Always forgets the ice cream with the kids meal. Starting to wonder if they hope people wont mention to save money. Food is Usually ok, found long blonde hair in the fries.

This DQ has been pretty consistent with food quality and order accuracy. Unfortunately today wasn’t one of those days.. mistakes happen and it’s expected to flub an order here and there, however, we ordered a chicken sandwich and a kids meal. We had to pull forward to wait for the food. When the employee brought our food she said “here’s the chicken sandwich combo”, but there was no chicken sandwich. It was a burger and someone else’s order. And the other half of our order was missing. Had to go inside to remedy the situation. When we got everything straightened out, the chicken sandwich was so wet and soggy I ended up eating just the grilled chicken patty off the sandwich. All in all, not a wonderful experience, except for the employee who helped to resolve the order mishap.

Stopped to get a ice cream…waited on as soon as I walked in…waited 12 minutes for a vanilla cone. Plenty of people working…apparently the dude working the counter cannot walk two steps and fill a cone, turns out waiting for an employee to return from restroom to do my cone.

There is an ice machine IN the dining room that started roaring as soon as I got my food and continued as long as I was there. It's frightening at first and then just very loud and irritating! Staff is used to it, and so they ignore it. Don't expect to be able to have a conversation with your companion or friend!

I ordered a Cheesecake blizzard with EXTRA cheesecake and received it with one singular chunk of cheesecake in it. This has happened twice now, and I’m not very happy about my very overpriced cup of vanilla ice cream when I paid for extra cheesecake. Will not getting ice cream here anymore.

This was the second visit in 2 weeks, I hoped the staff would have gotten better at their job, but I was let down once again. Last week the girl delivering my food to my car stated " we gave your food to someone else, sorry". Hoping to not wait for 20 minutes while they remade my meal, like the last time, I proceed to try them again. And was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail. They messed up yesterday again with not having the correct amount of items I requested and paid for. I will not be ordering again.

Another veteran and I have been regulars for months. The place has its quirks, but generally, we liked it. Recently, we were earlier than usual and our "10% military discount" seemed to be calculated incorrectly - I think it was about 50 cents on about $19 purchase. Clerk asks manager who calls someone who says simply, "It's correct." Not wanting to make a fuss, knowing they have high turnover, and thinking maybe it was just something about our arrival during "Happy Hour," we let it go (tho, ironically, we weren't "Happy" - especially with the lack of explanation.) Went back yesterday at our usual time (after Happy Hour). Similar thing - except we were told the "10% discount" is now only on one item. Yesterday, we spent probably half as much as we normally would and now we won't be back nearly as often. (What a change to implement right before Veterans Day, too! Wow.) This location will now save money by the reduced discounts - and they won't lose ALL our business - but they'll lose a lot of regular business from two loyal veterans who had been buying enough - several times each week - to spend $19 during Happy Hour.

I ordered a buffalo chicken basket combo with a coke and a medium chocolate chip cookie dough Blizzard thru the drive thru. Not a complex order, so you think they would get it right. There were a few cars ahead of me, and a few behind me, so when I pulled up to the drive thru window, I asked the young lady if she could repeat my order. I wanted to make sure that they weren’t going to mess up my order this time, since they messed up my order the last time I ordered something thru the drive thru. I also asked the young lady if she could tell me what drink I ordered, and with a rude demeanor, she looked at me and said; “you ordered a Coke”, and then she shut the window. I looked over at my wife and asked her if she saw how rude the young lady was, and my wife told me that this is why she doesn’t like going to this particular Dairy Queen location. After a few minute wait, the drive thru window opened up, and I was about to be handed the box that contained my meal. When I looked at the box, it had red buffalo sauce streaks on both sides of the outside of the box. I asked the young man who was handing me the box if he could put it in a bag, because I didn’t want the sauce on the outside of the box getting onto my clothes. He put it in a bag and gave me my drink and my Blizzard. As I was driving off, I took a sip of my Coke, and almost spit it out, because I was given tea. I hate tea, so I turned around and went inside to get the Coke that I ordered. When I was handed my Coke, I was also handed my credit card that the drive thru attendant forgot to give me. I told the person that handed me my Coke that this experience was the worst experience I’ve had at a Dairy Queen. He explained to me that the person at the drive thru is new, and apologized. When I got home to finally enjoy my $19 meal, the chicken was cold and soggy, and fries were nasty, so I threw it in the trash. I was so excited when I first found out that we were getting a Dairy Queen in Jarrell, because I’ve always enjoyed the food, and quality of service I’ve received for other Dairy Queen locations. It’s sad how far this location has slipped. I will never visit this location again. I would rather drive to Georgetown and eat at a location that actually takes time to get things right, and always seems to take pride in the quality of food and service they give you.

Disappointing Experience at Dairy Queen: A Respectful Review Introduction: I recently visited Dairy Queen with my son and family, which is a special treat for us as we cannot afford to go often. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed and cheated by the quality of the food we received. In this review, I would like to express my disappointment respectfully and provide details about the cold, old food and abhorrent gravy that we encountered during our visit. Food Quality: Upon receiving our order of chicken strip baskets, it was immediately apparent that something was amiss. The food appeared old and cold, lacking the freshness one would expect from a reputable establishment like Dairy Queen. The chicken strips were dry and lacked the crispy texture that makes them enjoyable. This not only affected the taste but also made them unappetizing. The Gravy: One of the most disappointing aspects of our visit was the gravy that accompanied the chicken strips. It was truly abhorrent in both appearance and taste. The gravy looked unappealing, with an odd texture and an unpleasant color. Upon tasting it, we found it to be overly salty and lacking any depth of flavor. It was clear that little effort had been put into preparing this essential component of the meal. Visual Evidence: To support my claims, I have attached a picture showcasing the unappetizing appearance of the food we received. The image clearly depicts the unsightly gravy. Conclusion: As someone who values their occasional visits to Dairy Queen as a special treat for my family, I must express my disappointment with the recent experience. The cold, old food and abhorrent gravy were far from what we expected from such a renowned establishment. I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for Dairy Queen to improve their food quality and ensure customer satisfaction in the future.

This grilled chicken salad costs $9.49. There was very little chicken and cheese. Mayfield Dairy Queen in Georgetown is much better and it's cheaper at $7.99.
