PappaRich, a Malaysian restaurant at Bellaire Food Street, offers delicious food and excellent value. The attentive servers are very considerate of families with kids. I really enjoyed my experience!

Always fun to go to this dessert bar for their different themes.

If you haven’t revisited Belair Food Street Plaza lately, honey… you’re missing out on a whole glow-up. This spot has officially transformed from “solid Asian eats” into a full-blown culinary runway — where every shop wants to be the next it-girl of desserts, drinks, or design. We’re talking croissants with better layering than your ex’s excuses, boba that dresses better than half the people at brunch, and ramen bowls deep enough to drown your weekday stress in. Let’s break it down, runway-style: 👑 Le Kream – The cube croissants are the main character. Flaky, buttery, filled with matcha, yuzu, or sesame cream… they’re the edible version of a mic drop. Even the packaging feels like it’s ready for a Vogue spread. 🎀 Popfancy Dessert Bar – Think cosplay meets cocktails. Their rotating themes (K-pop, anime, Labubu) pull crowds for a reason — and the line out the door? That’s the velvet rope of the Bellaire dessert scene. 🌶️ PappaRich – Malaysian comfort food that hits like a spicy hug. Nasi lemak, curry laksa, roti so flaky it could ghost you after dinner. The real ones know. 🍜 Ichiro Sapporo Ramen – Creamy tonkotsu that’ll quiet your inner critic. 🐓 Soho Chicken – Korean fried chicken so crunchy you can hear it across the plaza. Bonus points for their bold flavors and decent heat levels. 🧋 Tiger Sugar – You already know. Brown sugar boba with swirl patterns more hypnotizing than your last situationship. 🍧 Meet Fresh – Classic Taiwanese desserts that taste like a soft reset for your soul. And that’s just the starters. Every time I come back, someone new is trying to snatch the crown. ✨ Aesthetic Check The whole plaza got the memo: stay cute or get out. Clean walkways, well-lit storefronts, and no weird smells in sight — which, let’s be real, is a low bar some plazas still fail to clear. This is the kind of place you accidentally spend three hours at and still feel like you didn’t try enough. 🚨 Parking Warning (a.k.a. The Chaos Zone) Weekend parking? A mild form of punishment. Come early, come late, or come with backup. Either way, wear your lucky shoes because you might be doing laps. But once you’re inside, you’ll forget all about it. 🧠 Pro Tip: Do yourself a favor: come hungry, bring a power bank, and pretend you’re scouting for the next season of “Foodie Wars: Houston Edition.” This plaza knows it’s hot. The question is — can you keep up? Empowered by review queen🫅 Another review by Monkey King Media — empowered by your queen, where words turn to waves and your business stays unforgettable.

On a hot day, it was nice and cool. My wife and I stopped by for ice cream. Her waffle dipped bowl with mint chocolate and my waffle cone with strawberry cheesecake were just what we needed to cool down. Friendly staff, clean store, and an excellent flavor selection.

Food is from one of the restaurants on this strip, and everything was sooooo goood!!! The desserts are from a Dragon Ball Pop up shop, which was really nice also! Enjoyed the atmosphere greatly.

Great dining experience. Seasoning was perfect and the food stayed hot! Best fried rice that I had for a long time! All the dishes (classic beef, kimchi chicken and salmon) we had are all tasty!

Amazing food complex for a melting pot of Asian dining options from food to drinks. I can’t recommend this place enough, they have tried to improve the parking situation with the limited space which j really appreciate.

Pop fancy is an anime lovers dream with free retro arcades and delicious deserts that change with each theme. They've had Harry Potter themed nights as well as anime, super hero, 90s anime, and so much more. The area is lively and there is so much going on that you can feel the energy in the air. Their Instagram will tell you the different activities they have. If you love cosplay, anime, or arcade games this is definitely the spot!

Go here often for Tiger Sugar, Two Hands, and Popfancy. They have a great selection of restaurants and small eats places. Does get very busy on the weekends.

I love this place for the sole fact that they have different themes and I went to the most popular one which was for BTS and well took my sibling for the first time...did not disappoint.

There's a lot of restaurants here but the parking is something. I recommend you look at the peak hours & times on weekends before going if you want to find parking.

The spicy corn dog was very good as well as the others, not overpriced, had to wait for a little bit but worth.

Very cool mini mall. Parking is tight OMG!!! Go to the garage if you can No big trucks they can not fit. They have a great selection of food, drinks, snacks and dessert. In this less than ten unit strip mall. But very cool spots to dine.

Really cool place, the major downside is the wait times during the popup. I understand it was extremely busy, but it wasn't organized well. Waited in line a total of 4 hours, they only wanted to service the fast pass the last 2 hours I waited while I was literally at the front of the regular line next to the front door. If they fix their servicing of both lines better as well as limit how long people stayed in the shop they would've been perfect. Some guests stayed in the shop for 30+ minutes. Other than wait time the shop was amazing.

Saw this place on a TV show. Searched on Google and arrived at 11:45am to avoid the long lines. Saw an employee waiting outside for an hour to get in it was her first day and she thought 12pm too, and we both saw the door, the place opens at 1pm. In this July Texas heat!. I was concerned for her safety.Once inside, I asked the key holder about the time and she just said yea. We open at 1. Did not really offer explanation or information. For our order we just guessed, no recommendations or isi it your first time....My son ordered a pop with mini Renee's and it came with regular sized Reece's placed on top and in the dish, not actually stuck to the dipped chocolate. On the way home, there was a small black ant in my daughter's tray. My order Lavender Matacha Green tea pop tasted like straight green tea, no lavender at all. The best thing honestly was the video arcade game. I want to buy one but don't want to give this establishment the business. The ice cream is over priced, small and didn't really feel or look like an experience that you could only get here. Not feeling the fancy in these pops....Good thing there were other great places to eat at while we waited.
