What Customers Say About Pollo Bravo
Pollo Bravo is a popular spot for Peruvian chicken, especially the rotisserie chicken. Customers rave about the delicious food, friendly service (Ms. Seyma mentioned by name), and the green sauce. Some find the music loud or the chicha too sweet.

Tip: The green sauce is a must-try, and the fried plantains are a favorite. The salchipapa is best fresh for dine-in.

Pollo Bravo Houston Reviews
The Lomo Saltado is so freaking delish, was even tempted in buying the Green Noodles al a carte! Each dish was about $12-18 so our total came out to 60 and change for 3 dishes! Will come back!
Tallarines verde was great. The chicken is juicy with tasty, crispy skin. Their fried plantains were caramelized perfectly. Great place to go! :)
Great atmosphere, great food, and great period who work here! What more could you ask for? Thank you guys for informing me about items on the menu! Will definitely be back! 🙂
Great for Peruvian chicken, recommend the Gordo combo. Have great sauce that comes with the chicken that I'll usually add to the Mexican rice. The salichipapa is best fresh for dine in but is still decent when you do take out. Also had pretty big chicken pieces, we did only dark meat. Nice place to grab some food to go to share with friends.
Chicken is the bomb here! Rice and beans are always on point we well! The green sauce is approachable and not very spicy. French fries with fried weenie is a pretty cool snack but gimmicky if your not familiar with Peruvian food. Next time I'm interested in trying the ceviche and spicy dishes!
My wife and I love this place for our go to lunch when we're close to our office... chicken is always cooked to our liking, green sauce is great, sweet fried plantains is the best too!
Amazing service and great food! This is my go to place for chicken, the servers are very attentive. Definitely recommend!
One of the best chicken i have had in a while! The service is one of the best than most restaurants. I love how the restaurant is set up it has a very good atmosphere
this is probably one of my favorite Latin places ever. The service is so incredible. They treated me like I was family. The ladies are one of the best servers ever. They have a great attention to both female and males. The food let’s not even talk about it. It’s out of this world. The roasted chicken is one of my favorites with some plantains and beans I 100% recommend if you are trying to eat in a cut and be healthy. I drive nearly an hour to eat at this location and I will do it an infinite amount of times and I always take some food to go with some of that green sauce. That is one of the best sauces I’ve ever tried. I need the recipe.
Been coming to this location for more than 10 years and we always got the best experience, food is always delicious and Ms.Seyma and all the staff are friendly, Highly recommended!! Super recomendados, comda deliciosa!
Excellent atmosphere, cozy, relaxing, family oriented . I wish the Peruvian gastronomy would be more extended .
I was genuinely surprised to find this restaurant to be Peruvian/Mexican. And to my dismay, they didn’t serve the most renowned Peruvian sauce, the huancaina sauce. I believe that the lomo is overprice for the amount they serve mostly fries, but that’s about it. Overall, the food was decent.
The food is really good, the value is definitely worth it, it's a clean eatery with a pleasant atmosphere. The wait staff is sufficiently good .. All in all, I had a very good experience and will definitely be coming back. I give this place ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2 Stars..
For many years I have enjoyed coming to this location. The food is the most consistent at this particular one in this chain. I love Peruvian food and really enjoy the rotisserie chicken here. The fried plantain is one of my favorite dishes here also. While there are better Peruvian restaurants in Houston, this is a good, affordable place to enjoy great flavors.
Soup and main course were very good. No complaints on the food. Few things to consider: • music was quiet loud if you're trying to have conversation • the "chicha" drink had wayyy too much sugar. It's supposed to b a sweet drink, but too much of a good thing can definitely be a bad thing Food comes out fast if you're hungry.
Definitely the worst service, I ordered food by phone and they give the order incomplete, when I call them about their mistake a useless lady in charge just told me she can't do nothing cause she don't know what to do, she ask me go there one more time and pick it up the food they don't put in my order but they charge for it make me lost more time, in the frito pieces of steelwood came on it what kind of food is it? So be careful if you order something in this place cause they don't care about the costumer service. Definitely don't recommend at all this place it's a really small place and they don't care about the orders. I send a email to the email address showed in the receipt and don't exist also I contact the website and until now nobody take any action about it so what kind of service this place offer? Food is fine expensive for the place but it's fine just the service they need improve a lot cause was really disappointed.
Have always been a fan of Pollo Bravo, but on Apr 24 we ordered a plate to go and this is what we found on the salad as soon as we got home. EDIT: Since the owner replied saying they are not quite sure what I found I guess I need to be more specific and ask him to closely look at the top left corner of the “side salad”.
