I haven't been to this Golden Chick in Hutto in a long time and today I remember why... These were my tenders I got. I ordered the 4 pc with a side and ordered the family side of Cajun Dirty Rice. It's a good I ordered the rice because the tenders were finger size, and I have big fingers. They were gracious enough to throw in one extra to make up for it but when all are that size it was not a good enough gesture. Not for having spent $20.00.

I am a chicken connoisseur. I love chicken every way to prepare it and I have to be honest this chicken was not very tasty. It wasn't flavored properly. R they just have a bad recipe. I don't know what it is but I did not care for this chicken. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was good. They even gave me a military discount which I appreciate but that chicken just was not good. I did not like it. I'm sorry I cannot recommend it. Sincerely, Joseph Hall of Hutto, Texas

This place has gone down hill. They don't serve actually all "tenders", I can tell they just cut up other part of the breast meat up and they are getting smaller and smaller. 4 out of 5 times my orders were wrong. I understand giving wrong items but you can't forget my gravy and sub out with some old mushy rice.

The food is great however the service is mind blowing. The lobby is supposed to close at 9pm except every time I come they close it between 830-850. My last experience with this golden chick I came into the lobby 20 minutes before the lobby close and the whole time the employees were clearly very agitated they had attitude and made faces the whole time

App does not allow users to specify cajun or original with the wicked wings. We also were shorted one tender on our other order. This location has also given us unsweet tea when we ordered sweet for the gallon of tea bag.

Last 3 orders from here, all with weeks in between orders, we keep getting served chicken nuggets, not chicken tenders. What happened to the size! Food is also never fresh when it gets home or if we order delivery.

It’s our hometown staple. However I’ve noticed a steady and consistent decline in quality which has frustrated me to the point of writing this review. Whether it’s the underwhelming size of the already pricey fish fillets or the now consistently colorless, UNDERCOOKED and LIMP French fries which are often cold when ordering the family tender dinner requiring we place them in the air fryer upon making it home which causes us to have to eat our meal in potions if anyone decides to eat the French fries at all that is. DISAPPOINTED (Repeatedly)!

Terrible food, terrible service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I got sick here, and was in bed for a week. I took it up with management and eventually got to the top, and talked to Corey Bush. He told me he took it up with his lawyer and said his lawyer advised him that I wouldn't win in court if I sued, so he said to have a nice day and ended it. No refund, no offer of a free meal, no compensation of any kind. Next time, I'm calling an ambulance, staying in the hospital, and then he'll have to pay... but I'm never returning to ANY of their locations. Popeyes is my new favorite chicken place. Garbage business. Stay far away.

We had this today and it really missed the mark. We usually come by once a month or so but not sure when we will be back now. Cold, hard chicken. Stiff fries. Even the gravy can tastes weird. And forgotten sides. Not sure if there’s a bunch of new people working or what but it was really bad.

Tried to serve some old chicken that's been out all day and discolored. Kept saying the fresh chicken will be ready and 20 minutes later still want ready so requested a refund
