Warehouse 72 - Irvine Irvine Reviews
Never knew this place existed until our new employee recommended. We had our company Christmas party here. The place is spectacular with modern decor inside and out. They have a cool wall LED screen that you can use for photos or any presentation you want. What's impressed us was the management were pouring wines and helping out their staff to make sure our group is taking care of. I highly recommend this place for company events.
Beet salad = perfection (real portion!), veggie burger best‑seasoned I’ve had, pesto pasta tweaked to _our_ taste. *Warm service by Conner* — he listened, curated, and made us feel taken care of. *Love that they genuinely cater to vegetarian & vegan customers* we will be back !!
This place is a hidden gem. Food is good. Fire pit in the back was perfect hang out. The restaurant VP introduced herself and had the most fun energy and you could tell the servers and bartenders were having a good time. RARE these days. We are going back tonight!!
I have never giving 5 stars across the board until today. I typically do not like Octopus but this was tasty. Recommend the lamb chops and seafood risotto. Absolute must is the frozen smores for desert. Service was impeccable attentive but not intrusive. Will be visiting again. Parking can be challenging.
Chicken dish is my favorite!!! The large LED screen, fire pit, and indoor/outdoor bar are all great areas to enjoy a cocktail.
Place has great vibes and amazing food. The bartenders are engaging. Truly creating a unique experience.
Warehouse 72 completely blew me away! I honestly didn’t expect a restaurant in a hotel to have such fresh, high-quality food paired with a cool, vibrant vibe—but they nailed it. I ordered the Caesar salad, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve had. The lettuce was super crisp, the dressing creamy and flavorful, with amazing croutons and Parmesan crisps that added the perfect crunch. The portion was so generous that I couldn’t even finish it (and I usually order two!). I added the Chilean sea bass on top, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—thick, flaky, and crispy on top, just like I asked. Nitin and the team were so accommodating of my custom order and got every detail right. Flawless meal! The vibe here is awesome. They have a gorgeous outdoor patio with a bar and large windows that open up, making it feel fresh and open. It’s the perfect spot to unwind. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and so personable. I also loved that they validate parking, which made the whole experience even easier. I wrapped up my meal with a slice of their cheesecake, which was the perfect sweet note to end on. They have standalone locations across the U.S. (which is why it’s not like a typical hotel restaurant), and this location has a special energy. It was buzzing on a Saturday night with people from all over, and I can’t wait to come back. A huge thank you to Nitin and the team for their amazing hospitality! Highly recommend!
Celebrated my early birthday here and let me tell you the service was amazing everyone there attended us great with amazing hospitality. Shrimp tacos and kimchi fried rice hit the spot Super convenient next to the Hotel. Don Poblano was fire for the Paloma. I want to give a huge shoutout to: Michael Manager Michael Bartender Q Bartender Chris Bartender, Issac and everyone else. for the great service! Recommend anyone to visit they will take care of you!
Had a very enjoyable dinner with two of my friends here last night. The bone marrow was excellent and salmon was very tasty. Valerie took care of us with attentiveness and patiently explained the menu to us. She also took time to explain the history of warehouse 72, how food is locally sourced and recommended the delicious mozzarella made in house.
A wonderful gem that I stumbled upon in my hotel. Great atmosphere with a cool vibe. Whether you dine inside or out you are going to have a wonderful experience. My favorite wine by the glass was sign of good things to come. The menu did not disappoint. From the truffle Arancini to the lobster bisque or the filet frites; everything was well prepared and full of flavor. The decadent dessert was the raspberry on top! What a special way to celebrate my birthday on my own.. Thank you for making my day special!
It's not often there is a place that succeeds in perfect marks in all areas. But Warehouse 72 exceeded all expectations. The general manager, Francisco, was phenomenal in his care and attention to detail during our meal. He has a real commitment to the customers and it showed wonderfully in his service and friendly personality - this was just the start and I had no idea. Our server, Conner, could have been a professional server for years he was so excellent. I felt I was dining at a 5 star restaurant given how attentive he was. Our water was never empty, our food was explained wonderfully, and the courses were brought out in perfect timing. One thing that set the experience apart was when we ordered our desserts - we were almost done with the delicious choices we ordered when it was brought to our attention we had accidentally received one of the wrong items and had the correct one brought out. (the dessert was so impeccable we didn't notice at all!) Most places would have seen we were satisfied and not said a thing, but Warehouse 72 made it right, even when no need to. Now that is excellent service and a commitment to the customer! All in all, I had not expected to be so blown away by the service, and it truly rates 10/10 on all marks. The last thing I will touch on is the atmosphere of the restaurant. I was invited because a friend had seen some videos of it online and it had a cool look - while dining, it was as cool as it looked online inasmuch as it is unique and not exaggerated in photos or videos. I highly recommend checking this place out!
If I could, I would have give this place 4.5. Really modern and cute restaurant with fabulous service. Decoration and wall display were unique. Overall, there was nothing wrong with any of the food we had, everything was tasty and well executed in terms of preparation and cooking. At the same time, there was nothing extraordinary nor to die for about the food. For example, the salmon was delicious and served with reasonable sides and decent platting (same with the lamb chops and Peruvian chicken), but on the flip side the pork belly kimchi rice didn’t have any character and the presentation was a bit disappointing. Definitely, don’t miss out on the kampachi crudo. Cocktails were good. Giving them 5 stars instead of 4 because I think it is worth at least one visit if you are in the area.

We recently held a small event to celebrate my daughter's birthday at Warehouse 72. I worked with Brian (Manager) from the start to book the room, menu selection and my many questions and he was incredibly responsive and kind. The day of the event the entire staff was friendly and attentive from the moment we got there to set up the to the very end once everyone was leaving. A huge shout out to the 2 gentlemen who helped serve food and drinks as well, they were tremendously helpful and courteous, our guests were well taken care of throughout the event and they were constantly ensuring everything was going well. Our party was ~35 ppl, food, drink and clean up was steady and we really didn't have to "look for someone" to do something. I had several family members/guests say they enjoyed everything and they wanted to call out how great the staff was. The food was also amazing! Most guests complimented the portion size and taste! I highly highly recommend Warehouse 72!! Staff, service and food is top notch!
I went for a snack and cocktail while I was waiting for my wife…… three cocktails and two dinners later. Great evening. CHILL VIBES. Nice but not Fancy, classy with a diverse crowd. Monty and Thomas were great. They know how to make a drink!!! Will be back.
We celebrated a birthday lunch at Warehouse 72 and it was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it perfect for special occasions. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and Valerie made our experience extra memorable with her warm and thoughtful service. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
Absolutely perfect for my husband's 75th birthday with our beautiful family. The food,, the service, the gorgeous venue was outstanding! Specials thanks to Mike and Justin T for handling everything so beautifully! Happy and Healthy New Year to all!🥂

I had an amazing experience. The ambience was amazing. They have an LED screen that covers a whole wall of the restaurant where it’s a slide that shows different sceneries or art. The food was absolutely amazing. The half chicken was chefs kiss the lamb chops were absolutely amazing. could’ve used a little more seasoning, but they were tender and juicy And we had pork belly fried rice, which was absolutely amazing and seasoned to perfection shrimp tacos with coleslaw and some sort of sauce that was absolutely amazing as well. Everything was amazing. The drinks were amazing. I I had a cocktail which was recommended by the waitress and it was amazing and I got a glass of wine which was flat and I didn’t particularly care for it but other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. The food was amazing. I had an amazing birthday dinner and I highly recommend.
It’s a solid 4 :) First of all, good luck finding the parking lot on your first try. The restaurant is inside a Hyatt and entrance is designed by some prankster. As you pull over the lobby, you realize there are 100 disability spots and none others. Then trying to drive out, all roads are one way the wrong way. I’m sure someone is watching you on a camera, laughing … With that into out of the way, food is not amazing, but quite good. Salmon was better than others. Ambience is very nice with that giant LED. I actually would have preferred to lay down in front of it and cast some horror movie. And lastly, the staff are very attentive and nice
Although some of the cocktails are not that good, they do have the best priced happy hour menu ranging from $5 to $8. Self Parking is in the back (free 3 hours w/ validation)

We came here for a birthday celebration! The highlight is the digital art that sets a relaxing and serene tone. The food was good and the service was outstanding. Additionally, the food was cold when the plates arrived at the table. I enjoyed the seabass (very small portion), and the vegetables were okay. The parking is free for two hours behind the hotel by validating your ticket when dining. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Restaurant located in the lobby of Hyatt Regency Irvine but not belonging to the hotel. Sober decor and ok service from a friendly staff. We started by sharing a charcuteri board which was ok (we've had better and we've had worse...). For main we did the truffle pasta, pork belly and seafood risotto. For dessert everyone did strawberry cheesecake. Everything was fine but not above average. We will not return.

Nice decor, friendly service, food not so good. Average hotel restaurant food. Nothing to wow about. Honestly food was either too salty or too bland, or to dry or runny.
We came here with our daughter for my wife’s birthday. The food and ambience was great but the experience good have been a lot better if they had paid attention to the request made in the online reservation. I had requested them to get us a small cake with a candle on it for us to celebrate my wife’s birthday but they failed to do that. They could have easily made our experience special by just a simple gesture. We even ordered deserts after dinner, all they had to do was put a candle on the cheesecake but nope, that was too much to ask. They need to pay closer attention to the requests made in the online reservations.
I failed to take any pictures. The happy hour prices are good. Service was terrible. I am not sure if they were under staffed (it did not appear to be an issue) or if they just don't have any hustle (18 years in the industry, I know hustle). I was very disappointed, I was planning on dining here several times during my stay but I think I'll Uber out into Irvine. Update on 3/13: I decided to give this place one more try. Instead of sitting at the bar. I stand in the restaurant. I also ordered off the regular. Maybe not happy hour. The wait staff was attentive. The food was delicious. They must just not give you too much attention if you order off the happy hour menu because they figure they don't make any money off you so they ignore you.

This restaurant was great but today I had a very poor experience. The burger was super soggy and cold… fries were like 60% salt and 40% potatoes… they were so salty I was not able to eat them. Beer was acid, probably not many people order that one (Weiss) and it became acid. It is a shame as it used to be really good (I noticed most of the great dishes are gone as well like arancini and lamb chops).. not sure if they change the chef or what but although I always stay at the regency I will not come back
