Rancho Restaurant Irving Reviews
Great customer service. Especially by front end Supervisor Silvia Lopez. Great shopping experience. The store brings back memories of Hispanic stores back home in Brownsville TX. Gracias
The first time eating here, the food was AWESOME and very tasteful and filling. The service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend eating here when in the area.
Good spot to grab a meal. Everything came out fresh and the service was quick and friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
Had such a lovely time here. The food was delicious and came out quickly, and the whole vibe was super chill and welcoming. Maggie was so sweet and attentive—it really made the experience that much better. Definitely a place I’d come back to again.
This is a must eat restaurant. So worth the visit. It was delicious. Homemade vibe for sure. The salsa and the homemade tortillas like your momma use to make you. Seriously!! You have to go. I was suppose to be on a diet and this place just made me forget I had to watch my diet I ate my entire plate 😂.
I absolutely love this place. I come here often. The food is amazing. Probably the best Mexican food in the DFW in my opinion. The servers are always nice. The prices are really good. It's always clean here. The music is nice. If you want delicious Mexican food for a great price, check this place out!
Very nice sports bar combo Family Restaurant all the wait staff seems to be very nice and friendly I would recommend anybody to take their family and friends to this location and have some really nice atmosphere here I'm here about 7 p.m. on a Wednesday seems really nice and clean my name is Arnold and I approve this message
Fairly quiet place for a Monday afternoon. We were greeted promptly, and the drinks we ordered came out quickly. For not being busy, our food took some time, but I can appreciate freshness, if that's what it was. My wife had the Enchiladas Suizas, and I had the Trio Enchiladas. All the food was good. On my entree, I liked the tangy tomatillo sauce as well as the sour cream sauce. The disappointment came when my wife and I were having a conversation about 75% of the way through our meal and the staff seemed like they were trying to rush us out by brining the check as well as to-go boxes that we did not request yet. Overall, good food, quiet atmosphere, but felt rushed towards the end of our meal.
Went here while visiting a friend in Texas and while the food was delicious, unfortunately I found a piece of hair in my food 🙁. They did take the food off the bill and didn’t give any issues when I told them their was a hair in my food. The sweet ice tea, refried beans, and homemade flour tortillas were AMAZING.
I got the barbacoa, it was salty, presentation of the food was sad didn’t excite me to eat there at all. The environment did not help, it was loudly obnoxious of drinking men for the middle of the day. They need to work on service for sure, the servers were not bad but don’t communicate very well. As well, having a restaurant and no free refills on drinks specifically sodas in my opinion is horrible. No sign for gratuity charge or not informing the guest. Some plates are overly expensive. Overall 3 stars is fair it was a decent place, but not a place to eat frequently.
Went here today with a group of friends. 4 people total. It wasn’t busy at all when we came in but service was very slow. Waited 20-30 minutes with all of our drinks empty waiting for refills, food took about 30 minutes to make as well. Ultimately ended up going to the bar to order drinks while waiting for our food because the waitress didn’t come back for a long time…when the waitress came back I ended up ordering a frozen margarita that took forever as well. It sat on the bar counter for 15/20 minutes before I ended up walking over there to get it myself and after it sitting there for a while it was already melting and watered down. Couldn’t even taste any alcohol in it at all so I sent it back. The service here is horrible, the food is decent as well as the prices but definitely not the best either. I could think of many other places with better service and food just as good if not better. Don’t recommend.
Came in for lunch today. Service is good but the quality of food is low. The carne asada was chewy and unable to cut with the knife. Caldo de pollo was not very good either. Only writing this review because I’m feeling sick and have thrown up 4 times since eating the food. Low quality food and seems like it was old and that is what made me sick.
Breakfast food was good. The flour tortillas were raw!! We tried telling the waitress but they said that's how they are suppose to be. Definitely not. They really need to fix this issue. Service was horrible. Waited for waitress to come back to ask for some salsa but she never came.
My waitress was cool. I first ordered the fajitas… everything tasted like sausage. Never had sausage in my fajitas before. There were no peppers just half cooked onions. Nothing tasty about it. I sent it back. I ordered a taco instead…. No flavor … greasy tortilla…. I’m done. I couldn’t eat it l. Paid more to tip the waitress. I will never return. 18.00 fajitas… they put more onions on the skillet than anything. When the waitress said all she had was pancakes and quesadillas… I shouldn’t of ordered anything. The first bite of this fajitas I got nauseous. 🫢
Been coming here for years and the food is good but they are always out of crab legs which is the main reason we go. However the fish soup is delicious. Drinks have a nice kick and are well priced $8-12. There have been small fruit flies the past couple times we've been which are gross. We most likely won't ever go back.
Food not bad, just don’t be in a rush if you plan on going here, very under staffed, long ticket time, staffed just needs to be retrained and make sure they speak to people that are waiting at the front when they first come in, just a simple “I will be with you in a minute” would make a world of difference. Coming from the restaurant business there are a number of things that I would like to change. I’m giving two stars for the lack of service, under staffed, not checking back on us as we ate our food.
I ordered the mariscada plate and it was absolutely atrocious! 🤮 The rice was awful, fish lacked any seasoning, and the cocktail was straight up ketchup in a cup. Additionally, the air vents that are over the tables are full of dust. That is so disgusting! Clean that up.
5 Stars 1st time there. Great food but time there was special because of Victoria!! Thank you. Update: 9/7/2025 ⭐ 1 out of 5 stars I used to love this place — my last visit was 4 years ago and it was exceptional, easily 5 stars. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was the opposite. I placed a $60 pickup order, which came in tightly tied bags. There was no way to verify the order without ripping the bags apart, so I had to trust it was correct. When I got home, I discovered they forgot my 8 steak tacos. I called and they admitted the mistake, but instead of fixing it in a customer-friendly way, I was told I had to drive back and pick them up. That meant another 20 minutes wasted and my other food getting cold. To make matters worse, my chicken burrito was almost 80% rice, with very little chicken or cheese — even though I had clearly ordered it with chicken, cheese, onions, cilantro, and sour cream only. I even ordered in Spanish to avoid confusion. When I called, the response I got was, “Oh, I’m sorry, let me talk to the cook.” But at that point, the damage was done. For $60, this was very disappointing. It’s sad to see the quality and service drop this much. This used to be a go-to spot for me, but this visit was a major letdown.
