Great food. Good service. The best fritas around Miami.

This is the best Pan con Bistec and Cafe con Leche I have ever had. The egg is still runny and the steak is tender, the salty fries bring it all together making my mouth water just thinking about it. Along with the fun and inviting staff enforcing their, "it's not BK, you can't have it your way" policy, just makes the experience that much better. Def recommend 👌.

OMG It's a small place full of flavor definitely the best sandwich I've had and the prices are very good. The food is a jolt of flavor that makes your taste buds go crazy for more. You enjoy every bite you take really yummy place. The service is awesome.

Tasty, delightful, real Cuban cuisine. If you want to know what real typical Miami Cuban food is DON’T GO TO LA CARRETA OR CASAVANA. Go to EL REY DE LAS FRITAS. Any cuban in Miami- Hialeah - Havana will tell you. The fritas are a sandwich made of Smashed pork sausage with a dark red orange color toped with crunchy potato fries and cuban bread. You can also get a fried egg on top and or a slice of american cheese. Sandwiches are a little bigger than white castle burgers and smaller than a Mcdees cheese burger. Its worth the 15 minute ride or if your from out of town. Peace and good eatings. Thumbs up this review if helpful. 👍🏼

Food is always fire. Parking is limited. Seating also limited and uncomfortable but the fritas are always hitting the spot. Frituras de malangas greasy but also great.

I used to come to this place with my dad for their empanadas and I we always loved it. The service is great.

I had a delicious and hot “Pan con Bistec a Caballo.” I also had a wheat milkshake and a flan, everything was delicious. The service was fast, and even the women’s restroom was clean and fully stocked. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

I don't know why these Fritas aren't being named top burger in Florida. The flavor, the ingredients, the juiciness....this burger just doesn't miss! We need one in Orlando!

Good tasting Frita and frituritas de malanga. The service was fast and the price is very reasonable. The batido de mamey is made w condensed milk, which is great for many Cubans. However, although I’m an older Cuban, I don’t like the after taste of the condensed milk in my Mamey shake.

Being a native 305 I've never passed up an opportunity for a good frita and shake. This place doesn't change. They are constant, affordable, fresh food and the service is always good. There's plenty of seating and if you come early you can have the place to yourself. I ordered a frita and my coworker had a pan con biste. The food is made to order as well as it taste delicious. It may not be the healthiest choices however life is short. If you want to taste an original Cuban spot then you won't be disappointed.

We usually visit El Rey de las Fritas at Calle 8 and wanted to try this location. While our experience was good, we noticed a few differences: food is tastier at the Calle 8 location, like the Frita is juicier; also, at Calle 8 staff are way friendlier and the overall atmosphere of the place is more vibrant. In general, we enjoyed our fritas and highly recommend this place, but we find a more pleasurable experience visiting the Rey de las Fritas at Calle 8.

Showed up at their opening time and it was closed. Miami huh. Even the door has a sign that confirms the same opening time but I guess nobody showed up

I grew up going to El Rey de las Fritas with my parents, so it has always been a place I associated with great memories and great Cuban burgers. Because of that, I ordered four burgers today for my mother and myself. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The burgers lacked flavor, were cold, and the cheese was barely noticeable—you could not see or taste it. I ordered delivery, but that should not have been an issue since I live only five minutes away. Because the food was in such poor condition, I decided to go back to the restaurant to ask if they could be remade. When I explained the situation, the woman at the counter told me that the burgers did have cheese, but that it was very little and placed on the bottom, making it hard to see or taste. She also said the food was probably cold because delivery took too long, which made no sense given how close I live. There was no effort to fix the issue or accommodate me in any way. After an awkward moment, I apologized, thanked her, took the same cold burgers, and left. When I got home and explained what happened, my mom told me she and my father had gone there a few months ago and also had a bad experience. Even so, I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt because of how much we used to enjoy it. I work in the restaurant industry myself, and while I understand that the customer is not always right, there should still be some effort to address concerns when a customer is genuinely dissatisfied. That effort was completely lacking here. If you are craving a Cuban burger, I would not recommend this location. There are two other locations in Miami that may be worth trying instead. Sadly, this one does not come close to what it used to be and feels like a waste of hard-earned money.

Quality seemed low and the frita was a skinny joke. It was not like a frita that I at off a cuban food truck in the past. Tasteless bread sandwich
