This is the ONLY good poke place in the inner loop. Fish tastes so good and they provide such good portions! I get this place almost every week cause it’s the only place I can get my poke fix in. Other places either skimp you or the fish isn’t as fresh. Will continue to come here forever

Local Poke is my new go-to spot for fresh and delicious poke! I was craving a good poke bowl and decided to give them a try, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered a medium bowl and built my own combination, which is always a plus. The star of the show was definitely the tuna – it tasted incredibly fresh, like it had just been caught. All of the mix-ins were also fresh and vibrant, making for a truly satisfying and flavorful bowl. What also impressed me was the portion size. The medium bowl was a decent portion, definitely enough to satisfy my hunger without being overwhelming. It felt like I got great value for my money. On top of the amazing food, the service was fantastic. The guy who helped me was hella nice (as you said!), friendly, and helpful, which just added to the positive experience. If you're looking for fresh, high-quality poke with generous portions and friendly service, Local Poke is the place to be. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back for more!

Absolutely the BEST poke I’ve had in Houston. Their fish is fresh, and the have so many different options for the toppings, sides, and sauces. The employees here are also really nice and welcoming!

Loved the main street signature bowl. The heights signature is too sweet for my taste. Def recommend giving it a try for your first poke bowl!

On a road trip passing through Houston, we stopped here for a quick dinner I could eat a bit of on the road and the rest once we got to Louisiana. This is now a staple for us when we make this trip. Super nice people, new and creative sauces, and everything tastes great. I'm not a fan of mayo, so I typically have a hard time enjoying the 1-2 options available to me at most Poke restaurants. I love the Honey Wasabi sauce, and they have special protein options where they marinate then in unique blends of sauces and seasonings each day.

This establishment offers numerous options including bowl size, rice, proteins, and sides to customize your poke bowl. As they have a variety, the quality of their ingredients are very fine and fresh. They are healthy and elegantly succulent. The pricing is not bad for the quality, in fact is cheaper than other establishment. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable with the options. One of the staff walked us through with some of the ingredient and some premium topping that not a lot of poke places has. As a customer, we really appreciated their generosity. I have been to quite enough poke places around Houston, and I think this one beats out a lot of them. It is one of the few places that I will be coming back to eat more of their poke! I think it is one of the best Poke places in Houston! Highly recommended to other people!

Cafeteria style poke! You can order one if the signature bowls, or make your way down the line and choose your own ingredients. All fresh and fabulous! Absolutely delicious.

So glad I drove the extra time out this way. The guys helping me out with my first time here we're great. Ingredients all looked delicious, and price was pretty good for a poke spot. DEVOURED my custom bowl in minutes. Even though this place is a little out of my way, I still signed up for their rewards program because of the great service I had today.

With all the poke places in Houston, Local Poke stands out as the best value with included premium toppings and add-ins that are typically an additional charge at other places. The fish is fresh and the staff is friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Try the pre-marinaded traditional poke for a taste of Hawaii. Ample parking in the back.

Update: This place is still above par and now they have a reward system in place. LOVE this place! $10 to either stuff yourself full or have two regular sized meals? And the food is awesome with a million ingredients and combinations? Sign me up. Great service, staff willing to take time to explain the plethora of options. Awesome place. Will be a frequent customer and pray the line doesn’t start wrapping around the building.

I loved poke in hawaii, it's quite popular there. Sushi grade salmon & tuna. This place you select a bowl size, white or brown rice or greens & cucumbers (or a mix). 3 or 4 proteins dependant on the size you ordered. 2 sides. And a bunch mix-ins, sauce & toppings. We got 4 Medium custom bowls. And shared 2 Stubborn sodas to try em (vanilla/blue colored label & berry/purple colored label). Super tasty!! 8 thumbs up 👍😊👍 👍😊👍 👍😊👍 👍😊👍
