Sarku Japan Jamaica Reviews
Today I had the privilege of enjoying an exceptional meal. Each bite was an explosion of flavors, perfectly balanced, where salty, sweet and sour came together harmoniously. The atmosphere of the place, warm and welcoming, added to the enjoyment, making me feel at home. The attentive and friendly service added a personal touch to the experience. I not only fed my body, but also my soul. Without a doubt, a gastronomic experience that I will not forget. 🤩
Sarku Japan Restaurant has delicious food Tasty Teriyaki Chicken with bok-choi fresh broccoli and steamed white rice. I comes with slot for your teriyaki sauce.
So this is what the old Wendy's has become. It's nice to see one close by as opposed to having to go to the one in Queens Center. Only criticism of this place is that it's relatively small but other than that, the place is cleaned up a lot better than it ever has been when it was Wendy's since the 90s. I won't complain about price point because inflation has become a sad norm now but other than that, you get your money's worth because what I ate was very filling. I didn't think the chicken and shrimp teriyaki I had would be enough so I got some dumplings as well. (Another small criticism, I prefer my dumplings steamed than fried but I digress) I felt a bit bloated after eating all that but it definitely hit the spot. Tastewise it is pretty good and a perfect balance of sauce, not too much and not very little. Service is also top notch here too, very responsive and courteous cashiers along with a sooner than usual waiting time. I'd recommend this place.
This Food was extremely good, i didn't even have time to take a picture of the full plate. 10/10 would recommend. Service is very nice and the place is spotless. Great music in the restaurant too.
Nice to see this place has replaced the decades old Wendys. There is a decent amount of seating. The staff is nice as I asked if they supported the Sarku Japan app but doesn't seem like it yet. Hopefully in the future. I got the shrimp / chicken combo. It did take awhile. Flavor of the chicken / shrimp was good as well as the veggies. Probably the best out of the other nearby chicken teriyaki spot. Their teriyaki sauce is great I wish I got more. The rice was pretty dry though.
Sushi was about average, served not warm. But it's still pretty nice that this joint opened in Jamaica. Asian food is underrated here! Anyways, they can improve on freshness.
Since this restaurant replaced Wendy’s. I have been in here a few times for a few meals. Always clean, cashiers are very polite. Food is always delicious. My favorite is the dumplings. It’s great that I can come here to get a meal instead of traveling to the Sakura Japan on Queens Blvd @ the QC Mall. Highly recommend and prices are great as well.

I recently visited Sarku Japan, and I was really impressed! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The chicken teriyaki was tender and perfectly cooked, and the portions were generous for the price. The staff was friendly and fast, even during a busy time. The place was clean and the service felt very organized. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended if you want delicious Japanese-style meals at a good price!😋
The teriyaki chicken and shrimp dish was absolutely outstanding. The chicken was tender and juicy, absorbing the teriyaki glaze so well that every bite delivered a perfect balance of sweet and savory
The food is good and little expensive for a chicken teriyaki is $10.99 plus taxes but there sushi rolls is really cheap the Cali roll lovers $6.99 and the price really range and the Bento box are from $12.99 to $13.99. For take out is easy you can place the order and come pick it up yourself or delivery to you. You dine in too if you want too. 155-33 Jamaica ave, Jamaica NY 11434

Before work, I had time to grab a bite to eat and was interested in a new spot. I finally had time to check out Sarku, and I am glad I did. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with white rice and beef along with a chicken egg roll and Red Bull Roll. Everything tasted really good, and I especially love the spicy taste from the Red Bull Roll. Their spring rolls are also a good side to have as well, but I would still choose the Red Bull Roll just because I'm a fan of spicy food. Now the place itself was very nice and clean, but where I take points off is not necessarily their fault. Jamaica Ave is a hub for people coming and going to work and school, so unfortunately, in settings like these, you do deal with a lot of young kids. It was a little hard for me to watch my show in peace even with headphones in because the kids were a little loud. Other than though, this place is a perfect spot if you wanna grab something to eat. If I get time again, I would definitely eat here again.
Great location and friendly staff! However, the dining tables were quite dirty, and the prices were somewhat high.

Food and service are good. However, wondering why they don't participate in the specials that get emailed to me?

The chicken was good but the rice wasn’t that satisfying. Could be because it was an hour before closing
Been here two times, the first two pics are the first time and one plate has less chicken than the other. Second time is the other two pics and the same thing, one plate has less chicken than the other. When you order 1 you get a good portion but I notice when you order 2 they purposely put one with less chicken. The taste is really good but for the price that we are paying they should give a good portion of chicken for every plate.
I asked for shrimp and chicken over fried rice & dumplings & paid for That & only got chicken. Next time a customer asks for Something & they pay for it they should Get what they asked for ! However the food is good… lady giving the food is rude !

It was fine. Portions are smaller and more expensive than other chicken teriyaki spots in Brooklyn/Queens
The food is delicious as always, but it took 20 minutes for them to give me my order. I assumed it was because they were making it fresh, but a worker came out from behind the counter and asked if I was waiting for something. They actually forgot about my order. It couldn't have been because of the guests. There were only three in the store at the time I placed my order.
I ordered the chicken and shrimp teriyaki withe noodles and a mango madness snapped. The meal was delivered minus the drink and it doesn't matter how much i called to let rhen know...no one answered. Seven left a message with no response forthcoming. I need a refund of the $3.29 to my original payment method. This is the only time I'm disappointed with the service. Other times the service is impeccable.
