Definitely best Chinese food in jackson. We always get family style and get 5 things its plenty to feed 3 of us with plenty leftover for the next day. (I love left over Chinese food). You will not be disappointed

The food and service was excellent. A good menu selection, for lunch and dinner. I have visited here on four different times, both dinning in and take out.

Not sure if the reviews I read are going to the same place. Went here for lunch. First off the entire place is extremely clean, which isn't the case for many restaurants. We were greeted and seated, drinks were brought. The menu is extensive. We had the tempura vegetables and dipping sauce appetizer. Both were excellent. I had the lunch special with sesame chicken. The fried rice and chow mien were very good with a slight grilled flavor. The sesame chicken was great, fresh and crispy with fantastic sauce. My guest had broccoli beef and said it was very good as well. Highly recommend!

Coming from the east coast surprisingly good Chinese food is super hard to find. However we found our spot now! My husband loved the Calamari so much and kept saying how amazing and huge it was! I couldn't believe how amazing their sweet and sour chicken was because it's fairly common but their chicken was so so crispy and perfect! Wasn't soggy and was absolutely 100 percent fresh to order!!!! Husband also got the orange chicken and said the sauce was more flavorful and def homemade and his chicken was crispy too! I mean no lie it took a little longer but we went at a very busy time at dinner on Halloween but it was so so worth it! We got their pork fried rice and couldn't believe the flavor because it was rather light in color however it was the most flavorful rice we ever had since moving here 9 years ago. As I write this I'm already planning to get my lunch from there tomorrow!!!

Totally on point! Superb execution. Fresh, crafted with a culinary understanding. Super surprised to find this hidden gem in Jackson. Quite authentic flavors, cuts, textures and overall experience. Quality of food is very good. Definitely recommend over other places in the area.

My dad enjoys Chinese food as do I. My husband is not a huge fan. Some of the best we've had. My dad was quite pleased. My husband had chicken wings which he said were very tasty. We all enjoyed the pork chow mein. Dad loved the sweet and sour pork and my sesame chicken was tasy with just the right amount of heat. Enjoyable meal, with great portion sizes. Well done.

Takes a little bit of time to get it. But the Mushu pork is amazing. And if you order any of the hot soups they are divine. Big portions and nice and hot. Very clean environments they always say if you go into the bathroom and it’s a disgusting mess than you have Front view show of what their kitchen looks like. Very good clean wholesome food. And the staff is dynamite.

We ate off the lunch menu, service was great, food was good. Mine wasn't as hot (warm) as I would have liked. But was good. Better than anything in Pioneer.

Fresh and tasty dishes at reasonable prices. I'm not sure which part of China the cook/s hail from, but the flavors are more delicate with less pungent and aged tastes. Comfortable location with more decorations than the average Chinese Restaurant with not just a golden Buddha on the counter, but four colorful ones greating you as you enter and various other pieces of artwork on the walls and counters. Staff is friendly and helpful.

One of the better Asian restaurant in the Jackson area. The chicken with hot garlic sauce is the only disappointment so far. It is good but not what I would call garlic. The place is clean. The price is good. The service is fast.

Lots of traditional American-Chinese food. Good balance of spicy and not so spicy choices. They were able to make some dishes vegetarian, or switch up the meat. Very accommodating, and friendly service.

Disappointed. Hot and sour soup was not spicy and to sweet. The Mongolian beef was dry, not tender….it was old and there wasn’t very much of it. My lunch consisted mostly of rice and chow mein that I wouldn’t even consider chow mein. The chow mein was oily and didn’t have beans sprouts. The chow mein was basically spaghetti noodles with the oily Chinese flavor. Very disappointed. Maybe some of their other dishes are better than what I had today. The service was very good though and the restaurant has a nice environment and looked clean.

Had a decent dinner once, and thought i'd try a lunch special that seemed the same price, and smaller than dinner. Lunch was barely warm leftovers, and sesame chicken old as well, and cold. could have had a great lunch anywhere for $11.

I enjoy there food but I have now had 3 instances where I make the 20 minute drive to the area to specifically eat there and they are closed during normal business hours with a sign in the door explaining why they are closed, this time it said they would be closed for 2 weeks. I am not giving them a 1 star review but it is frustrating when a place is regularly closed during normal operating hours.

I’ll go back again maybe try different dishes and hopefully I can give them a better rating next time.

I love the service my vegetarian plate was ok, but I felt bloated afterwards that's why the low stars not sure what they cook with but I'm hurting and so is my husband. I'm bummed out close to home too..

I've eaten here four times now since the new owners have taken over. I do find the restaurant itself clean and organized and a very pleasant place to spend an hour, or so, having a meal.  The people there are friendly, polite and professional. The Golden Dragon couldn't be more convenient and located within a nice, comprehensive small-town shopping center. I was careful not to say "enjoying a meal." The food is fresh, likely wholesome, and always hot when it arrives at my table, directly from their woks.  But most of the food itself is not really enjoyable... The problem is that the food is not comprised of the rainbow of flavors that define Chinese cooking. I'm speaking of their main courses; the soups are great, as are their egg rolls and various side dishes that I've tried were all great.  But their main courses all taste alike -- as if they have spent all day in a crock pot -- or only one flavor comes through. For example, my last meal there was their hot garlic chicken. I tasted NO garlic, only the lovely bite of ginger -- just ginger; no other flavor came through. Typically when dining in Chinese restaurants I have always enjoyed an explosion of flavor from a variety of sources with each forkful. (Yeah, still struggling with chopsticks after so many years.)  I realize that I sound as if I'm a professional food reviewer -- I'm not. I really had not appreciated the way that you do get a blast of flavor from all the various ingredients.  It was only the absence of individual and distinct flavors that made me aware of that particular quality.  I returned a second and third time to Golden Dragon still trying to decipher my reaction. First time here. They had forgotten that they took our order. So it took almost an hour to get the food. We sat with empty water cups for a loooong time. The food wasnt bad, just terrible service. Normally you can explain this type of service with a busy night but they were only at maybe 25-30% capacity.

This is the SECOND TIME after having a to go order picked up, they have taken it upon themselves to add a pretty generous tip to the credit card bill, but I only noticed after looking at my account. So I'm not sure how many times it's actually happened. Either way, This. Is. Stealing! Actual theft from customers who CHOOSE this place of business and are already paying ridiculous prices for the food. What respectable business operates this way?! Make sure you fill out the tip line on your receipt, otherwise you'll be paying whatever they feel like. Gross behavior.

The chicken was very very hard and dry. The sweet and sour pork was very bland. The pork was dry. Noodles were greasy. It was not a good experience and I will never eat there again!

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. The hot and sour soup was so sweet we had to throw away. The moo shu pork was so overly cooked we had to throw away. The pork fried rice taste like super market frozen rice had to throw away. The mongolian beef had no flavor had to throw away. Spent $35.00 on throw away food!

Went to dinner tonight with the family. Waited 25 minutes to order, the waitress walked away in the middle of ordering. Had to track down someone else to order the egg rolls after we tried to order them from the original waitress. After we were advised that we could get the lunch special but it was a $1 more at dinner by one person (we have done this before for a $1 too) ordered it and was told it was $2 more and it just changed because everything is expensive. We agreed to get it at the $2 more. Then we sat there for over a half hour while every table got their food before us (two tables who came in well after) then the food finally comes out, after 8 pm at this point. It was not as good as it has been in the past. It was overall a very disappointing experience.

Really not impressed. The first time I ordered their food it was very plain, the fried rice looked like basic white rice with some soy. The orange chicken was huge breaded chunks, some a bit undercooked and lacking any orange flavor. Their hot and sour soup and egg flower soup both tasted funny, real sweet not traditional at all and not good in my opinion. No one would eat them. The second time I ordered egg foo young ... It was the weirdest egg foo I ever saw. 3 small BURNT fist sized patties, no discernable egg or sprouts. Someone actually thought it was ok to serve it like that? I feel that They cut corners and don't care about their food. Makes me wonder what that kitchen looks like. There won't be a third time for me.

Wow. The food was good and price was reasonable but the woman who served my toddler and I made it VERY apparent that she had a problem with us. She asked others if they wanted more drinks, anything else, boxes, and said Thank you Good Bye cheerfully to them. I got a half glass of Sprite to start and finally had to wave her down for another. She rudely set another half glass in front of me and walked away without a word. There were no pleasantries, no conversation at all. She did not thank me when I paid my bill and did not tell me good bye like she did every other customer. I have no idea what her problem.was but I am new to town. I eat chinese 2 or 3 times a week. It will never be there again!

Not impressed with this place. First the server 'tossed' the menu at me. Didn't bring soup before food. Didn't ask my choices either.. what kind of soup or steemed or fried rice... I guess I get what I get..can I get a barf bag... And food if that is what to call it was extremely shiny. Greesy. Didn't taste like anything edible. Soup very sweet. I never saw lady after she dropped my food off...

I use to love coming here but lately it just hasn't been the same I gave it two shots this week to to make sure it's been consistent and unfortunately it was The first day I ordered lemon chicken (my favorite) and what I got back was a yellow bitter soup completed with a brown lemon definitely left overs. Today I orderd orange chicken and what I got back was rock hard chicken complete with old cold noodles sadly I won't be coming here again

Absolutely ,hands down the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I ordered the beef and broccilli, I love chinese food and like to try newvplaces but, it was the first time I didn't take my left overs home.
