H-Burger Bar Houston Reviews
Quiet place in the back of C terminal. I see the reviews and my experience is quiet different, I can over look quality of food when quality of service is outstanding. The girls working behind the bar were friendly and accommodating, answered all questions with a smile and a positive attitude, and in a bar in Houston airport that's making a statement, naturally you are going to pay airport price for everything but Overall, positive experience. Samantha is awesome.
So good, the bread has caramelized onions and mushrooms and all the toppings in it for a burger that should be sloppy it's not and was delicious. Plus the service is amazing I think her name is cherry she's going back and forth covering like 20 people. Nailing everything it's honestly incredible. Amazing place would could come here again in a heart beat
Airport bars are always expensive, so I expected that. This place has a decent menu, I got the wedge salad with chicken on the side plus some wine. They cook the food right there in front of you, so that's pretty cool. They are right at gate C35, which was great for me, that's the gate I need. Order and pay at the same time so when you are done, just walk away.

Cherry and her crew is awesome! Service was professional, food and drinks made perfectly. The had a huge rush and handled with calm and ease.
Not sure what all these bad reviews regarding the food are about. Maybe a bad cook 😂. The H-Burger with grilled onions I had was great! Crazy expensive, but service was phenomenal, Cherry was great!
I had a great experience here 30Aug2025. I asked about the lead time for food, and they were completely honest, letting me know it would be ready just before boarding, and they hit the mark. Food was great, and the service was exemplary. Give the people working there a bonus for honesty and quality of service.
Sam and Ashley did a great job welcoming me and serving me breakfast while I waited for my flight. The food was good, but the service was awesome.

Sat down at the bar here at H-Burger at terminal C when we landed for a quick drink and bite to eat. The staff here is very friendly and nice. Its a busy area as the bar backs directly onto the corridor, but its ok.. The burgers are fresh but a bit overdone and the bun was a bit burnt. Otherwise decent place to welcome you when you land.

Ordered 2 identical burgers. One was rare, one well done ? They never asked nor asked how is the food. I get the concept of airport food. But for $ 84 you might expect just little bit. Three out of four employees don't care, one guy is still trying, but he should be in charge of the place.

While the atmosphere and bar is helpful to rest for a while and plug in devices, my experience with the food here was underwhelming and frustrating. They had completely false advertising for their chicken wings. Expecting the 18$ tossed wings, I received fried and tasteless chicken wings with ranch. Fries were sub-optimal as well for $9. Swing by shake shack for better value.

Food ok and service ok for the price. The girl who took our order was nice and fun. You pay before you get food or drinks or service, so that was new. I guess that makes sense is if you're worried about people walking off without paying. The original waitress disappeared right after we received our drinks without a word. I'm hoping they split tips because the next waitress helped us more but we didn't get the water or the sauces that we ordered with the original waitress so maybe they can improve on communication. Still weird to expect to tip before any service occurs. There was paper in the burger, probably from the patty or the cheese. They did apologize and ask if we wanted them to "remake half the burger" because the other half was already eaten, but we were full so we passed on that offer. Otherwise everything tasted pretty good. A little expensive but to be expected. Won't be back though- there's better options.
I’ve eaten here many times and the food is decent. Today, I walked over to wait a few minutes for my flight and was debating getting a drink. I was quickly told I needed to order something or leave. I get it, but that experience in combination with the mediocre food and service will have me going elsewhere next time. You might let someone sit for more than 45 seconds before pushing them out. Ideally, the appetizing food being served around them will entice them to order. Instead, I observed some guy ask for bbq or steak sauce and get handed Tabasco….

1 star for the woman who threatened I would not be able to get on my flight because I was charging my phone at the bar @ 5 am, saying it’s reserved for customers. Please reference photo for amount of empty seats. Big attitude empathy for a person who had 3 flight cancellations.
Burger looked ok, but tasted like boiled (not broiled) beef. Zero flavor, watery and falls apart like a wet meat loaf. Hate to put low ratings but for the price, definitely not worth it. Especially for a place with burger in its name. Services was nothing to write home about. It’s a bar, so wasn’t expecting much in this department.
Worst breakfast sandwich in my life. $20 thanks for the extra $3 charge for a white crunchy tomato . I tipped $5.00 for a meal I threw in the garbage. Inedible,
Extremely underwhelming experience at H Burger Bar, I arrived at 9:07 and asked if they were still open so I could grab a drink. The employee(s) were more focused on making sure that all of their customers knew that they planned to “walk” promptly at 10:00 pm instead of providing a good customers experience. High airport prices? Yeah yeah yeah. Just because you can doesn’t mean you have to make things excruciatingly expensive. My server made sure to tell me that when he gave me a complimentary sparking water from the tap (not bottled) that it was on the menu and normally charge for it—not a great way to deliver a good gesture. Lastly, when I asked if they had wifi, my server said quickly assumed that I was contemplating using it without making a purchase which was not my intent. While I get that happens frequently in airports, it’s definitely not a good way to approach guests who are visiting for the first time. Based on my experiences, I will not be returning and there seems to be a similar sentiment by some recent reviewers.

Abysmal service and rude staff. I ordered the Hill Country Tenders. I requested that no cheese or dairy (I'm allergic) be included. It seemed like a fairly straightforward request. After paying, the server advised they were out of tenders. No big deal. I switched over to the Messy Tots and, again, requested no lactose/dairy/cheese as I'm allergic. Upon bringing the food out, it clearly had the queso sauce on it. I respectfully brought the issue to the attention of the server. His response was to tell me "the menu clearly says it has cheese". I advised that I was aware of that fact, but that I requested no cheese/dairy products on it as I'm allergic. He just looked at me and walked away. I requested a refund through the app. We'll see if the company accommodates.
Great waiting staff. The food (wings and chips/guacamole) …..I have never tasted rat poison in my life. But I’m 89% sure it tastes exactly like their ‘honey Chili’ wings. >$60, I almost filed a police report because I felt robbed blind. Guac was also toxic tasting somehow. For food, steer clear if you have any respect for yourself or family. Solid wait staff
I am deeply upset and disappointed with my recent visit to H Burger Bar. When I requested a simple glass of water for my son, who urgently needed it to take his medication, the staff outright refused. This is not just bad service—it's a complete lack of basic empathy and decency. I believe businesses have a duty to show humanity and compassion, especially in moments like this. Refusing such a basic request leaves me questioning their priorities and values. As a result, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who values kindness or good service.
Was there with my husband sat down and had a drink. It was great. Flight got delayed. Went back to get water for my kid. Was told by the male bartender to go elsewhere. I told him I’m paying for the water just really needed it. He told me he didn’t have time for that. Very rude and disrespectful. So disheartening because we go to this bar everytime we fly.
Adding items to tab is way too complicated and having to tip individually each time before even seeing the food/drinks served is absolutely ridiculous.

This was, hands down, one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had — and it had nothing to do with the flight itself, but everything to do with the rude, unprofessional male gate agent I encountered at the airport. After diving all day, exhausted and trying to get through the airport with some sense of peace, I was met with nothing but attitude and complete disrespect from a staff member who clearly hates his job and takes it out on travelers. He was abrupt, dismissive, and spoke to me in a tone that was completely unnecessary and unwarranted. No eye contact, no greeting, just short, nasty responses like I was wasting his time. I asked one question and was met with condescension like I wasn’t supposed to be confused or tired after a long day of travel. Airports are already stressful. The least your employees can do is offer some common decency and professionalism. This man did neither. And judging from how he treated other passengers, it’s not just me — it’s a pattern, and it’s shameful.
