Viva Brazil Restaurant Hollywood Reviews
Being able to taste authentic Brazilian cuisine is already a gift but what truly elevates the experience at Viva Brazil is the exceptional customer service. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and genuinely welcoming. Everything flowed beautifully: the food, the service, and the ambiance. What made it unforgettable was the harmony between the team’s dedication and the positive energy at the table. Viva Brazil clearly does everything in their power to ensure guests feel cared for and satisfied. This is one of those places where, when you arrive with good energy, respect, and appreciation, the experience naturally becomes outstanding. The result is not just a meal, but a memory. Highly recommended for anyone who values great food, excellent service, and a joyful dining experience.
all meats were delicious, decent selection of sides, servers were all so nice, great looking restaurant, 10/10 would recommend,
Excellent Brazilian food, customer service and atmosphere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👌💯 The best Brazilian buffet in South Florida. Come with your family and enjoy. Giovanni is always focus on the details. Also, they have a room for special events.
Should be 10 stars. This place is off the charts! I came for lunch and everything was wonderful. The meat was grilled to perfection. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely the best restaurant experience I have had in far too long.
Amazing food and well priced. Customer service is great. Servers are attentive and always making sure the customer has everything they need. Rony was a great help. Special thanks to him for going beyond and preparing delicious Brazilian style meats (churrasqueria). The place is well recommended. All you can eat at a decent price. We'll worth it.
This is our favorite place my son and I for quality time moment. My son love this place and always happy when I bring him there. This is a Brazil style buffet restaurant. The quality is wonderful. Just walk to the chef to get your type of meat you want and it will cut it in front of you, but make sure to tell him how you like your meat to be cooked. Cool chef btw. We are going there on a regular basis and we love it..
Very nice place. Buffet style and everything was delicious. I particularly loved the meat section. A lot of different options and everyone is so nice. We felt at home. It is a little pricey but worth it.
Calm, classy, discreet, and delicious. A welcome surprise that’s walking distance from my Airbnb.
This experience was amazing. 6 years ago when this place first opened my ex and I ate here and came back several times . The food was good then the prices affordable. Unfortunately we bought a house and moved across town. While visiting my Daughter today I asked her if she wanted to eat at a steak house and both agreed that the bigger the name the bigger the price. So out of the blue we both remembered this place and laughed I wasn't sure it was still open . She looked it up and called. Yup indeed they were open. So we gave it a shot. Best meal in forever. The owner and his brother took care of us and we were pleased to see major changes and expansion here. Ok ! The food ! It was simply amazing. Flavors beyond the norm cooked to perfection. Honestly bigger is not always better unless it's your wife and you better tell her that. Lol ! Guys we are so pleased to have found you again and you will see us soon. Promise. Thank you for the dessert hospitality and the beer suggestion 100% satisfaction 5 star plus rating. Allen Diaz
Bit of a hole in the wall. If I wasn't invited to this place by a friend, I would have never known it existed. Once you step inside you know you're in for a treat. Has a strong ambiance, All you can eat food bar and Steak + Sausages roasting on a spit. The food was surprisingly good.
Excellent food selection and really good quality meats. The waiters were very nice and they made the experience even better. At $28 per adult is not the most expensive rodizio and probably one of the best I've tried outside of Brazil.
SERIOUSLY we are foodies and I couldn’t believe this GEM was in this location!!! It’s really amazing, everything is fresh, the chefs meat is cooked perfectly!! The buffet has an eggplant Parmesan that will rock your socks! And the mini Bonge Queesh (I’m sure I spelled that wrong) I COULD LIVE Off of! But other great vegetarian options, the chicharrones, everything I tried tasted better than the last!! Service was very nice and coffee and dessert was delicious! ❤️❤️ Will definitely be back!
It's big restaurant. It is buffet style. They have an area that serves meats. There is lots of sections of children, sausages and meats. There is another section that has vegetables and another with side dishes and soups. I enjoyed my dinner. The food is good. The place has atmosphere. I do wish for music. It was to noisy. The restaurant is big and a place to watch a game. I had a great time
Since you are entering, you smell Brazil. An excellent salad bar, with a wide variety of vegetables, accompanied spectacularly served. The different options of cuts of meat make a delight for your palate. You can lift as many times as you wish to have the plate again with whatever you want. The attention of the waitresses, the grill, as well as the bar tender is simply incredible. The colors of Brazil are felt in all the décoration.
Viva Brazil!!! Indeed. Little gem, what do you know. Ok. Don't judge the place based on the outside. Romantic, personal & intimate came to mind when we walked in. Their customer service to us was outstanding. Rosie was our server and she was fun and Awesome. Meat was juicy and tender. Their buffet options were on point with the Brazilian buffet expectation. Food was constantly supervised. We had such a great time. Will come over and over again.
We celebrated our marriage party at Viva Brazil, and it was an outstanding experience. The food was delicious, offering a delightful array of flavors. The service was top-notch, and Vitor, the manager, was incredibly attentive, ensuring our celebration was perfect. Viva Brazil exceeded our expectations, making our special day truly memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a superb dining experience!
Good evening carnivores. I bring to you a humbly honest review based on a second visit to Viva Brazil. The attached pictures pertain to my first visit, yet in this review I shall coalesce two experiences. First impression was “pleasantly surprised”. The buffet option was chosen as the most ample and effective way of investigating the Brazilian cuisine on offer. In general, buffet’s of any kind are disappointing, but Viva Brazil is far from typical. The food shines, as does the service. Upon my second visit(today), on Sunday the 29th around 6pm, my waitress/server was a young Brazilian bespectacled lady willing to entertain my sense of humor with friendly banter and superbly attentive service. She took the time to instruct me on the proper pronunciation of the letter “D” in Portuguese, which should sound like the “J”, in the word “jeans”. In addition to this wonderful human relations interaction, the meat was fantastic, the flank, sirloin, steak, picanha, sausage, and ribs were stellar. The buffet sides were fresh and adequately seasoned. And to top it all off, the chef took the time to answer my query in reference to the delicious quinoa, feta, cranberry, and scallion salad which wasn’t in the buffet due to the fact that the sides are rotated. He lovingly suggested that the next time I visit, I could call in advance and request the quinoa salad. AMAZING. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and equally embracing service. The pricing is as fair as they come $29/person. Viva Brazil is definitely worth making a go to spot for repeat visits. Thank you!
Excellent Brazilian buffet style restaurant. Meat selection is very good and the quality of it is excellent. I like the fact that you go to get your meats every time you desire instead of the rodizio style that you have to wait for the meat to be delivered to your table. Side dishes selection is also very authentic. Staff is friendly and courteous. Highly recommended restaurant.
Food was really good! The people that work there are really attentive. Our server Pablo was very nice and accommodated my mom and I really well. Picanha was delicious as well as their cheese croquettes! Will be bringing my friends next time. Only thing missing for dessert was brigadeiro (Brazilian classic). They do have this caramel crepe that’s really good. Still had an amazing time!
Brazilian Steakhouse that serves delicious food with a phenomenal service. The manager who assisted us was extremely hospitable and every member of the staff was very attentive and cordial. The price of the buffet is very reasonable. I tried a couple of meat cuts and they were excellent. The picanha, sausage, lamb, rice and beans and every bite was very savory and delicious. I really enjoyed the rice, farofa and beans!!!! Overall everything was very tasty. I also ordered the maracujá caipirinha. It was excellent. The restaurant is very unique and the service provided was outstanding. I was happy to enjoyed a truly Brazilian experience. We will revisit to try the desserts! ;)
Viva Brasil was a very unique experience for me, the way that the buffet style layout was presented and what they had to offer was not your typical buffet entrees, the choices were plentiful and the food was fresh, the area that you select the fresh cut meat was incredible you can pick from up to more than 5-6 different cuts of meat from sausage, sirloin steak, chirassco, Lamb, chicken, picania which were all very tender and exploding with flavors, the Brazilian beer was very good ,seating was spacious, the dining area was clean,Customer Service was outstanding I personally will recommend yhus restaurant and Definitely will Revisit.
Food and ambiance were great. Our server Douglas was very attentive from the beginning. An overall great dining experience.
Amazing spot, the service was awesome and the food was incredible 10/10
Amazing Experience , you have to eat Here! ❤️
From the moment we stepped in and were greeted to the moment we left after paying the whole experience was amazing. Jefferson is an amazing chef, caring and very talented. This has become our favorite churrasco in Miami-Ft Laudie area. Will definitely be back and recommend to all of our friends!
Great food for the price. Super chill, very cool. Meat was excellent. Will come back for sure.
We come often on weekends to eat Brazilian barbecue and it is always a great experience, perfect place for a weekend lunch for the whole family. Food is always fresh and delicious, everyone are so friendly. Best Brazilian place in Miami.
Today I went there with family and friends we love the place, the food was incredible I love those cheese bread in the front of the salad bar. They are very nice with us! btw the grill master, Jef rocked the house. He made our experience a show
"Stepping into Viva feels like a warm welcome, with its cozy lighting and minimalist decor, balanced by subtle music in the background. The service was attentive without hovering, with Jefferson the cook was well-versed in the menu and even offering recommendations. The quality and presentation top. I'd highly recommend Viva for a romantic evening or birthday dinning. 4.5/5."
I loved it! I really enjoyed the food, everything was delicious, the lighting was low so you could enjoy and relax, the music was pleasant, and the staff was exceptional. 100% recommended.
The food was amazing, service was phenomenal, enjoyed the energy.
There is nothing but great things about this place! The food is incredible, there are so many meat options to choose from and the salad bar is great. Whenever they have the lobster bisque you can’t miss that, it’s the best! We also hosted a graduation and marriage celebration and the whole staff was so helpful and made everything go so smoothly, we will without a doubt keep coming back.
The service here was great. Jefferson did a great job, very polite and nice, he offer different cuts of meat excellent service !My mom and I were very pleased to see how well we were treated. The person at the cashier was very nice too. We will definitely come back
The staff the service and the food is absolutely delicious a must visit place.
Found this place through google search and let me tell you it was better than expected. Arrives around 3pm which was still considered lunch, so price was $29.99. It’s an all you can eat steaks Brazilian place. Delicious food and great service. Will be back
It was my first time coming here and it was my birthday, so I was really excited to bring my wife and my mother in law to enjoy some Brazilian buffet. Douglas took care of us and made our night! He was very friendly, and gave us the best wine selection to choose from. The other night, she brought us a complementary cheesecake to celebrate my birthday. It really made our night and we will definitely be back! The food was outstanding and the ambiance is gorgeous.
I highly recommend Viva Brazil if you’re looking for the perfect venue for a graduation party or a wedding. Victor and his wife were amazing throughout the whole process as I planned my wedding. They truly outdid themselves. The food was amazing and the service 10/10. All my guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was, how pretty the venue was, and the great service. Viva Brazil is definitely my go to venue for events.
Viva Brasil is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the food was incredible. The highlight of the night was definitely Jefferson behind the meat rotisserie – he was amazing! His skill and passion for what he does were evident in every perfectly cooked cut he served. The meats were juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Jefferson made the experience unforgettable with his friendly, attentive service. If you’re looking for authentic Brazilian flavors and exceptional service, this is the place to be. Five stars without a doubt!
Food and service was wonderful one of my favorite places for Brazilian meat!
Amazing food fresh and delicious with excellent service
I recently visited Viva Brazil, and I am beyond impressed! The food was outstanding—every bite was a treat. The Picanha, sausage, and sirloin were perfectly cooked, and the salads were fresh and flavorful. Their cheese croquettes and lobster bisque were also delicious and a must-try! The staff was attentive and ensured I had everything I needed, improving the experience. You can feel the pride in ownership here; it truly makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I will be back again with my friends and family. I highly recommend Viva Brazil!
Viva Brazil exceeded all expectations! From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with staff who were genuinely attentive and professional. The rodizio-style service was flawless—succulent cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, and more kept coming, each one perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The salad bar was fresh and well-stocked, offering a great variety to balance out the rich meats. I especially appreciated how the servers made sure I never had to wait long for my favorite cuts—everything was timed just right. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want an unforgettable dining experience, Viva Brazil is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends!

This place is a must go!! We’ve been here already 4 times. The food is always excellent and the sides are sometimes slightly Different ! Our server he’s always the best and has a joke handy. We love the atmosphere the food the quality and people and for the price 29$ you can’t beat that !
Douglas was amazing. Very nice and the drinks were sooo good, he also made my day when he asked if I was Brazilian lol I love him. Chef was amazing too, we asked if he could do rare when he came over and he delivered with the most delicious cuts at the perfect temp for us. Will definitely come again now that I moved here.
$38 dollar all you can eat plus 18% automatic tip included. Food is very tasty. Love picanha.. excellent guy at carving station, he kept giving me more and more..very clean restaurant, the staff look like models and well dressed , excellent service. The fish on buffet with tomatoes is so tasteful and well seasoned. I took one star off because dessert is part included. That garlic sauce and chimichurr I sauce are incredible.
Pretty good food, but nothing says "Viva Brazil" like Taylor Swift on loop.
First waiter completely ignored me multiple glances and waves to never come check on me, after I told him it was my first time. Ordered a bottled beer, empty house, 10 minutes no beer, Had to ask a different person for my beer, second waiter was much better and much more timely. 9/10 for food honestly and super laid back easy serve yourself otherwise, staff just needs to pay more attention and HEAR the customer
$39.99 p/ person includes everything. Buffet, meats, dessert & soft drink. Comfortable & enjoyable nice setting. They have a large room for special occasions.
Sides were delicious. Meat options slim. Meat was tough. Chicken with bacon was delicious little cheese balls with honey we’re great. A bit dark and initially sat at a table with a red light spotlight right on us which was horrible. Asked to be moved and they did. Ditch the red light as no one can sit there. Ok for a one and done visit.
Nice Brazilian BBQ. Buffet. A bit different that we had to visit the BBQ pit for the meats. Food was fresh and atmosphere was very nice. Will visit again
Great place. If I was Brazilian I'd probably give it 5 stars, but Rodizio is not one of my favorites. But my Brazilian wife and stepson loved it. Much better than Chima restaurant in Fort Lauderdale.
The host was not friendly. Food was okay, but picanha definetely tasted like it was frozen burn. I don’t think I’ll come back.
Nice ambient and cold buffet. The caipirinhas were good as well. Couldn't eat the meats since they were all overly salted, even more than at The Knife's, so you get the idea. Since the place is not centric I think they should try to do better in the meat department being that they advertise as a "churrasqueria"
$40 set price for a buffet. Felt pressured to eat fast and waiters never came around unless to ask to remove your plate. Food is good.
The restaurant is beautiful, and the salad bar was honestly great—lots of fresh options and variety, which I really appreciated. I also really enjoyed the passion fruit mojito; it was refreshing and full of flavor. However, I was very disappointed with the meat service, especially for a Brazilian restaurant. Unlike the typical Brazilian steakhouse experience, you have to go up to the chef to get the meat instead of it being brought to your table. Even more surprising, the selection of meats was very limited. What really left a bad impression was when my husband went to get the same steak our friend had just received, and the chef denied him, saying we already had some on the table—even though that plate belonged to someone else in our group. That’s not the kind of service I expect when we’re paying for an experience like this. Because of that, I wouldn’t return. The drinks and salad bar were great, but the overall meat experience and service didn’t meet expectations for a Brazilian restaurant.
The food is good but the service is not. I had to stand out from my seat to ask for water for the table and I had to do it a second time. I had to call the waitress to the table again to ask for the bill because they were so distracted. Their choices of juices is not much. On top Of that, they included a 20% tip on the bill for a party of 4 people. I will agree to that when the service is excellent but this was not the case. The buffer cost is $38 and changed per person.
broken glass door to entrance of the restaurant. meats not a good quality. salad and hot buffet wasn't bad. Lunch is $29.00 with tax+ 20% service charges comes to almost $40.00
Place is clean, nice ambiance and salad bar was well presented and overall tasty. Meat was very salted, over cooked and dry for the most part. The grill man was generally "cheep" with the quantity. Service was ok but can be much better. The restaurant was fairly empty when we were there and at time the stuff was not attentive and did not replace our plates when needed. Also. Why charge 20% service fee to the bill? Over all, did not feel it has good value for the money. Better go to Chima or texted se Brazil and others. You pay more but much better quality.
TOO EXPENSIVE! RIP OFF! Unless you want a $50 lunch, don't go. I got the buffet which, while expensive, I could rationalize because the buffet was all you can eat beef, lamb, etc. What really ticked me off was the total bill of $48.69 which included a NEVER DISCLOSED MANDATORY SERVICE CHARGE. For what? Bringing a glass of water to my table? The lunch is a SELF SERVICE BUFFET! Why should a customer pay for something not received? WHY SHOULD CUSTOMERS PAY AN 18% SERVICE CHARGE ($7.01) FOR A GLASS OF WATER? NEVER AGAIN.
The restaurant uses the Brazilian adjective, but there's nothing about a Brazilian style restaurant. The servers are Hispanic or other countries that speak Portuguese and the food did not taste right at all. The meet variety was not as expect. Very expensive for such a low rate experience. Also, if you take a few steps towards the bathrooms, it feels like you are at a low care public room. I am Brazilian and my family, including my kids, stated it's the worst "Brazilian" restaurant we have eaten ever.
We went and the food was good. When the waiter brought the check, he didn’t show my husband the itemized of what we were going to pay, he just asked for the card, when my husband received the receipt to sign, he saw that gratuity was already included in the check. It was only two of us and the check was not that high so he did not add a tip because gratuity was already added (waiter did NOT informed us about it, my husband just saw it on the receipt). We got home and we saw that we were charged an extra of $15 WITHOUT informing us or our consent!!!! Safe to say we are not going back. Please ask to see your itemized receipt when you go to this restaurant.
The food was amazing,BUT if you come with little kids is NOT a good place, they SKIPPED us so many times we only got to eat one round the rest they kept skipping us , we have 2 kids under 3 and they seem to not like it at all , my 8month was fussy but that's not an excuse to ignore us. They asked so many times if they could take our plate when we were still eating, also no AC.
We love going to Fogo de Chao on special occasions, but wanted to try another Brazilian food closer to us. Unfortunately it's nothing comparable to FDC (only concept maybe) - most of the meat was not chewable and oversalted (most of the grill was oversalted including octopus and shrimps). Only the chicken was good. The best part was the pineapple with cinnamon. Smaller buffet too. The service was Ok, but wish they had Brazilian songs as at FDC! for the same price at FDG go there (you can get about same price using their special promotions).
Food is terrible. All meat was terribly dry. Salad was spoiled. Selection of side dishes mostly uneatable. Floors and tables are sticky. Price for 2 people just for the buffet is 97.37 (any deserts are extra). I chose this place based on reviews in google and have to leave the review so other people know what they are getting for the high price.
Place not worth it. Went for my husband’s bday a group of 20. Service was not good . Food not good. Black beans were good and the fried plantains. The only meat good was the garlic picanha and chicken. All the other meat were hard and no flavor. Service wasn’t good . The tables were beautiful and elegant but sadly the food and service was no good. I honestly didn’t like the fact that we had to stand in a long line to get our meats. One chef/butcher for the entire restaurant is not enough. The butcher I have to say was very nice and friendly because our waiters weren’t communicative and weren’t on top of what we needed or not.
The food was terrible and the service where do I begin. They took forever to get to the table to get us water and then we waited another 30 mins to order food. To make matters worse the place was EMPTY. They employees were just standing around talking. The food was overcooked, no flavor when we said something the waiter didn’t care. On top of that when we were leaving our car was towed! That was such terrible experience i definitely will not ever recommend this place.
This place is not worth the expensive price they charge is an average restaurant at best, the place smells funky, lack of customer service and the quality of the meats offered is less than average. It is a “Buffet” style restaurant with just a few options. The main attraction is supposed to be the meats they offer, you stand on a line to get the cuts (must cuts are either undercooked or overcooked) than you make your way to your table so no customer service and the price is $$$$ save time and frustration and go elsewhere. They charge too much and provide little value for your money, go get served table side at a real restaurant you will have a better experience and spend less money. By the way no price is advertised so they know exactly what they are doing!!!!!
Beautiful restaurant! However, the language barrier could cost you some dollars. The workers only speak Portuguese. It seems that it works for them since they're now charging $39 all you can eat, no drinks included, or at least I wasn't explained or offered a drink since the waitress couldn't communicate in English or Spanish or/and answered my questions because of my lack of Portuguese. Anyway... the sides were good, the chef didn't know the name of the meat cuts in English, so I guess they only had picanha cause that's what he offered and while I waited for the meat to be ready, cause the buffet didn't have the meats ready to serve, I ended up eating the sides, by the time the picanha was done and the chef called me, I was already full, so I could eat a lot of protein. Unfortunately, the picanha was not too juicy, I would say dry.... the chorizo was not cooked through, so I didn't eat it either. I paid $110 in total for the 2 of us, and they assumed I was happy with my experience and added/charged a 20% gratuity without acknowledgment... I remember I was begging my family to come with me to this restaurant that I visited 6 years ago, and it was $20 all you can eat like most buffets that offer more than Viva Brazil. Thank you, though. 👍
