I go in before my bike ride around Coronado on Sunday mornings. I get the .25 coffee and a $5.00 Bloody Mary on the way back. The morning bar tender always has a wonderful attitude and does an awesome job. Great atmosphere and good people.

Great location! Steps away from the beach! This bar has 2 pool tables, great prices, and lots of outdoor seating. I came here with a couple of friends while we were in town for the USTA national championships. We went to the beach here and grabbed some drinks. The bartender was very nice. We signed a $1 bill and put it up above the bar with the hundreds of others. We had our drinks outside. It was a gorgeous day. Some people had their dogs and we were able to visit with them. It’s a super casual, laid back place to hang out with friends.

The Plank is quite an institution in our little beach town. The new(ish) co-owners are warm and welcoming. Plus, they are dog people, so dogs are welcomed. My dog makes this a regular stop on our walk to collect his treats I often stop for their famous 25 cent coffee in the morning.

Great. History in this place. More authentic feeling than more famous pubs on maybe Coronado Island. Drinks good. Food good. Plus two quarter pool tables and an outside deck.

It is the most Southwest bar in then US you can enjoy libations at. I took a picture by the sign and bought the sweatshirt. I also added my signed dollar bill to the ceiling of dollars. Great service....

We had a drink here yesterday and it was nice and casual....a very laid back atmosphere. It was exactly what we were hoping for when we walked in. The bouncer was polite and friendly and the bartender was helpful. We ordered a couple of beers and went out onto their outdoor patio to enjoy the scenery. Nice place!

Fun easy going all wood bar, open roof, awesome breeze. We had to walk to the bar tender for our drinks, early weekend morn before noon, not sure if always the case, fair prices, good short drinks.

Fun gritty old bar. This is the one bar to party at in Imperial Beach. Can catch the games here , play some pool, and have a tasty snack from Scotty’s Burgers inside. Love the vibe.

Never ever go here. The new owners vanessa is very rude. She preys on all the old men for tips and then keeps them even though she's part owner. It's quite disgusting. She raised all the prices as well her husband's always drunk in the bar will not go back here we asked her for food after the advertised they serve food she refused to make it she is so lazy it's too bad we would have spent a lot of money there

I researched bars to go to prior to our arrival and thought the dollar bills hanging from the ceiling gave this place a super fun vibe ... I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG!!! I have NEVER been treated more rudely in my life. If you are NOT a local, DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR!!! They will make you feel uncomfortable, unwelcomed and unwanted. And you will wait 5x as long as anyone else in there to get a drink if you give the slightest clue you are an "out of towner." My friends and I were sarcastically told to "have a safe trip back to where we came from" as we were leaving. RUDE beyond belief. STAY AWAY!!!

Tourists AVOID - in fact, run in the opposite direction!! STRICTLY LOCALS ONLY. They will quickly let you know that you are not welcome! Never felt so discriminated against in all my life! SO RUDE!

I was visiting a friend from out of town last night and she took me to this bar and we were having a good time and then the security guard came by yelled that we had 15 minutes left and SNATCHED my beer out of my hand. I had like 2/3 left of it and wasn’t going to linger when we got the last call warning. Normally when that happens I would chug the rest of my drink and then head out considering I paid for the drink but this bouncer didn’t give me that opportunity. He just said “no, you need to get out now.” It was my first and only drink at this bar and I could understand if I was too drunk and getting kicked out but I was not even buzzed at that point and just wanting to have one last drink before we called it quits for the night and went home. That bouncer was very rude and it was totally uncalled for. I was super excited to go here because my friend had been hyping it up and it just left a bad impression.
