Great place to have fun
Great place to ahave a beer and wings
Excellent atmosphere. Great music. Great staff. But most of all delicious food!!
Great atmosphere. Beer is good and love those tall yards of beer that look more like a yard and a half. They have a great jukebox and TV's all over with sports.
So we got the one thats just the room for you, separated from the others. There you could put your own music, a TV for you and the people your with and a pool table. If your going in a group you should get it its pretty cool.
Very large venue offering pool (of course), sports on tv (many screens throughout), and tables for dining. They limit visits to 2 hours. You must buy food with your beer. The staff is friendly. The bathrooms are clean and well kept up. Prices are good. The pool tables are in great shape and they have alternating tables closed to maintain Covid distancing protocol. There is also an outside seating area. We love to spend time there. The food we have tried has been very good.
It's da bomb great food atmosphere great service beautiful women and plenty of pool tables. Always have a good time every time I go👍👍👍👍
Food is as expected in places like these, which is a bit above average. Pool is pool like just like everywhere else, except here where that's kind of the main thing here. Also, the cost is by the hour in case your used to something different. The TVs usually will only play futbol soccer if Mexico is playing, it's an important or major cup, or both. Otherwise yes you'll be able to watch March Madness or the World Series here, even the NFL too. The beer selection is actually decent and if you're with a group of friends then get the Torre. Or 4. Remember that if you want a Michelada, you'll want to ask for a Cubano (plus your preferred beer), because that's what they are here. The location is pretty good, and in the middle of such places of interest around here. Staff are friendly and helpful. But even with that being said, when around alcohol try to keep a running inventory on what you've had and have not had as well as on your receipts. Most importantly, cash is king and go to a bank or ATM before heading out for the day/night.
This place is a good sports bar. I really didn’t like the fact that the food that we ordered was brought to the table one plate at a-time. We all ate our food at different times. The wait time was more than two hours. The waiter was rude, she call a person in the table a drunk. How is it possible that the waiter could be so unprofessional her name was Lesley.
I love the billiards but the music is really not that good and some times the beer tastes watered. The wings are just the best
Although is a famous hang out space in northern Ciudad Juárez; the food was pretty disappointing. The bun from the burger I ordered tasted like vainilla air freshener and the beer from the yard had a soapy after taste. I’m not sure if there was a jukebox, but the songs played were interrupted by next one in the middle. Everything else seemed to be ok: Pool tables, seating areas, large screens.
Good place to play pool and have some good food and beer prices are moderate and staff is friendly , on the down side it appers the only music genre they now is reageton cause 90% of the time thats the only music they will be playing
Pockets can be a good or bad place, depending on what you are looking for. If you are looking for great food, look elsewhere. I've had their burgers and wings and I was not impressed. The music (on weekends) is usually very loud so forget conversations. Pockets is a place to play pool, listen to loud music and drink beer. Great place to cool off during the summer. For me it's a three star place.
Nachos are good, the wings are not too good, the carne seca preparada needed more salt, the onion rings were good but the marinara was not. However, what I disliked about this place was the music. It killed the whole vibe. They put pause and play like every 30 seconds to different songs from wildly different generes, really off putting; imagine highway to hell playing for 10 seconds- then pause - absolute silence for like 3 seconds then a song by Cartel de Santa or Pesado. Also the volume changes at random - so you can be having a conversation and then suddenly not hear anything anymore. They need to get it together honestly.
It's a great place to drink and play pool. The service was horrible, We waited 15 mins to be greeted, another 15 to get our drinks, 30 to place an hour and 20 to get the food and they weren't even that busy. The music....do not expect to have a conversation.
