Daylight Donuts

They were super busy since it was before school on a Friday, but I still got in and out in 15 minutes, and I ordered 3 dozen mixed/assorted donuts. The ladies were really nice, and very helpful. It was also reasonably priced, which was nice because I was ordering so much.

I like this small shop. Early morning the apple fritter was warm and delicious! I wish I'd purchased two. Going south on I-35 the shop is a quick exit, a short stop then a fast entrance back on I-35. No back and forth on an access road and no Texas turnarounds.

Loved these fresh donuts. It was worth the 5:30 am donut run. Maple donut and croissant breakfast sandwiches were super delicious. No photo. Was to busy enjoying my food I forgot to take a pic.

The Ham, Egg and cheese croissant is absolutely delicious! It was so hot and fresh. The donuts were hot and fresh also. Nothing compared to what it used to be! Please go give them a try.

Great Donuts made fresh Daily. My kids love there different variety of donuts. They just can't get enough. This is my favorite breakfast stop destination. It's a must-have everyday of the week.

This place is a really quick and easy donut and breakfast shop. I usually will pick up some fresh sweet treat and a few kolaches. There are even more choices and different coffees served as well.

I don't get the donuts at Daylight but only because I rarely eat donuts. So I can't speak on them - BUT - the apple fritter here at Daylight - BETTER than Round Rock Donuts. If anyone from RRD is reading this, shhhhh :D My favorite item from Daylight - the Bear Claw. CHEFS. KISS. The boudin kolaches and the sausage croissant (not the sandwich, the sausage link wrapped in a croissant, like a giant juicy pig in a croissant-y blanket - yum yum. The staff is friendly, and I like watching them make donuts in the back! I will say this - if you pay with a credit or debit card - there is an upcharge that they don't disclose. It's not much, like a dollar and some change more. I think the last time I went, she said the total was 21 and change and when it posted to my bank account it was 22 and change that was charged. Some people might take issue with that, so heads up. Me, I just want my bear claw and I'm happy lol

My husband and I came around 10AM Monday morning. Friendly service, great food, and decent pricing. The boudin kolache is the best! My only feedback to provide: the doors to the bathroom are hard to open, and the decor/walls could have a little more TLC. Definitely recommend!

I stop here every morning on my way to work. The food is always good and consistent. I usually get a breakfast taco, or a breakfast croissant and they are really good. The old fashioned plane cake doughnuts are awesome too! I take them home and put them in the air fryer for 5 minutes on 400deg, and put powdered sugar on them, and they taste just like a funnel cake! Perfect night snack!

Great customer service at this location. I called in an almost $200 for my husband’s coworkers and they executed the order perfectly, in less than 30 mins time. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. I tried an egg and cheese croissant and it was beyond amazing! We also ordered 3 dozen donuts and 3 dozen kolaches, all of which were fresh and delicious. I’m so glad to have this donut shop in Jarrell Texas.

Donuts were good! Kolache and iced coffee were pretty bad :( Kolache was very dry and the ham and cheese were kind of stuck to the side instead of inside. I was really hoping they would have some amazing coffee since there is no coffee shop in Jarrell, but their iced coffee is way too sugary sweet and pre-mixed. However, they have very good service and good donuts :)

They were really nice here and I really like the idea of a drive up donut and coffee shop. The coffee was good but the donuts I got were cold.

Friendly people. I would have liked a donut that is full of filling. There donuts are skimpy on the filling. The sausage rolls are small as well. Flavor wise is great.

Very friendly staff and the donuts are nice and thick, my coworkers love them! Buuuut I order 2 jalapeño cheese Kolache‘s for my husband. He bit into one and there was NO meat in it. He bit into the other one with that one NOT having meat either. Like really?! We love the food but we will go to the other one instead of this one if they can’t get it right.

Donuts and kolaches were just fine. Complaint is that my order was 24 and some change but I was charged nearly 26. I should have requested a receipt as others mentioned but I didn't read reviews ahead of time. I did ask the lady and she said it was because I used a card to pay. I told her there was no sign stating this and she said she had taken it down. I let it go because I just didn't want to argue this morning. Lesson learned. So heads-up, ask for a receipt or pay with cash.

The girl that was running the counter, shee was nice, no complaints on that part. My issue really is the quality of items, availability of options & pricing. It's very convenient as far as location, so that is sad but probably won't be returning.

Great place for donuts unless you are there around when they open. They open at 5am and have NOTHING ready. It makes no sence to open at that time if you cannot have anything ready. A 7 hour window of time being open and the 1st hour nothing is prepared, is an interesting business model.

I thought the food was okay for about 9:00 in the morning I was very surprised to see they had no fresh kolaches and they still needed to microwave it. I spent more than $10 and was forced to pay more because I used a credit card without being told anything or seeing any signs for it. At that rate it becomes cost prohibitive to support for average food that may not be fresh

I wish I could give this place zero stars they tried to over charge me for my order but quickly changed the price when I asked for a receipt!! The doughnuts were cold and hard just down right nasty in my opinion I literally have what I bought still sitting on the counter because even the dog won’t eat them!! I’ll definitely make the extra ten mile drive to shipleys to get them from this day forward never will I spend a dime here

Well, someone told me that they had the same experience after I told them about my bad experience, so that's 3 new customers that they lost on a 1st visit. An overall not so good experience on the 1st visit means I will not be back. Thanks anyway

I got 2 drinks and 4 donuts and my total came out to $9.84 and I got a notification from my bank saying I was charged $12.32. I’ve never been to a place where they decided to tip themselves.

Most awful experience here this morning 1st I'm already running late and the young girl at the window decides it's a good idea to serve me cold coffee,, then I'm driving to work and almost broke my tooth on something hard inside the kolache!!!!!!!! Never again will I ever eat here absolutely disgusting

I have been here 4 times in the morning on my way to work to get donuts for my team. Not once have they had just regular glazed or chocolate donuts ready. Sitting In the drive through lane, I watched 4 people park, walk in, and leave before I moved up a spot in the drive through.

Used to go everyday on the way to work. But with the new owner service has gone down hill. Staff is nice enough but can't seam to get my order right. Don't know how messing up my order is ok because they can take a cc for one donought. I had to wait in line twice because you messed up. Good to know you don't value my time or patronage.
