What you see is what you get... Damn good shakes for the ride up/down 395! Any place that has a door that can stop a bear, a shotgun blast, a car - ha, probably a snowplow too! - get 5-stars just on principle! Fantastic Shakes - stop and get one!
Here's what you need to know: Great location, just off the highway, to stop for a pit-stop. Nice selection of snacks, drinks, basic groceries, and souvenirs. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. They even have a antique fire truck on display. Wish we could have spent more time here in the area, but we were just passing through. Next time, we'll definately get a milkshake!
Fine rest by the highway. Beautiful views.. Cozy cafe, simple snacks, with some basic groceries and souvenir shop. Friendly staff is pleasantly helpfull. But... their "Real-milkshakes and organic espresso" is simply a must. Very good! The gas-station is obviously pretty pricey.
They were not lying. Handsdown, the best milkshake I’ve tried (i don’t even like milkshakes). The consistency is perfect - thick but still able to go through a regular sized straw. What is this magic???
You walk in and you have your doubts, because it looks like a gas station convenience store, but they have the professional Vitamix blenders and they set you up with one of the best milkshakes I have ever tried. Gigantic scoops of ice cream and just enough milk to make it blend. Perfect and delicious, a must stop if you are in the area .
It's a usual pitstop to grab snacks and other merchandise, nice employees, but the MILKSHAKES are to die for! Best shakes I've had in years!!! 🤪
De passage, nous avions vu les avis sur les milk-shakes. Et il est vrai qu’ils sont délicieux ! 🤤 Le sandwich était pas mal également. La supérette à presque tous le nécessaire pour un ravitaillement en bord de route 👍

Little 'hidden' gem : real good shakes, especially the pecan butter one. Just loving simple places like that with a good product.
Me, my brother in law, and his son got stuck here after finding out the YART bus was 12 hour in advance registration at this location. We explained our situation to the very nice young lady at the counter our situation, about trying to get back to our car in Tuolumne Meadows, and pick up a sick family member in Silver Lake. Not only did she help us out with our predicament, she call the owner of the gas station, who then came and drove us to Lee Vining in his car. We offered payment, but it was refused. I know I cannot make anyone do anything, but if you are driving through the area, please stop in and support these very kind people. It was a true blessing to see not only to meet kind folk, but ones that truly believe in community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Arrêt obligatoire pour un excellent milkshake !

Gas is cheaper here than in Lee Vining. Kind of dirty around the pumps, but the $7 milkshake made up for it. A lot of traffic through this area.

Es un gas station super viejo, compre unas galletitas como a 8 dolares y estaban vencidas, talvez para agua y para pasar al baño estaban bien! No probe los milkshakes tho

So me and my family went to this cafe. We ordered a turkey sandwich. As we ordered he asked very meanly: WITH WHAT??!!!!. We said everything, like normal. He was answering very disrespectful: yeah what do you want on there and we had to count up anything. After that he turned around and said: wasn’t so difficult. And when we asked him what he said he just answered that he was apparently talking to himself. The sandwich and 2 hot dogs were 28$.
Overpriced, extremely rude and lazy staff, dirty bathrooms, no toilet paper and no soap in bathrooms
Miserabler Service…so viel Unfreundlichkeit habe ich noch nie erlebt. Nicht zu empfehlen!
