We always go early, around 5PM, the food is very good, especially Prim Rib, and Pork Tenderloin. The French Fries are the best, and Garlic Mashed good as well. Fresh Veggys not frozen, Salad is always nice mix of fresh greens. Salad dressing good as well. Ask for Blue Cheese crumbles, Yum. Moderately Price, Service usually very good

Cannot state how awesome this place is. Being living up here 4 years before I first went there and once I went we pretty much went back every week for the wings. Saddie is an awesome bartender, crowd is local, prime rib is amazing. Whenever I am back east I will be making a trip back here.

Zach was an absolutely wonderful bartender and a great server. He made a very friendly connection with me and other people who have attended. I have had the Chicken Marsala and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend going to the Heartbreak Hotel. Nice and cozy all the way around.

What a fantastic time. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary together at the heartbreak hotel in Jefferson ny and the food was better than delicious. The server was so attentive and knowledgeable about the food we can't stop raving about it. If you are ever in the area and want a fantastic experience, stop there. Looks are definitely deceiving. The restaurant also has a long history. Thank you for a very memorable anniversary.

We've been coming here for years and have never had not even a tiny issue; consistently good food and great service. The bartenders and wait staff always make you feel welcome.

You know, every once in a while, you come across a place that's willing to make a plate of wings that will literally put a certain percentage of people in the hospital. Rarer still is the kind of place that doesn't even place the challenge on the menu. Their menu lists mild thru hot, maybe a couple of other options, but there's no mention of infernos, WMD's, kaiju, or any version of the apocalypse. Just mild, medium and hot. But if you tell the server "I want my soul to leave my body at least a dozen times tonight," something will click in the cook's mind like in The Manchurian Candidate, and that cook will absolutely _desecrate_ your wings with what I'm assuming is pure dried and powdered hatred. I opened the box as soon as I was in the car, and my eyes involuntarily crossed from the aroma. I had a few in the car, and I'm not kidding, I don't remember anything after East End Garage. I had a line of about 6 cars behind me by the time I got into Stamford, all of which zoomed past, doubtless trying to get away from the fumes, as soon as I wobbled into the Stewart's. I'll tell you what, I had to walk away from the table a few times on this order. Just get up and mosey around collecting my thoughts. I got through it, but I don't believe I made it look easy.

My girlfriend and I were in town for a weekend getaway and the AirBnB we stayed at had listed Heartbreak Hotel as a local recommended spot. We each ordered an entree as take out (chicken parm, and chicken marsala). The food was excellent, and the portions were amazing. We each got two meals out of one dinner. The place looked really cool, if we are back we definitely would want to sit down and eat to fully take in the atmosphere. The service was great; very speedy and extremely friendly.

We enjoyed our dinner. Inside the Heartbreak you'll find a clean, non pretentious atmosphere. Our server was quite pleasant and helpful. Service was quick, and the food was well prepared. We're looking forward to our next visit.

If you love good staff, and even better food then this is the place I would tell you that your life isn’t complete without a visit.

Atmosphere is casual, with quiet dining on the left, conversational/family dining in the middle, and jovial bar dining on the right. Parking always LOOKS full, but there's always room to spare, so never be discouraged by the number of cars out front. Remember, there's plenty of room inside, and they're always happy to see you.

Closed Saturday night at 8 pm.. have had dinner there in the past, some of the best prime rib and steak, absolutely the best. The atmosphere is another story place is dingy dirty complete with a local dive bar attached... avoid the bathroom is all I can say....but definitely worth the trip

Food was great. I had a Utica club draft...which was served at 30 degrees. IOW perfect. We ate there at around 5 on a friday...lots of families with kids. Which was interesting given the colorful and loud political/current events debate at bar between two of the local gentry. I am not in the area much...but when I am I will stop at the hh.

If you are in the mood for some real good eating then this is the spot the prime rib is excellent cooked to perfection the taste is incredible when we go i always get it.the mashed potatoes are excellent always a great meal my girlfriend usually gets the different seafood specials and those too are also always excellent the wings are perfect this is def a go to spot. We haven't been there since the remodel but hope to soon.if you are in the market for a good meal don't pass this place up and all the prices are really good

Don't get to go here often. Made a special trip for the bacon wrapped steak with the blue cheese butter, however we were disappointed to be told they didn't have.

I went there on a Wednesday for there special, Meatloaf with mashed potatoes with gravy. While it was good, it wasn't enough for me it was to small of an order, I even had a appetizer of fried scallops. I ordered dessert I think it was called a chocolate bomb, which was good. If you want something to fill you up the meatloaf is not it. Order something else.

Doesn't serve food after 9pm. Pretty much told us kitchen was closed and walked away.

If your a young adult traveling I don’t recommend this place. Walk in after a long day just wanting a bite to eat get ignored bartenders/waitresses saw me multiple times. Atmosphere was bad, felt uncomfortable just left after a while.

The worst steak I have ever had at a restaurant! The steak was cooked medium rare like I asked but the quality of meat was horrible! The steak knife had a hard time cutting through the steak. Me & my buddy ordered ribeyes & both if them were terrible!!!
