Their food is delicious! We order several items off the menu, and everything was super flavorful and fresh. They have the cutest “kid’s section”. friendly. The place is clean and the service was great. I especially recommend the Peruvian Steak Sandwich, the Not So Fried Chicken Sandwich, the lentil soup, and the pasta salad.

To be honest we had a coupon so we thought why not give it a try. Not all sandwich places are great. But Mendocino Farms far exceeded my expectations! I was blown away at the freshness, quality, and taste of everything we ordered. We went back the second day in a row. I tried two things that are only on the menu for a limited time. The Sweet Heat Crispy Thai Chicken Sandwich and the Samosa Dosa wrap. Both had incredibly balanced flavors of spice, curries, and fresh ingredients. They air fry their chicken so it doesn't taste too heavy or oily. The tenders are lightly battered so you're getting 95% meat. The bun and the tortilla were fresh and soft. We tried their spicy Dijon potato salad (I wouldn't call it spicy) but it has a wonderful flare to an old staple. We also tried the Spicy Curried Couscous. I've had couscous and this is no normal couscous. It has the buttery and almost jelly-like consistency of tapioca but with a savory flavor. I literally ordered it twice it's that good! We also tried the creamy potato leak soup and the French lentil & Kale soup. Both were delicious, like eat hot soup in the summer because it's so good delicious. They have a wine and beer option, but we were there for lunch. However, don't skip their infused lemonades. They have a tumeric, a rose, and a greens lemonade. Each is uniquely different and tasty. I'm dead serious when I say I'm looking forward to going back. Louis, the manager, and his staff are very helpful and make sure they do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your meal.

Stumbled upon this place recently and was pleasantly surprised! I tried a mango salad and a sandwich, and you could tell the ingredients were good quality and fresh. They also have a good selection of drinks.

Stopped by for a sandwich and it became my favorite salad & sandwich spot. The staff was very friendly, the room was bright and airy, and the food was awesome! I would recommend the Spicy Calabrian Turkey sandwich!

Okay, seriously, if you haven't been to Mendocino Farms yet, what are you even doing? I'm giving this place a straight-up 5/5 stars because it’s honestly legendary, especially for lunch. First off, the vibe is spot-on. It's super bright and airy inside like, zero dark cafeteria energy. The decor is all clean and colorful, and it genuinely feels like a chill place to hang out with your crew or just grab something before soccer practice. The staff is also really nice and helpful, even when it's crazy busy during the lunch rush with all the downtown office people. They’re always super quick with your order, which is key when you only have a 30-minute break. Now, let's talk about the food, because this is the important part. Everything is ridiculously fresh like, farm-to-table, but in a super accessible, fast-casual way. You can't go wrong, but the "Not So Fried" Chicken Sandwich is the real MVP. I know it sounds extra, but the chicken is so crispy, and when you combine it with the mustard pickle slaw and that golden BBQ sauce? My taste buds literally went to heaven. It’s hearty without giving you that total food coma feeling that you get from greasy fast food. If you’re trying to be healthy, the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada is also bomb. It’s huge and tastes like actual food, not just sad lettuce. Yeah, their sandwiches might be a little pricey for a high school budget (like, maybe save up your allowance, lol), but you are seriously getting premium, quality ingredients. It’s a total upgrade from everything else. Go get yourself the "Not So Fried" Chicken and maybe some of that amazing curried couscous side. You won't regret it. Definitely a top-tier Houston spot!

Tried Mendocino Farms today with a few of my colleagues and I’ve got to say, they really did their big one with the chicken pesto and only day chimi! Not to mention the service was great! Haide and Casandra were super friendly and welcoming. Haide helped us find the perfect sandwich and walked us through the menu and personal favorites. Would definitely recommend to my colleagues. Will be back soon!

After my yoga class nearby, I decided to try this cute place and was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. Houston is not short of sandwich/salad type of restaurant, I have tried a few but don't find any place to be standing out. I came in around 10 minutes before closing time and placed an order for Chimichurri steak and bacon sandwich. There was little bit of waiting time but no big deal as they were cleaning up and preparing the food at the same time. The staff was really nice, accommodating and even offered me a cookie for my patience. To be honest I didn't expect much but the sandwich turned out to be tasty and fulfilling you can tell they use good ingredients. The meat was tender; crispy bacon with just right amount of sauce. The sesame toast was amazing I could eat it on its own. It kinda reminds me of Vietnamese sandwich so you know it's good bread. I will definitely find a location near my place to try other items on the menu soon!

This was our first visit. Nice atmosphere with a lot of natural light. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is a bit of hit or miss. We ordered the Italian roast beef 5/5 and pickles and dill potato salad 3/5. My companions both chose the same Farm Club 3/5 and Greek Lemon Chicken & Farro Soup 2/5. Both mentioned if we returned they would get salads. The black passion fruit tea 1/5. It was likened to tea with hand soap.

This was my first time trying Mendocino Farms. I had the Not So Fried Chicken Sandwich, Oaxacan Potato Salad, and Mama Chen's Chinese Chicken Salad. The Not So Friend Chicken sandwich was by far one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. All of the flavors just worked so well together. The bbq sauce that comes with it is AMAZING! The Mama Chen's Chinese Chicken Salad was really good, but my only complaint would be that it had way too many cashews in it for my liking. The Oaxacan Potato Salad was also really good but I wish it had more chucks of potatoes in it. Too many cashews in the salad and not enough chunks of potatoes in the potato salad are the only 2 reason why I didn't give 5 stars. Other than that this place is delicious. I can't wait to go back and try some other items!

The lemonaids are outstanding. Had the Asian salad, was a large portion with plenty of chicken and lettuce but really nothing else but dressing. Kinda bland and boring. My friends had sandwiches and said they were OK. Service was excellent and friendly staff. Unfortunately nothing to be excited about.
