First time to use the chop sticks. Every meal is worth the penny. You can have small meetings and make use of the projector. Service is top notched.

Visiting for the weekend, we stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We chose this restaurant because it was across the street from H.E.B., and I'm so glad we did! From the start, our server, Anh, was super friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I don't like anything spicy, and she gave recommendations along with offering to put any spicy sauces on the side. (For the record, I could totally handle the spicy mayo!) We ordered the tuna nachos cold dish, which I would definitely order again. It was a good portion size with a great sweet flavors to compliment the crunch of the wonton. We also shared the Falcon roll and I-10 roll. We asked them to skip the jalepeño in the I-10 roll, which I'm sure would have rounded out the flavor that was missing a little (my fault)! Then we ordered an assortment of nigiri. My favorite was the escolar and my partner loved the mackerel. As a lover of sweet things, my mango iced tea was delicious to sip between bites. We enjoyed our meal so much, we talked about going back the next day, but they're closed on Sundays.

Pricy, but Excellent! TL:DR Tons of excellent options; something for everyone, and no one will leave hungry. Try the appetizers for sure! Details: Ended up here after a recommendation from Houston friends. So glad we came! Service was quick and pleasant, and the food was tremendous. Sushi, fried rice, chicken, edamame... nothing we had was less than excellent. I don't think you can go wrong. If you are willing to risk a bit of spice in your life, try the Dynamo - excellent flavor combo!

My wife and I went to Ginza for our 5th anniversary and they made it a memorable one. I got Carpaccio which was some kind of raw Japanese fish with fish eggs and super tasty sweet and sour orange sauce. It was absolutely fascinating and fresh. I recommend it to whoever loves sea food. We also got fire cracker shrimps, edamame, and wild mushrooms. All three of them were super tasty but I recommend the fire cracker shrimps the most. It was fresh and tasty. The sake was also hot and tasty. Excellent service and ambiance. They renovated the restaurant. I liked their old style Japanese one, but the current more american style is also nice.

Chef Harold has the eye and taste buds to create unique, exquisite and winning flavor, texture and visual combinations. Enjoyed excellent omakase (tasting menu) to go dinner. Very friendly staff. In particular, his cold dishes and dressed nigiri pieces (i.e. no need to drown in soy sauce) are highly recommended. 🍣💯👏🏼

Went for HRW 2019 and will definitely be going back! The sushi is so fresh and the spices are just right!! My curry was most excellent and I’m a picky curry eater bc i live it so much! The staff is accommodating to whatever you ask, they are extremely friendly. There are 2 separate bar areas, the sushi bar and a drinking, fully stocked bar! It seemed like the younger crowd was hitting up the regular bar and the “older” (including me!) crowd was in the section by the sushi bar. The sake we ordered was out of this world smooth!! Very easy to drink and was perfect with our meals!! You can’t tell in the pictures but the amount of tuna on the nachos was much appreciated!! And abundance of tuna- so good! The lotus blossom drink was too sweet for my taste, but that’s my own fault, since I ordered a sweet drink. Ha! I love HRW for this reason, to be able to try so many different dishes and have them all taste so delicious- they have a new regular customer for sure! We went on a Friday and they told us that they concert one side into a karaoke bar until 2 am! So I’ll have to also go back with more friends!!!

Great miso ramen! I wish they’d put a little more noodles in it but the dish is divine

Our server guided us through the menu, making us feel like valued guests. The ambiance strikes a good balance between modern elegance and casual comfort, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing evening out. The food was delicious. We started with the yellowtail sashimi, which was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, and the presentation was great. My partner's miso-glazed black cod was also cooked to perfection with a savory-sweet glaze.

We dine often at Ginza. It’s a treat every time. It’s always fresh, friendly and delicious. we took 3 21 year old young men tonight and dish after dish, roll after roll and so on and there was not a morsel left. we love the food and the staff. easy, casual and yummy!

Staff was very tentative and helpful in letting us know that there would be an extra charge for certain items requested. The chicken and vegetables were very fresh. Nice portion, enough for two. I will definitely eat here again

Small, family owned restaurant. The staff was kind and attentive. I didn’t have to ask for a booster seat, they automatically offered one which I appreciate. The food was hot and tasted homey, not too much like commercial Asian American food. I will return.

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Fu’s. We got the spring rolls, steamed dumplings, and general Tso’s and all were delicious. Angel, our waiter, was exceptionally welcoming and warm. He made an already great meal even better.

Fu’s Garden has the best Hunan / Chinese food in Houston! Family owned & operated, always super nice with excellent customer service. I love that whole menu is MSG free. The family dinner comes with choice of soup; spring roll, shrimp toast, fried crab ragoon & choice of entree. Love this restaurant :)

This is one of the very best in Houston!! They are so nice and welcoming every time and the food is delicious!!! Their General Tao’s is the best I have ever had! Excellent portion sizes as well! It’s a great family restaurant with even better food!

I have always had great quality food from here. All white meat chicken as well which is nice. The staff is always very nice and the place clearly has a following of loyal locals. Sesame chicken, general Tao, chicken and broccoli, orange beef have all been great. It’s no frills but the food is always hot and very consistent. It is a step above your typical ‘American’ Chinese food. The lunch special is a great deal when you consider that Panda Express costs more per person for the same amount of food.

I normally enjoy more aesthetic and cozy type of restaurants but this restaurant is def great if you are looking somewhere quick and homey type of place to eat. This is my fifth time here, twice with take outs and three times dining in. I like their lunch menu and customer service. The place is clean and the staffs are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Angel is always polite and he will remember you! The lunch menu comes with one dish, one soup of your choice and either white/brown rice. I always get the same dish and the quality and flavors are consistent. During busy lunch times, they make sure your water is filled up and check whether you need anything etc. Also last couple of times when I came here with a big group, at the end of the meal, they give you fresh fruits.

Food is decent. I went there the first time and maybe return again in the future. For the price point they are not far off from other higher end place. The quality of the food is okay. I am very picky when comes to Japanese food and I know what’s good and high quality. The curry dish I ordered was not all there but eatable. Salmons were good. I spent over $74 for these few dishes by myself and price is okay since the location was in the good area.

Ordered veg. Spring roll, veg. Gyoza, Crunchy Takoyaki, beef stir fried noodle, shrimp Tempura, Chicken Teriyaki and Sashimi Deluxe. Thanks to our waiter, Henry, due to our restriction diet, he was very helpful and friendly by providing guidance and suggestions to what we can eat. The food presentation was excellent, the taste was beyond our expectations, we thought we ordered more than we could eat but the foods was so delicious....we left them with clean plates😀. The prices are reasonable, the service is excellent. I do recommend this restaurant and I give it 9 of 10.

Great place to hang out with friends while having some good sushi and singing karaoke. They have good cocktails, the lychee martini was a popular drink there. Poke poke sushi roll was delicious. Definitely recommended to all.

Most of the food was good except for the fried rice. They have limited vegetarian dishes but their sauces are good. Our favorite was broccoli with garlic sauce and Lo Mein.

Great Take out Chinese Restaurant similar to Panda but more of an authentic experience and American takeout cuisine. Best time to go would be around noon in my opinion with the lunch Deals; a soup, takeout plate, drink and sides all for around $10

Fu’s Garden – Great Lunch Spot with Friendly Service and Comforting Food I recently visited Fu’s Garden for lunch and had an overall great experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful, low-key spot to enjoy a tasty and affordable meal, this place is definitely worth checking out. First off, the customer service was excellent. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, making it a great place to grab lunch if you need a break from the usual hustle. The orange chicken was the star of the meal for me. I asked for it extra crispy because I’m a little picky about chicken texture, and they nailed it—it had great flavor and the perfect crunch. Their fried rice was also delicious—well-seasoned and full of flavor. If you’re looking for a satisfying combo, that’s a great way to go. As for the soup and spring rolls, they weren’t really my thing. The soup just didn’t hit the mark for me personally, and the spring rolls were okay, but nothing memorable. I also tried the dumplings, which were pretty good, but they only offered pork dumplings. Since I’m not a big fan of pork, I struggled with them a bit, though I could still tell they were well-made. The restaurant itself is very clean, and I really appreciated that. The tables were super cute—a nice little detail that made the space feel cozy and charming. While the interior might be a little outdated, I actually enjoyed the look. It has that kind of nostalgic, old-school charm that makes you feel at home. All in all, Fu’s Garden is a solid choice for a casual, affordable lunch with good food and great service. If you’re into classic Chinese-American dishes and a relaxed setting, it’s definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back for that orange chicken and fried rice for sure!

Honest review * I have been here many times. I want to compliment the servers ( angel & nino) maybe I’m spelling it wrong but they are amazing. They are so welcoming. The Asian lady and man in the front are rude and cheap. Sorry to tell you the truth but why would I lie. They like to save their extra 5 cents vs making a customer happy. Especially the lady. Anytime she’s there it’s bad vibes. I go for the food and waiters because they are just so awesome. Anyways 5 star service but I am putting 4 stars because it’s not that perfect with the people in the front. I stopped ordering take out because she always wants to be complaining about adding one extra spicy sauce to go. Apparently it costs them hundreds of dollars ( I’m exaggerating) but come on now.

Came here during lunch, very friendly and attentive service, plenty of seating. Like others mentioned, I did get a 90s vibe from this place. The food came out fairly quickly. I ordered the general tso chicken lunch special with wonton soup. The wonton soup tasted a bit off to me, but I don’t care too much for the soup since I came for the food. I found that the general tso sauce was very thick and almost sweet. Almost corn syrupy, but the chicken itself was good. The chicken tasted fresh, the sauce was a bit too much for me. I heard the person next to me order their chicken broccoli meal with the sauce on the side so I might try that next time. The fried rice was also good. Not my usual go to but thought I’d check this place out since I was in the area. Would probably come again but maybe order something else. The service was really good too, I liked the ambiance. Also, I love the ceiling tiles, very decorative.

Went for HRW dinner and the food did not disappoint. Service however was a little undertrained. Seated without drink or HRW menus. Courses were being delivered before the previous course were finished and as we were sitting at a two top table, the plates were getting stacked and after the funny looks weren't registering with the server, I had to say something. Pro tip : Get the creme brule, skip the mochi ice cream.

Place is good size for the location. The prices are reasonable. Happy hour specials are good. Fish was very good and fresh. Service was very fast and friendly. Will return to try different menu items.

A nice neighbourhood restaurant, friendly. Rolls have lots of mayo, jalapeño, avocado ingredients. If you like a fusion sushi, this is the place. Five stars on service. Staffs really care about your experience, which is always nice in any kind of restaurant.

Decent food, good prices. Plenty of variety. Egg drop soup needed to be hotter and richer in taste. Combo fried rice was lacking flavor. Seemed under cooked and too much pepper. Pork dteamed dumplings were good and hot. Pring rolls ok. Needed something more in them.

Read great reviews about this place, and the setup is indeed nice with plenty of tables and a pleasant ambiance. However, my experience didn’t quite match the hype. We ordered the egg drop soup, which had good flavor but was only warm, not hot. The chicken with cashews was average at best, and the spring rolls, unfortunately, were drenched in oil, lacked salt, and had no real flavor. Overall, it turned out to be an average experience for me.

This is an overly pricey Chinese restaurant for what you get. Plates average $20-25 and come out within mere minutes, something that’s great for fast food, but not so much for sit down restaurants. Flavor wise, it’s very simple and lacks interesting or unique spice blends. It’s almost like they use premade/bottled sauces. Most importantly, the service was awful… and I mean AWFUL! The servers are terribly rude, constantly staring at you, reaching over your food, clearing your table before you’re ready to leave, and telling customers no before storming off to the kitchen after simple requests. That alone makes me want to give this place one star, but the manager/owner is actually friendly, so I won’t do that. I guarantee there are better options in town if you’re craving Asian cuisine.

Ordered chicken karaage and shrimp tempura to go and was not expecting it to be this small of an order and clearly burnt. This is was $8 and I feel very cheated. The shrimp was at least decent but the batter was soggy. I wouldn't trust this place to prepare sushi or raw fish.

I hate to leave bad review. But i got poisoned there really bad yesterday. Service was very good and i think my server did very well assisting me, so no questions to her. But kitchen!? And management? Restaurant closes at 10 but they began washing floor with bleach right next to me around 9:30. I had to leave because bleach splashes were all over, I couldn’t breathe strong bleach odor. It was horrible and im sick right now all day in bed. I will never come back here.

We decide to give it a try again. After having a bad experience with the waitress a year ago. So we stopped coming back. Today, we called to ask what the prices of their lunch menu were, and we were told to go online to look. ( second time) We asked again just for a general price, and the lady told us, " You're wasting my time," and she hung up on us. Obviously, the owner dont train his people to be polite with their response. Unfortunately, this restaurant has such bad customer service that it doesn't matter whether the food is good or not. We will not be back. They have lost our business.

I agree with others that the quality of this restaurant has declined in recent years. Yesterday, I wanted to dine at nearby Cafe Panda Garden, but failed to realize they aren’t open on Saturdays. I decided against my better judgement to go to Fu’s Garden, although my experiences there have been mixed. Well, I show up and stand there, waiting to be seated. There were no waitstaff present in the dining area, and I guess the lady at the counter thought it was beneath her to seat me. After what felt like two or three minutes, she finally acknowledged my presence and took me to a table. If I wasn’t hungry, I would have walked out at that point. Actually, I wish I had. The waiter with the bad attitude came out and took my order. I’ve dealt with him before and agree with others that he can be very rude and unfriendly. Kinda sad when the guy who refills your water has more courtesy and professionalism than anyone else who works there. Anyway, I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken lunch special. It was mediocre at best. Like others have mentioned, this “spicy” dish tasted sweet and kinda weird, actually. The spring roll was disgustingly bad. It was mushy. I don’t remember their spring rolls being that awful before. I took my time eating lunch and the waiter seemed to be irritated, not sure why. It was not that late in the afternoon and it’s not like they needed me to vacate the table, as there were only like four other tables occupied. I have decided to give up on this place. I will either dine at nearby Cafe Panda Garden, or at Rice Box on I-10.

I’ve order here a couple of times before and food was ok . Today the food was pretty gross!! Toooo much black pepper in the fried rice .How do you make fried rice bad ?? chicken and broccoli have a weird bad after taste . It taste like it’s freezer burned . I’m just disappointed my lunch is ruined!!!The restaurant also smells really bad like bad sewage .Needless to say very bad experience!!!
