Tía Pol Hudson Yards Reviews
We stopped at Tia Pol after a stroll on the Highline on a Sunday-it wasn’t very crowded but the food and service were great. It feels pretty legit Spanish. They have the classics as and some more uncommon tapas on offer. It’s maybe a bit on the pricey side but everything was executed well.
We ordered two boards for a taste of Spain - the Jamon ibérico and the campero (which features various cured meats and cheeses, with pan con tomato). It was delicious! The ham/jamon was so rich and you can tell the quality is high. The service was also impeccable and our waiters were very welcoming. Would definitely come back to try the paellas next time, they smelled amazing!
Went here for Saturday brunch. Not so busy unlike diner cross the street. Few outdoor table as well. Bars in front. Seated indoor right behind high table. Super tapas. Sangria and cerveza to pair. Jamon triangle, my wife not as keen on Manchester, I didn't mind. Brunch has sunny-side egg, chorizo, and potato generous portion. Ordered extra pan along. We liked pan con tomato with much generous layer of tomatoes better than Nacional or Little Spain at Hudson Yards. Rice with squid in black ink most exquisite. Not so salty, perfect. Finished with postre a la mode. Nice coffee. Next time looking forward to order jamon y queso, croqueta and flan, pair with oloroso.
Easily the best restaurant experience I have ever had. The ambience was cosy, the servers were endearing, the food was mind blowingly exceptional, the cocktails on point. I have no notes for improvement. What an absolutely gem. My favourite restaurant in New York. Pure love for this spot.
A perfect place for drinks, a date or meeting people. The staff is attentive responsive but the place is busy so give them a little time. Overall the food is great but the special Octopus and chorizo (pinxtos pulpo y chorizo) and squid in ink and rice are standouts. All for a very reasonable in Manhattan.
I have their food 4 in total but adding 1 to the staff. The space was narrow but it made the vibes warm and lovely. ✨My VIP went to Flan tbh! It was really smooth, creamy and the taste was fantastic! with the caramel sauce. 🍽Beef tongue was also a good one for me. The layers of the tastes were well balanced. Croquette and the squid & rice with ink sauce were not that outstanding. Croquette was a classic; and the rice was too soft. I appreciate the bartender treated me the little dessert as I mentioned my birthday was coming (the next day.) And it was deliiiiucious😌
I came here for a date night and was so impressed by each of the tapas. We ordered 5 dishes to share between us 2. We luckily arrived for happy hour before 6pm and ordered 2 rounds of the hel's belz. Loved the croquettes, po boy, and lamb skewers. We had space for dessert thankfully so got the flan. Will def be returning.
The food is worth every penny. Bring your friends and share everything on the menu. Come in during happy hour. The waitress was really nice and gave us wonderful recommendations. She also let us know that happy hour was ending, but said we could order off the happy hour menu for our first round of drinks.
Had brunch today the French toast was good, the potatoes and sausage was ok .mimosas was very good . Service was good . Price per antree is reasonable. Ambiance is neutral and simple .
This place is pretty good! Wait staff is very friendly. Get the pulse brunch deal! You get unlimited mimosas and sangria for 90 min plus a meal and dessert to share. Small, only a couple of tables and the booth we sat in the back is made of wood and was uncomfortable. Doesn’t seem like they can fit parties more than 5/6 (6 if you squeeze in booth). I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich and the potatoes that came with it, even though they were a little salty. The mimosa was very good. I liked smelling the orange peel in the drink as I drank it, but the second mimosa I got they left out the orange peel. My friend said the sangria was too sweet. I loved the churros! They were hot and crunchy on outside and gooey on inside. Chocolate sauce was thick and delicious, and not too sweet. Would definitely come back here again.
I recently visited Tia Pol during happy hour, and it did not disappoint. Every tapas I tried was flavorful. The kind of small plates that make you want to order just one more... and then another. So be careful… they are pricey for the portion. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a casual evening with good food and good company. Based on this experience alone, I’m already planning to return to try the full dinner menu.
Happy hour until 6pm with a nice selection of drinks and food. You have to be sitting outside or at the bar to get the happy hour though. Would recommend the Patatas Bravas! The cocktails were quite good, but we'd try the wine next time instead Friendly staff who were very welcoming and there for anything you need.
The host was amazing. He was honest about timing and helped us get a seat. Very charming. He even helped us with getting a drink while we waited. The bread with meat special is so amazing I could eat that all day long. The rest was good just too expensive as a whole. Also tap wine is always strange to me
This place has been around forever which I guess is a good thing. They had a few specials on a Sunday night. Ordered about 7 tapas to share. Everything was good, nothing mind blowing. Just keep in mind while they’re tapas, they come with a lot of bread. The basque cheesecake was terrible though. It was dry, tough and much denser than even a NY cheesecake.
