I like going here to pick up food via the Too Good To Go app, and always have a great time. They usually give out three cups of sides, and it always suffices for 1-1.5 meals, so can't complain.

I had their “shrimp trio” and it was amazingly delicious. Cooked to perfection and not too oily nor saggy. An employee named Zayra was helpful and very kind. She’s a great employee as she makes sure everything is fine with the order and the dine in area is cleaned properly. Restrooms were also clean and sanitary! I would recommend this place.

We live 5 minutes away in Irvine and do take at the Culver and Barranca location out about once a week. Nora is the manager and overseas an incredible kitchen. The Salmon dishes are fantastic as are all the side dishes we have tried, the brown rice cooked perfectly, the corn nicely spiced is highly recommended; my wife loves the zucchini- try the garlic olive oil!. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Yesterday I could not add another side dish online and Melissa greeted me when I came in and got it added to my order. Wonderful patio. In sum, the food id terrific, the prices are really a deal. Highly recommended!

I just had to write a review, because the service at this California Fish Grill is top notch!! I’ve eaten at different CFGs around SoCal and this one is by far the friendliest, with the best service. Shoutout to manager Melissa and server Alex with all the staff. Honestly they were so accommodating and kept checking in on me, I made me feel like I was at an upscale restaurant. The food is great too! I can’t mention it enough that I’ve been a faithful CFG patron for about ten years and at this location the food just tastes better. Check them out if you’re in the mood for some healthy eats at a reasonable price. Especially this branch! P.S., Just keep in mind it’s cashless.

I come here all the time after church. The portions are always really great for what you pay and they do offer a veteran discount, which is really nice as many places do not. They have plenty of variety without having a menu that is too confusing. I love getting the jumbo shrimp. If you are looking for something that is better than McDonald’s, but is not as fancy as like a steakhouse I recommend this place. Melissa was working the front and was very helpful for making sure my order was correct and successful.

We really like this fast casual place. When we are in CA, we always swing by. The family likes the butter white fish and I really enjoy the dynamite shrimp bowl.

Nice location with plenty of parking. Service was great with helpful team members. Also, it is a nice atmosphere to enjoy your food without loud conversations and noise. Food was freshly prepared with a good selection of menu options for your desire. My only suggestion is to get rid of the self-service electronic machines. Customers prefer an intimate human touch with their dining experience. Thank you

It’s more of a fast-casual setup—you order via a kiosk or at the front counter, then wait for a message or call when your food is ready. We started with the breaded calamari, which was a decent appetizer to kick off the meal. For our mains, we went with their grilled platter options, choosing swai and salmon as our proteins. The portion sizes were filling, and they offer a good selection of healthy sides. The salmon was grilled perfectly, and their sauces complemented the dishes well. A standout was their tartar sauce, which paired perfectly with the breaded starters. I also enjoyed their fountain drink selection, especially the pineapple cream soda—a refreshing choice. Overall, if you're in the mood for a quick, healthy, and flavorful seafood meal, this spot is worth checking out!

Everything was great the shrimp salad nachos salmon except the baby cabbage side was too burnt the chicken bowl was full of rice and few chicken we requested something for side they said they can’t do anything about it that was little disappointing seriously the bowl was 89% rice and do not order the chicken bowl

Unfortunately, recent visits suggest a significant shift in the brand’s standards and overall value proposition. Key Concerns • Diminishing Quality: Both the portion sizes and the quality of the ingredients have decreased noticeably, no longer reflecting the standard the restaurant once maintained. • Service Model: The dining experience has transitioned toward a fast-food style of service, losing the attentive atmosphere that previously set it apart. • Missing Amenities: The removal of the signature salsa bar is a disappointing loss for long-time patrons who valued that customization. With the current pricing, the value for money is no longer apparent. The visible decline in foot traffic should serve as a clear signal to management that a re-evaluation of the current business model is necessary to restore the restaurant to its former excellence.

Worst seafood I’ve ever had in my life. Took a bite, and left the restaurant hungry. Ordered the Cajun ahi tuna. I’m sure you can tell what it tastes like just looking at the picture … Update: talked to the manager. He was very nice and offered to change the plate to anything else. I just didn’t feel like they can hit the mark. I am giving them a 5 on service
