Locanda Reloup Isasca Reviews
Torneremo sicuramente!
Servizio eccellente! Proprietari super disponibili! Da ritornarci!
A mountain restaurant with something extra. We had a great time, without needing to be "glamorous," just the right amount of pampering... it felt like being at home... with family. Simple, traditional dishes... excellent! High-quality wine by the glass, and a few bottles are available if you prefer. Large summer terrace and parking in front of the restaurant, in the town square. If you want to enjoy a simple experience, coming is a must. Highly recommended!
Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent tasting menu at a good price. Excellent value. During the Christmas season, don't miss the nativity scene, a 5-minute walk from the inn.
Lunch at the Locanda, with the tasting menu, was perfect, both in flavor and quantity! The service was extremely friendly and prompt. Kudos to the desserts, unique and exquisite. Definitely worth repeating!
I had frequented this inn a long time ago, when it was still in Brossasco, and I returned last weekend with my wife and son. For a few years, it has been located in Isasca in a recently renovated building, formerly used as the town school (if I understood correctly). The courtesy of the owners has remained unchanged, and, if anything, the quality of the food has improved. The menu offers a selection commensurate with the attentive management of the kitchen: appetizers and four or five first courses, second courses, and desserts, all inspired by the local area. The three of us ordered: - two mixed appetizers featuring ten different selections (omelette, farinata, stuffed egg, Russian salad, flan, salami, anchovies with two types of bagnet, polenta with cotechino and cold cuts) - three first courses: ravioli - one second course: ossobuco All with authentic flavor, without exception. Fair price; approximately €80.00 including service charge, water and coffee.
Excellent lunch and very kind people!! Absolutely recommended!!
If you love tranquility, excellent cuisine, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners, convenient parking, the possibility of bringing your furry friend, more than reasonable prices, I would say that here you will find everything.
A must-visit when cycling in the valley, and consequently on other occasions as well. You feel at home, the owners are always welcoming, smiling, and friendly. The menu is varied, traditional, and vegetarian. Excellent value.
August 15, 2025 Family lunch. Excellent options, prices consistent with the dishes and service. The owners were kind, friendly, and helpful, especially with me, who am celiac. We arranged to meet again in the fall to try their bagna cauda. So, see you soon, good luck, and thank you.
We stayed at Locanda Reloup and the experience was excellent in every way. The cuisine was excellent and meticulously prepared, with dishes that reflect the local area. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive, even in small gestures: they even brought a bowl of water for our dog without hesitation, which we greatly appreciated. We chose the tasting menu and were thrilled: every course was impeccable. The Varaita Valley ravioli were the real highlight, but a special mention goes to the main course: the Provençal bites, simply soft and delicious. The menu offers excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back!
We stopped for one night at this inn and had a wonderful time. The room was spotless and comfortable. We had dinner and found vegan options for every course, even managing to have a completely vegan tasting menu. Everything was delicious, including breakfast with homemade biscuits. We felt truly pampered. The owners were very kind. In short, a hidden gem that you absolutely must try, also due to its super strategic location for excursions in the Varaita Valley.
We had lunch with the family; the owners are truly delightful and very kind. Top-quality food and an excellent selection, even for me (who suffers from celiac disease). The gluten-free dishes are mouth-watering, including desserts. Great prices. We'll definitely be back for a stay.
We ate here for lunch on Sunday! Everything was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Vegan options are available for all courses, from appetizers to dessert. We'll definitely be back.
We had lunch at this osteria and had a wonderful time! Starting with the kindness of the owner, who welcomed us with an unforgettable smile, which is always a plus! We then had a mixed antipasto, which was superb, varied, and well-balanced (the potato with aioli was superb!), followed by the gratin onion soup, which we couldn't resist (and we chose well!). My boyfriend also had the main course, a priest's hat with asparagus sauce and roasted potatoes. Very, very good! Excellent options for vegetarians and vegans, too. Excellent value, we spent about €35 each. (The menu proposal is €28.) We'll be back and recommend it.
We went on October 6th for my husband's birthday with our two daughters. The food was excellent, with high-quality ingredients and very welcoming staff. Knowing it was my husband's birthday, they even put a candle on the dessert we ordered. Everything was really good, and the service was fast. Congratulations!
From the moment you arrive, you can tell it's going to be an excellent stay: Mrs. Grazia escorts you to your room, leaving a pitcher for water. My room was very spacious and had all the comforts, including Wi-Fi. I absolutely recommend dinner. Mr. Bruno guides you through the selection of locally inspired dishes, beautifully prepared and presented. A standout (for me) are the gnocchi from Valvaraita. The desserts are also excellent. There's ample parking for cars and motorcycles in front of the inn. It's a perfect base for excursions in the surrounding area. Overall, a highly recommended choice.
We spent 10 wonderful days from August 8th to 18th, hiking in the mountains and mountain biking. We were pampered upon our return by Grazia, Bruno, and Giulio, who were always ready to meet our every need. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a selection of typical Piedmontese specialties. The room was large and spotlessly clean. We left feeling overwhelmed by the feeling of leaving behind friends! Thank you...you've touched our hearts! Virna and Fabio.
We were greeted warmly by the owner, who immediately escorted us to our room with a carafe of chilled water. The room was very nice and quiet. We left our motorcycle in the parking lot in front of the restaurant. We also booked a table for two, which I must say was a good thing, considering that many other guests arrived. We chose the tasting menu, which included a delicious mixed appetizer, a first course of fantastic gnocchi, a second course of meat morsels with carrots and grilled potatoes, a dessert of a slice of buckwheat and peach cake, and a sweet tart...delicious...many compliments to the owners who served us attentively and graciously. Breakfast was also excellent...highly recommended.
I'll start by saying that my review is for the trattoria attached to the inn, but it's still managed by the same management. What can I say? A very traditional, well-kept, and clean location. The menu features traditional dishes and local dishes from the valley, with a few small innovations that aren't disruptive at all, in fact, very pleasant. The service was very attentive but not intrusive, and the bill was more than reasonable for the quantity and quality of what we ate. What can I say? We'll definitely be back.
We went just for the food, and it was all delicious! The owner was incredibly kind, and we opted for the tasting menu. The starter included a mixed vegetable omelette, Russian salad, lard, and fennel salad. The first course was ravioli from the Varaita Valley. The second course was bite-sized Lanzo beef with carrots and potatoes. For dessert, a choice of cakes; I chose the apricot tart. Everything was superb, and the bill was completely reasonable. Highly recommended!
They served very nice and high quality food, the tlocal fish was amazing. Also the vegan dish was very very good. Thank you!
