Yah Suh Nyce Jamaica Reviews
The jerk salmon was on point perfectly cooked, flavorful, and not dry at all. It had that real jerk kick with just the right amount of spice, and you could tell it was seasoned properly all the way through. Definitely one of the best jerk salmon dishes I’ve had from a buffet spot. The curry shrimp was just as good. The sauce was rich, savory, and full of flavor, and the shrimp were tender and well-seasoned. Not overcooked or bland like some places. You can tell the food is made with care, not rushed. For a 24-hour Jamaican buffet in Queens, this place really delivers. Great flavors, solid portions, and food that actually tastes fresh. I’ll definitely be back.

Food was good, worth the price. Young girls making a living! I love it!
The besttttttt Jamaican food you can find in NY , ,the food and customer service is a 10/10 especially the ackee and shrimp, it’s my first time coming here and I will be coming back soon.
best spot ever! came straight here after my flight
Ordered a medium Oxtail, rice & peas & macaroni salad at around 2AM on DoorDash. Not gonna lie, I was a bit worried about the quality of food at first being that it was so late. Those were some of the best Oxtails I’ve had in a while! The flavor was so rich. The macaroni salad was also good but a bit watery for my liking. I’d definitely order again. Also interested in trying other items on the menu.
It’s open 24 hours. Solid Jamaican food. Their jerk chicken is top notch but sometimes they run out. It’s a little pricey but not too bad given the fact that it’s buffet style. Brought a girl here from South London and she said the food here reminded her of back home. If you know, you know.
Highly recommend! My sister and I came here, hoping to get a good Jamaican breakfast and that’s exactly what we received. So much variety and the staff was friendly and helpful. I felt like I was back home in Jamaica! Prices were also very reasonable for the portions.

I love this place. I live in the area and I come here often. They are now 24 hours and have a variety of buffet style options including jerk chicken straight off the grill. They even have a juice bar in the rear. The owner and the staff are friendly and very helpful and they do a good job at keeping the place clean and stocked. Very nice spot especially for late night grub.
The Baked and barbecue chicken were great, they were cooked perfectly and tasted good.
Food was ok. I got the Jerk chicken, shrimp pasta, steamed vegetable, some oxtails on the side and a drink. The Jerk chicken was overcooked and tasted burnt. They do grill it outside. I didn’t get much of the seasoning to proclaim its authentic jerk chicken. It was super disappointing due to the fact that’s what I like the most and was looking forward to the most. However, the guy at the cashier was very nice & helpful. The place is clean. You serve yourself and it’s by the pound. It was dead in there. Very empty but food is 7.5/10. I would go back there again for something quick.
My husband & I stopped here for breakfast. They charge by the choice of meat you have in your meal. I had 2 boiled bananas, about 6 fried shrimp, & a scoop of ackee and saltfish. My meal tasted good but it was $16.49. My had a mix of different food that he said didn't taste of much seasoning. He had 2 boiled yam, 4 tiny pieces of oxtail, chili shrimp, 2 boiled bananas for $29.08! I do not recommend this place.
My friend and I got food from here today, their pricing is a bit much for the food and quality is ok. Unfortunately today in the stew chicken I went to take a bite and saw the wrapper of a Maggie seasoning cube, not a peice but the whole thing. I could've choked on that or another person or child. I won't be buying again.

First all went there 2 weeks go didn’t see anyone and food was unattended, last week I give them a try again and bought only shrimp, pricing was good. Today I bought steam cabbage and pasta and chicken wings plus like 5 shrimp. The lady busy on the dam phone no manners. My meal came up $27.16… she charged me $12.99lb and say shrimp meal. I am so pissed. Why not chicken meal? I was over priced. I have pictures
I went here on 04-16-24 & just got two pieces of chicken and like 5 pieces of shrimp, no more! The lady at the cashier charged me $15 & I was too stunned to speak , like literally. I took the L and paid. However, I believe this food was not worth $15 whatsoever and I was robbed. Mind you the cashier wasn’t the lady that I usually interact with so I’m unsure where she got her price from. I know that plate did not weigh up to $15 with inflation or not. If you’re going here keep in mind depending on who cashes you out, you may be charged more than the food is actually worth. I’ve been going here for awhile, but I no longer will be supporting. Also, the food is a hit or miss, I could’ve definitely purchased a plate with protein and two sides elsewhere for that price. !BEWARE!
GARBAGE UGHH!!!! FOOD TASTES LIKE IT'S BEEN PUT IN THE FRIDGE AND REHEATED. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! COULD NOT FINISH MY PLATE AND VERY EXPENSIVE FOR TRASH FOOD. CUSTOMER SERVICE NO GOOD EITHER.
So unfortunately, I found a piece of Brillo pad in my rice. It’s huge like I can’t believe how big of the piece below pad is I feel like a lot of restaurants need the Brillo pad is old and easy thrown away because this is so dangerous if I wasn’t like not pay attention, I adjusted it and I would’ve stopped. I’m not finishing my food and I’m grossed out and I don’t recommend ordering here because it might be a Brillo pad and your food too. So be careful.

I bought two small plates of food that cost almost $40 yesterday Sunday because I was tired for my Sunday dinner after 8pm and since last night until now both plates of food with different things in it has us running to the bathroom. It's 12 :45 the next day and still running. I don't want my money back just want this place to be close down. Mind you even if you take couple pieces of those dry nasty shrimp with other meat the still charge $11.99 per pound. White rice is half cook. All meat is dried out. But you paying for taxes plus charges for card Highway robbery. Who else got sick?
The same person cooking the food be doing cashier that's why u have to wait so long

If you want overpriced salty food, this is the place for you. I don’t normally post reviews but this place really has audacity. To serve people rotten chicken, dry salmon, and treat you like they are doing charity. They will never see another penny from me. It wasn’t this bad a year ago, they def fell off.
Such a nasty overpriced place, they should be SHUT DOWN. The nerve of them wanting you to put on gloves before self service of their food by the pound. Giving the indication that food and service is up to par, nope... Rice & Beans, Sweet Plantains and Salmon was $25, the embarrassment to say F it and walk out will get you. Now that I write this review I think the lady know the folks from the neighbourhood and those she don't she make up a freakn price. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT... GO IN LOOK AROUND AND WALK OUT... get "full" off the jerk smoke they hype up, outside as if it's a real respectable place or better yet, it's best to get a hot sandwich from the deli or something. Cheaper and done right. Thank me later
