Dunkin' Donuts Hewlett Reviews
The kosher Dunkin’ Donuts in Hewlett is such a great spot to grab a coffee and something sweet on the go. Staff is friendly, the service is quick, and everything is always fresh. It’s clean, convenient, and consistently pleasant whether you’re stopping in for a morning coffee or a treat later in the day. Really nice to have a kosher Dunkin’ in the neighborhood — highly recommend!
Ordered ahead for $5 meal deal, iced coffee was correct, food was warm. I’m always at this location too
Over all a good dunking kosher good staff
Great Dunkin' Donuts food and service. This venue is also kosher! Conveniently located right near the train.
Forgot my cold foam because i added it to my order. When adding, just double check you're order but definitely put extra on even tho the cold foam needed a new can. Came oit like water.
Typical DD fare but with kosher restrictions and substitutions. The staff at this location are always very nice, and the service is quick. Conveniently located right by the Hewlett LIRR station if you want to grab a sandwich, a coffee or a snack while waiting for your train.
We drove over to Hewlet to meet our friends for lunch. Unfortunately, we were too early so we looked for a nice coffee shop to hang out but could not find one. So we stopped at this DD by the train station. Parking was easy in front of the DD. We have been here before and it was not busy. There are a few tables and chairs inside. This time it was very busy so no place to sit. We got our coffee and had to go sit in our car with the AC running. Not much fun.
Maybe the masks makes it hard to hear but I ordered one thing and received another but because it was still drinkable I kept it anyways. It was only ice tea. Also they’re kosher so keep that in mind when ordering. However their pastries were so fresh and yummy which is rare at many other locations. Staff was very nice and welcoming.
First of all, App said they have drive up service - they don't. There's a walk-up window but you can barely see where it is unless you're already right in front of it - no sign sticking out, just a sign inside the window - and it's not near any parking spaces (in fact there's a fire hydrant right in front of it) so by the time you park around the corner on the dead end street, walk over to the window, and back, you really haven't saved any time by ordering "drive up." By the time I figured this out my coffee was cold because I'd spent a good few minutes waiting at the curb by the entrance for the drive up delivery as instructed by the app. Another time I went in for donuts. Granted it was near the end of the day but still only around 5:30 pm, and there were hardly any donuts. Only a few flavors and just a few of each except the plain plain. Didn't seem especially fresh. When I called to clarify what the story was with my drive up order that wasn't coming out, the guy on the phone was pretty cranky. Maybe he gets this a lot with the mistaken app and poor signage? In which case you'd think they'd do something. Anyway. Next time I'm going to drive an extra 5ish minutes to a different Dunkin because I've had much better experiences in both Lawrence and valley stream depending which way you want to go.
Stick to the hot or cold coffee drinks that are good. Skip the donuts and muffins that are old and stale. One donut had an off taste as if it was cooked in old oil and taste of bug spray. It's very small, so you really can't stay in there to eat. Parking is limited. You have to hunt for a spot.
I ordered on mobile and they forgot to add my veggie bacon in one of my sandwiches and also only gave me one sandwich when I ordered two. This has been a reoccurring problem at this location where u guys keep forgetting to add things to orders or forget the order as a whole.
Everytime I go there, the donuts are getting smaller and smaller but still the same price ? Its called stealing my money. The owner who i see every once in awhile should do something about it. Or should I contact corporate ?
Bad experience and unfriendly workers including the manager. Will not be ordering from this store any more.
I’ve been going to this location because it’s closer for me to work however, one time they wouldn’t give me my drink that I paid for and another time I ordered to the wrong location so I just asked him if they could make it for me cause I go there all the time so I didn’t think five dollars was a big deal to them. They would not make my drink for me and I will not be going back to that location ever again. They’re also super rude all the time.
This is the second time I ordered something and sitting down eating it and have been told to leave or if I am waiting on something. I was just asked by someone, an older man, on April 26, 2024 at 12.45 what am I waiting on. I don't know if because I am black. But just to let them know they are not white either. Tell your staff to stop being racist against black people. Our money is green as well.
They forgot to make my order. When they made it they forgot to add to add the soy sausage. So the manager told the individual who made the sandwich to put it in she put it in FROZEN. I hate incompetence. They were always excellent. They weren’t even apologetic. This is the last time I will go to this establishment. I would like someone from upper management to get in touch with me
I don’t take the time to write negative reviews, however this needs to be said. This is a small Dunkin’ Donuts serving a suburban community so donuts and coffee are definitely a “thing”. How is it that they are always in a state of preparing to close an hour before the stated ACTUAL closing time? Equipment is being cleaned during business hours so you cannot order any coffee related drinks donuts are stacked on TOP of the case outside in the OPEN (gross) where is management? Last I checked you do not close up equipment until you are actually CLOSED. How unprofessional. If you close at 5pm then state that. You close at 6pm however all employees are shutting down machines and customers have 0 to purchase that’s safe for human consumption? It begs the question again where is management??? Strictly from a business standpoint how does the owner allow a business to stop making profit an hour before the ACTUAL stated closing time? Do better. The Hewlett-Woodmere community are steadfast patrons, just ask the Starbucks on the other end. Step up the quality of service, of baked goods and at base don’t allow employees to shut down equipment and be cleaning out leaving food unsanitary out in the open. We the customers would love to patronize the business during its posted open hours.
