Taco truck. Delicious food. There was a line around lunchtime but it moved very fast. The food was hot and tasty. We got our order in less than five minutes. They had a nice crowd of people so they are popular. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
I've been coming here for about 10 years and it's always been great...Every. Single. Time. I always get their barbacoa tacos. Juicy, flavorful, and tender. They top their tacos with fried onions. No other places takes the extra time to do this and it's such a nice touch and gives their tacos a unique flavor profile. Their green and red sauces are permanent staples and for good reason as they add a slight kick and another layer of flavor. This place is a 9/10 for me.
Fantastic food, it was an accident to order barbacoa with fajita in my quesadilla. Great flour tortillas. I eat their pastor the day before and had to go again. The only thing is that you have to have cash. Also appreciate since I don't speak Spanish that they have people that speak English.
One of my favorite places to eat by my parents house. Never fails and the food is always amazing. Never have gotten an order wrong and the staff is pretty nice, except this one person that works there at the register they always seem to have an attitude. Idk if they are miserable or maybe hate me lol but besides them the place is great. P.S I’m not sure if that person is male or female but I’m sure they know who I’m referring too.
awesome little taco shop, but not the cheapest. CASH ONLY! try the hamburguesas mexicanas. they have covered dining area and clean bathrooms. food is fresh and delicious every time i've been here.
My husband and I like coming here for breakfast when we go to visit his dad, across the street at Houston's Veterans Memorial Cemetery. We always order the same thing. During Hurricane Beryl, we were charged $30 for 3 small corn tripa, 2 flour eggs and potatoes, 1 corn beef fajita tacos, 3 sodas. Yes, we didn't have to pay but my husband had to take his meds with food and it's already 11:00 AM, we also had a grandchild with us. Leaving and going somewhere else just to drive, park, order, wait, and sit to eat, just to come back to the cemetery and check on his dad's grave, wasn't an option at this time. Needless to say, I'm sure their business won't suffer if we don't go there anymore but we won't be going back.
*** Cash Only in 2024** This place is a staple in the neighborhood. Food is very good. The staff is friendly and courteous. It loses a point for being cash only and for the recent price increases, which I guess is happening everywhere. When I see a place that is cash only, it gives the perception that the owners don't care about making it easier for the customer and also that they don't care for the safety of the employees.
Taco’s are mid the tripa was okay pastor not so much. The charro beans had no flavor I feel like it’s a lil expensive compared to other’s in the area.
Horrible experience. The owner asked my Pakistani friend why is he hanging with me, I'm African America. My friend asked me what does 'miho' mean. He had mistaken my friend for being Latino. Racist like this should not serve the public. I told him that My friend was pakistanny and didn't even know what you called him. To top it all off the racist put hard leather/ skin in my burrito. I haven't been back in 9 years. This is typical and it should of been expected because the service is horrible. The taco stand on Veterans & Gears, LAZ TREZ REYNAZ, has way better food and their service is just as good as their food.
The food is so bad, an absolute abomination to be charging $3 a taco for it to be salty and dry as hell. Not even my dog wanted to finish eating the meat pieces on the ground. Won't ever be back
Use ro eat at this place frequently when the food truck was by the street, until one day they move to the back in the actual building and I finally got to what goes in the kitchen with the food preparation, at one time and my last ocation I order a torta, what I sow there make me not to ever come to this place ever again, the torta breads where out of the bag and Flys where all over the bread.
