In D Kitchen Houston Reviews
Not my first time to pick food up at this place, easy ordering via Grub Hub. Food is delicious, enjoyed a Vermicelli with Chicken and Eggroll. All the veggies are fresh and the fish sauce has a little spice to it. Yum. Perfect little neighborhood gem. Young lady at the front was very nice and the food was packed perfectly for to go food.
Lovely family owned and operated business! I love how it’s in the Galleria area but away from all the heavy traffic! It’s located in between different units in a small plaza but well worth the value! You self serve your own utensils and water but the location and prices are amazing! I ordered the “IDK pho bowl” $13.88, firecracker shrimp $8, and Strawberry Tea with Jelly $6! I’d come back to dine in for lunch again!
We just visited here today, before they close 20min later. We called to order our food first for not to be late n onwer is so friendly. We tried fried rice, pho and french fries with grilled meat. Everything was delicious!! Specially I love their homemade Chili Oil!! Happy to having here at my neighborhood🥰
Good food, have been here many times. Friendly and consistent service. Their signature "IDK Fries" are in one attached picture, which are really good. Also the Pork and Rice if you're looking for something a little more sensible.Try the Thai tea, too!
A lovely, unassuming mom-and-pop shop! I’m so glad I live nearby the area. This is my go-to spot for a hearty bite(or for hangovers). The pho broth is clear, aromatic, and savory yet light. The banh mi has great flavor. Prices are reasonable, especially given the area. Some people have stated they’re skimping on portions, but I haven’t encountered that. I’ve never left without a happy sigh and a lil’ food baby. Imo, the portions are pretty big! The ambiance is low-key and relaxed. There are self-serve sauces that you can grab to your heart’s content! There’s also a supremely large fish tank… I don’t typically pay much attention to fish tanks, but this one was quite stellar!
So the pork banh mi is excellent - as good as you will find in a city with excellent banh mi sandwiches, but the fries may be the best in Houston, which was a big surprise. Great little spot.
Excellent little hole in the wall, really good food, all made to order. Shrimp bang mi - basically shrimp poboy. Nice and fresh. Spring rolls made to order, makes a bid difference in flavor and texture. Good job, will go back. Reasonable prices.
Wonderful! The lady at the front was kind and didnt rush us out of towners. The food was simple but tasted amazing. It's easy to mess up fried rice but they brought such wonderful flavor to a very simple dish. Will definitely visit agin.
The food was good. The service was great too Plus the drink was really nice and fresh!
Very casual. Great Pho noodle soup and the largest shrimp spring rolls I've had. Delicious!
Stopped here for quick appetizers and was not disappointed. Shrimp spring rolls and veggie eggs rolls were both very tasty.
This is a nice and cozy place for Vietnamese food. Their vermicelli with grilled pork is delicious!
Great fresh, seasoned food. From the egg rolls to the pho! Everything is delicious! I will definitely be back!

Fast and casual food. Grilled pork banh mi was one of the better if not best I've had. The meat was very flavorful and tender. Shrimp spring rolls are good as well. I plan on going back when in the area again.

Never knew this place was here, I was definitely craving some soup. Service was fast, the place is small but there is seating inside and outside. I do wish they had more spice options! But food was flavorful and fresh.
I rate Viet places by the quality of their Pho. And this place is decent - but not great. Meatballs were were chewy and overcooked. Brisket was not tender. Good for a quick lunch. Fair prices. But if you’re looking for a delicious Pho - this is not it.

I tried the seafood pho soup. In my opinion, it was mediocre. The broth leaned too sweet for my taste and seemed to lack depth in flavor. Additionally, the shrimp, with only three per bowl, didn’t impress me either.

Ordered through Lunchdrop (where I'm currently working at, they have this set up as delivery system where every day there are different restaurants and today In D Kitchen was one of the 2 options). Placed my order and everything went smoothly until I opened my food. I ordered a Vermicelli bowl (beef) with eggroll. Eggroll was good, but could not eat most of the beef. Even looking at it while I ate around it was making me lose my appetite. I did try and eat the rest of the food, but it did not have much flavor and was definitely not worth the price I paid. Based on this experience, I let my coworkers know that I will not be ordering from here again. Would leave less stars, but food was good temperature and delivery was on time.
Being a pho lover, I’ve tried more than 15 different pho restaurants in Houston. Unfortunately, I would probably rank the pho here at the bottom of the list. They put shrimp in Pho which I personably find weird. The soup is absolutely bland with no aroma from spice or umami from beef. The soup base pack from grocery market is probably more flavorful. But other than the flavor, no complain for the environment or the service.

This isn't a pho place anymore. It's now a mexican restaurant and it's mid at best. Was very disappointed! 😞

"Pho" was big ball of stuck noodles and broth that tasted like tap water. Horrible
