Oishii Bowl Ithaca Reviews
Super fast service and consistently fantastic food. I love coming here!
If you want to have newly made, quick Asian Food (especially Thai & Japanese), Oishii Bowl is the place I always regularly visit. The taste is really delicious! The price & the portion is reasonable. The quality is good. The atmosphere is clean. We can order via Kiosk/ Tablet and that’s convenient. They have 2 options: dine-in and take-away. The only thing I would critic is that we cannot add on some proteins in dish, unless you directly contact with staffs (which normally are not there at the counter). In summary, every thing is good here. Looking forward to coming back for sure.
#10 extra spicy - absolutely divine! Good portions - grab and go kinda spot. Minimalist but food hits
I came here for lunch and it immediately became my favorite place to eat. The prices are great, the portion sizes are perfect, and the lo-fi chill hop music makes the area. Definitely the new date spot to relax and eat.
Great place to grab an Asian rice or noodle bowl. Getting an order to stay or to go takes about 10-15 minutes and the prices are all <$10. Interesting appetizer items like takoyaki will show up over time, so its worth going back. A word of caution, if you go during lunch time (12:15pm-1:15pm) during the work week, the place will be packed with Cornell students. Call ahead and skip the line!
Dropped by for lunch during spring break on a cold afternoon. Many of the other restaurants were closed and we were thankful this place was open. There were other customers but it was not crowded. It is a take out place and the food is decent, but not spectacular. The ramen was tasty and the Katsu curry a little greasy. Good option for Asian good in college town in Ithaca.
Bad - too salty. This food seems pre-packaged and not fresh. :,(
Im only leaving this review so some one at this place might see it. What happened the broth with the tan tan men? It used to be great but last 2 times I order it tasted of nothing. 2022 tan tan men was 5 star. 2023 tan tan men 1 star
The katsudon was very salty (felt it like it was drenched in soy sauce) that I couldn't even finish half of it. They also added a small (strawberry?) pink drink with jelly in a container to my surprise, but it was beyond sweet that it reminded me of cough medicine. This lunch pairing was super odd, perhaps they could just add miso soup on the side instead of this. Overall, seasoning was just off and the pork cutlets were soggy already despite getting there 15 min for pick up. I guess I had expected too much from restaurants in Ithaca.
The quality is declining. Used to like this restaurant. Ordered a tongatsu don today, and the pork stinks and was undercooked. It’s actually very dangerous. Never eat at here
I really wanted to like this place considering Maru Ramen, is no longer Ramen. My food was served cold and I actually got food poisoning even after it was heated back up. They had no soda to be served and the service was just poor. I highly recommend be cautious with this food.
Absolutely disappointing experience. I ordered a tonkotsu ramen, and they literally used an instant noodle and package to make this dish and charged me almost $13 including taxes. Tasted so bad, and it was such a waste of money.
I would say it's the worst Japanese restaurant i've ever been to. First, ramen here was nasty, even raw and sticky together, and the fish cakes were pretty expensive and not worth it. Also, the price was quite high compared to other Japanese restaurants, and they forced you to give at least 15% tips. However, they didn't provide worthy service. We had to serve ourselves and they were very rude to us when we asked about the dishes.
