Stuff I Eat Inglewood Reviews
I love this place, got pretty much everything they had on the menu over the years, i try to go at least once a month when i work in Inglewood, i would go every day if i had more time for lunch. Everything is delicious. I got the Enchiladas today and it's so good and so much food on the plate.
We stumbled upon this vegan restaurant before a concert. My son (meat-eater) and I (vegetarian) both LOVED our meals! (Tofu Tacos for him and Nut Burger for me). The portions were large enough that we took some leftovers. We both want to return with the rest of our family and try other menu selections. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were friendly. Keep up the great work!
I had the most amazing experience here! The staff are amazing and very welcoming. Now, the food is extraordinary. The flavors, food options and freshness of the ingredients make this an amazing vegan restaurant. Coming from someone who is picky and very selective about food, this place had me in a trance. To leave the restaurant feeling full without a heavy dazed feeling that I get with "regular food" left me and my body happy. 10 out of 10, I definitely recommend. My favorites include the stir fry, beet juice, and nachos.
Food was great and because I'm spicy I had to add some hot sauce and the jackfruit and greens went up a notch. The nice thing about visiting this spot Chef Babette came out and said hello I thought that was a great touch makes me want to come back and I will. Thanks for the ammmmazing vegan food!
Wow! Simply wow. I came during opening, and I found this place because of Chef Babettes online wisdom and health advice. Her and her husbands restraunt do not disappoint. The food is amazing. Everything is organic, freshly made with liquid aminos, and cayenne pepper. Black pepper can sit and disrupt the stomach! We were educated, embraced, and well fed. I left feeling full both in the heart and stomach. If you need healing come here! The food is rich, healthy, and not too overheated (heat kills food.) Buy her recipe books!
Very friendly very fresh. I’m not the biggest fan of vegan food but this place is amazing. I had the best Mac and cheese and some tasty burritos. It filled me up. It was worth 1 hour drive from Orange County. We spent $50-$100 to try everything but on average it is $15 bucks per plate and they pack it in. Thank you Chef Babette and Ron for welcoming us in. They’re both done to Earth people. We’ll be coming back again.
I had the vegan nachos. I am a non-vegan and I can confidently say that these are the BEST vegan nachos I have ever had. I’ve tried Veggie Grille’s nachos and these far surpass those hands down. I didn’t feel gross after—it felt very healthy and clean. I might even go so far to say, maybe they’re the best NACHOS I’ve had—non-vegan included!
Every time I come to California no matter where I am. I must visit and get a few orders for the entire family. Everything is so beautiful, delicious, and fulfilling. Unlike many vegan restaurants they have a kids menu. This brings me peace as a mama of 3 littles. I don’t want to do algebra when ordering adult meals for 3 minors trying to figure out portion sizes and if I ordered enough. Thank you the Stuff I Eat!!
I live in another county and have been waiting to eat at the restaurant. It owes me nothing. I loved everything. The enchilada pie was so good. My mom made it, but of course, it was not vegetarian. But, omgoodness, it was excellent. I also got blueberry cheesecake, oatmeal raisin cookies, and lemonade beet juice. You all go support.
My first time at The Stuff I Eat and I am so glad I made it! Mr Davis, Chef Babette’s husband, was there and was so fun to talk to and knowledgeable!!! I had the Organic Nachos Salad (I added sour cream and jalapeño), with the cranberry lemon cheesecake, and the beet lemonade… WORDS are not sufficient for the bursts of flavor and how good these were- Plant Based??? Really? The cheesecake was raw and I will stand it up against The Cheesecake Factory’s… Thank you Chef Babette and Ron Davis for your commitment to excellence in food in our community! Regards, all the way from Austin, Tx
Delicious food! Clean eating with some down home soul food vibes. The ambiance is warm & inviting! Not a speck of dirt in this place! Highly recommend the enchilada pie and the vegan soul food plate. Honestly everything looked amazing. Countless orders for their burrito & nacho salad passed by us. Non stop business, food prepared as you order by the friendliest staff who constantly clean and greet customers! The owner pictured below sharing her diet faves looking fab & fit at almost 60.
The food was very good and well seasoned. I ordered the Soul Food Platter but it really didn't taste like soul food. My favorite on the plate was the corn bread, which reminded me of corn bread and water bread......yummy. Nevertheless it was good but I could have done without the Mac & Cheese. I love, love, love, Mac & Cheese so it hurts me to say that. I was with other friends who ordered the crispy fry potatoes and the lava wrap all were scrumptious.
First time here. VeryNice lady in the front, great flavor on the sauce, I asked for no rice in my lava burrito. Took a little while to get my order. There's rice! I returned,.lady was nice about it. However I waited another 30 minutes to.get the second plate. So pretty much 1 hour altogether just waiting for food. Got a free slice of pie because they closing. Great place but wished that if they messed up your order, that they place priority in making it.
Great restaurant never my intention not to give one 5 stars, but the food was edible. Nothing that would make me really say wow this is worth running back to. I got bbq tacos they were a bit greasy and not as spicy as i felt. Im a big salt guy so i wish it was seasoned just a bit more. But the desert was great! I got a strawberry shortcake and as a vegan we rarely ever get these. When i tell you it was worth the extra money it was. Other than that. Lots of empty space in the restaurant personally loved the books they were selling.
Service was good. Food - Kale greens were very good, and even better with hot sauce. Black eyed peas were flavor-lacking. BBQ jackfruit was just ok. Potato salad was ok. Yams were a healthier, ok version of southern yams. Not horrible, but not the yummy yams we’re used to eating at holidays. I didn’t try the cornbread. Mock Chicken salad was good, but not the best. I’m disappointed that this place failed to measure up to the hype.
Visited here three (3) weeks ago. Hubby found this place and wanted us to try it. The cashier was helpful. While we were waiting on our order. One of the workers came to quarrel with the cashier. Apparently an elderly couple were served twice. Now, you all couldnt handled this different? Go in the back have your discussion or argument there. Another gesture give the couple the meal on the house, if it could be done. That was very unprofessional and our first time there. Not a good look. The food is a lot. A bit pricey. Different things to sample, has variety. Mac n cheese was good. Candid yam was a bit sweet. Hubby mentioned was ok. Not sure if we will try again but good to know what is out there.
Place expensive for fast food and food was not great. I had the BBQ soul plate with banana pudding for dessert. Mac n cheese was just ok Kale just tasted like hot water BBQ jackfruit didn't taste right And those was why I came but it got worse Potato salad has tomatoes and huge onions in it which I never saw in my life Cold slaw was ok but also had huge onions and mixed with the slaw Black eye peas tasted plain Corn bread didn't have no flavor spit it out after one bite & Took one scoop of banana pudding and was grossed out
I had the lunch burrito. It was loaded with lots of flavor and texture. Amazing burrito! However I also purchased the blueberry cake. They have them sitting on the counter. Unfortunately they had very little lighting inside so I couldn't actually see that well. I opened the desert and this foul smell came out. It smelled like spoiled/rotten milk. I took a bite and it was so nasty. This has been sitting out way to long. I don't trust any restaurant that dosen't monitor things like this. All this could have been rectified but you can't get a hold of anyone. I wouldn't recommend any cake dessert.
