Friendly staff, great service and delicious fast food. We had the "Carhop Classic" when we went, a cheeseburger and onion rings for $3! That's a steal. Only downside is that this location doesn't have a drive-thru.

Service was fast, food was hot! But never will I ever eat another chicken sandwich from Sonic, tasted like deep fried cardboard. Not to mention that nasty package lettuce that tastes like a chemical bar. GROSS! Whoever thought that lettuce was tasty, must be from a foreign country.

Today I went up there on my lunch break to get something to eat. I ordered my food only to realize that I didn’t have my wallet. They told me that I can download the sonic app (I did) to pay. I tried to connect the only card that I could remember and it didn’t allow me too. They ended up given me the food and that allowed me to eat. I appreciate that because it helped me to get back to work not feeling hungry.

The food is out quickly and it's still hot, making this a good place for a fast lunch. The orders are right every time from my experience. There are even tables outside if you're planning on resting a while.

Every time lve eaten here at the Justin, TX location the service has been excellent. They have gotten the orders correct and the food was actually quite good. I can't say this about all Sonics but this one runs smoothly and cares about the customers.

Only in the area for a short time and need to grab a quick bite to eat and since I know and like Sonic decided grab something here. I ordered via the app and the food was ready and delivered to me within a few minutes of arriving with very good friendly service. Food was good, but the tots were a little undercooked and everything else was cooked perfectly. I tried the new featured Spicy Steak and Bacon Grilled Cheese and will be definitely ordering again.

I cannot recommend Sonic as a good place to get a burger, simply because honestly, their burgers are pretty bland.. BUT literally anything else on the menu will absolutely satisfy you! Their Ice Cream is actually made to be a true soft serve and the drink options sre what normally pull in. This Sonics service was fantastic and I appreciate their quick and kind delivery.

The food was well made and I was satisfied. The only problem I had was that when I order my chili dog they had put it in upside down. So when I went to grab the little paper bag it comes in the chili dog slid right out and it got real messy in there.

Tonight they were in high gear. I thought it would take forever to get our food due to snowmageton. But regardless of all that we got our food at a good time. They didn't give us ketchup, so that is why the 4 stars

We just got some shakes there. Took several minutes to answer the red order button, then took almost 30 minutes to get two shakes. After the screen said someone was bringing them for a few minutes. I finally went to the door and saw the shakes had been made and we're sitting on the counter. A manager type was loading bills one by one in a safe by the door. I asked if those were our shakes and was told to wait. After a few minutes of me standing in the door watching as this person kept loading bills one by one, the poor car hop who was scrambling the whole time we were waiting, ran by and was about to go back out the door empty handed and the person feeding money told him to grab our shakes that were half melted. I assume the terrible service was due to the universal server shortage otherwise it would have been a three star review.

We love Sonic! It’s one of our favorite go-to’s for fast food. This Sonic is usually very busy because it’s the only one in the area. The service tends to be a bit slow because of that. However, we’ve always had friendly carhops. Our order has been mixed up more than once, but they’re pretty quick to fix it.

Service was very good. Took order quickly and order was delivered very quickly. Had double cheeseburger- very good Boneless Asian wings- a little stale, but good Hamburger-not bad. All in all enough to bring us back, will probably pass on the wings next time though

Ordered through the app, once we arrived it still took 15 minutes for the order to come out. Orders that were placed after we arrived were served before ours. The poor server had to inform us they were out of items we ordered and asked if we wanted substitutes or a refund. We waited another 5 minutes for the refund and my order. Then when we arrived home the order had been made incorrectly. I understand the staffing shortage so the wait is forgivable but the incorrect order is a consistent problem at this location.

The people are nice but the order is usually messed up but they usually fix it except for one time with hot fudge sundae ordered extra hot fudge send it back twice still only had about a tablespoon of hot fudge on it. it's a shame this could be a really nice Sonic they all need training from the uppers they don't need to be disciplined they need to be trained they seem like really good young men and women. this is my opinion and only my opinion

The only reason why I gave this a two star review bc I know how this Sonic truly operates. Yes I use to work there true! But it's not bc I had a bad experience working there and decide to come back with revenge with this review. No I liked my job it was easy and the managers were very understanding. I didn't like how they cooked there food. They blanch all there food. That means they half way cook it throw it under a heat vent and when a costumer orders the food they put back in the frier or grill. Double frying your food. In my personal opinion it's gross and very unhealthy. A food hazard. Food poisoning comes into my mind. Also don't drink the slush bc they don't clean the syrup bottles out. They just restock it so it's really gross and possibly have floating items in the syrup. It's only when a costumer complains that it tastes funny they will clean the bottle. I hope that the staff has changed their ways and improved on the quality of the food.

Service at this location is quite slow. Our order has been incorrect multiple times. The fries are rarely fresh. We have been quite disappointed with our experiences at this Sonic and we have given them numerous tries. Unlikely to return even though it is a convenient location for us. 😔

We come to this location because it's the closest to us. But lately I'm considering going to the location that's a little farther. The last couple times I've come here, before we even order food, we are told there will be a wait of 15-20 minutes. I've never had this issue before here or any other location. Other customers around us push the button and hear that wait time and they pull right back out and go some place else. Are they understaffed? Probably. Is this acceptable? 100% no. Something needs to change whether it be management or hiring more people.

I have written several reviews of this sonic over the years and none of them have been good. Refused to make tea even though they don't choose for 30 minutes and we were ordering 5 route 44 drinks. Within in ten miles of each other you have the #1 in the nation rated sonic in Krum and the worst in Justin. This is not the first review of the laziness that happens at n this location. Best bet is too keep on driving.

Need to fix the drive-up system. Many of the screens were not working, and the one we managed to access the speaker through was not functioning properly. The worker could barely hear me, and I could barely hear her.

I ordered 3 hotdogs 🌭 came out super cold plus I ask for extra mustard no it was a little. I have had this problem several times I even told them I would pay extra .I like a lot of mustard and would not have a problem paying. Just give me what I like please.

I asked for 2 hamburger patties which are $1.25 each. I have ordered this many times because my daughter has celiac. The lady tried to charge me $7.78 for 2 burgers and I politely asked her to only charge me for the patties since that's all I wanted. She started to as I saw side patty appear on the screen. Then she took it off and said her manager told her she had to charge me for regular burgers @ $7.78. I told her I wasn't paying that amount for 2 thin patties of meat. The lady laughed. I left and went to Roanoke near my house and had no issues with my order. I left a nice tip. I'll never return to this Sonic again. I also made complaint to corporate. UPDATE: The GM contacted me and handled the situation well.

Time and time again, I give this place a chance and everytime I’m disappointed. Customer service is normal, but the speed of service is absurd. I would expect this wait at a whataburger but at a sonic, and wait just to get old fries, melted down shakes, or a burger that’s flat out wrong? I don’t know what happens whether it was change in management but wow this place really tanked. Shouldn’t have to wait 15+ minutes for this...thank you and NEXT.

I ordered 2 things. A route 44 diet dr. Pepper with no ice and a cherry limeade. They couldn't even get that right. I don't know why I keep going back. They NEVER get my order completely right. DON'T COME HERE IF YOU WANT A CORRECT ORDER. I am EXCEEDINGLY unhappy! They don't even answer their phone when you call.

Absolutely the worst Sonic. Order took 25min to be delivered, I was upgraded to medium drinks on 2 kids meals without requesting it, and when my order was finally brought to me I was missing one of the kids meals. Will not go here again, I'd rather drive the extra 10 min to Northlake.

The M&M blast was ok-ish except for the fact that when I finished it I had an odd taste in the back of my mouth. It tasted gross, like when you have a pill in your mouth then when you swallow it and it kinda gets stuck and starts dissolving🤢🤢. That's what it tasted like. I also ordered two Strawberry cheesecake Master shakes and there was no cheesecake in the shake at all. Hell they couldn't even be bothered to wipe off the cups before giving it it us. My mom who had one of the strawberry cheesecake Master shakes threw up. After eating the m&m shake I now feel nauseated 🤢🤢 and I have a headache.

For the love of goodness... If you are going to offer 99 cent drinks charge it correctly! They always charge full price when it should be discounted. On top of that most of the time the order is wrong and the Carhop Sarah is rude as all get out.

Pulled in for a bag of Ice, paid and waited for over 20 min and it still never came. Meanwhile the ordered delivered was removed. I don’t know why I keep coming back here expecting things to change. This is the slowest sonic I have ever been too. Do yourself a favor and go across the parking lot to chicken express.

I don’t know how this place has more than 1 star. Every time I order anything, I mean anything it is wrong or subpar. I refuse to spend any money here any more. I don’t care if it is the only fast food place in Justin, there is no reason to give them any business. If I could give them a negative score I would.

First time going to this location, it's the one I live closest to. They refused to make me a breakfast burrito 55 minutes before closing because they had already cleaned the grill. I'd rather drive a little further so I can actually order food next time. So unprofessional and such lazy work ethic.

I've been going to this sonic 1 to 2 times a week for almost a year for lunch, and over the last couple months I've noticed that my burgers don't have the correct amount of cheese. I've even paid for extra cheese to see if that got me the correct amount and today I didn't get any cheese at all. I don't know if I will be going to this sonic anymore

I ordered a 16 piece mozzarella sticks and was charged for the 16 pc but only got 6!!! I tried to call and complain and the phone just rings and rings. No answering machine/voicemail or anything. They even failed to give me a receipt and now I can't prove I was given the wrong amount but I sure as hell paid for it! They are ALWAYS screwing up my order. I'll never go back there! I'd rather drive 20 minutes out of my way then go here again. 😡

asked for a SIDE of jalapeños for chilli cheese tots... tried to charge $25... said no, sliced jalapeños that go on a burger... then they gave us 5 sides of jalapeños at .70 a piece. Ridiculous you have to just accept this just to get your food and leave.

They were off of their game today. I order the breakfast burrito with egg cheese and tots only. They usually fill it up with egg and cheese and it's nice and hot. Today, the burrito had a thin layer of egg, the tiniest amount of cheese and the four tater tots that were in it, were cold hard and extra greasy. I was so bummed out after I ate it. I ended up just eating the egg out of it. I didn't want to waste the calories on plain tortilla. I guess my purpose in this review is to say, make sure you check it before you leave and communicate with them so that you don't get disappointed or waste calories LOL!

Typically, Sonic has been really good. However, I went and ordered a strawberry cheesecake milkshake and a vanilla milkshake with my boyfriend at around 9pm. When he took a sip, he realized that the milk was in fact spoiled. I will no longer be returning to Sonic. I understand they are short staffed, but putting spoiled milk in a shake is disgusting. My boyfriend could've gotten extremely sick.

I have lived in Justin for four years now. This location has been going down hill for the past three. Getting orders wrong having to repeat yourself multiple times and overcharging for food and drinks. This location needs some help. I will not be going back anytime soon. Last night was the last straw took 30 minutes to get my order and it was wrong!!!

Waited 45 min for my online order. Was told that I had ordered from a different store. Showed them the order and location. When order finally arrived it was missing my drinks and some of the food. Asked for a refund and was told they couldn't do that. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS LOCATION. I will be contacting corporate offices as this isn't the first issue I have had with this store

Pulled in Saturday 7/22 at 11 pm. Hour before close, only car on the lot. Pressed the red button and waited 10 mins. Nothing. Watched 3 teens inside chatting it up. Pressed the button again. Ordered a shake and large fries. Kid tells me the kitchen is closed even though they don’t close for another hour. Never coming back. Just gonna make the drive to Whataburger

Need to teach your worker’s that they need to finish an order before taking care of other customers. I ordered two pretzels with the cheese, kid was polite, he brings me one cheese. Then when he goes to get the other he brings me frosting (honest mistake) but then goes and gets someone else’s order and goes back and stands there and then has someone else bring it to me. I ordered also a few ice creams and only resided one spoon and no napkins???? Do we have to pay for napkins now????

Honestly if I could do zero stars I would, went here once already and they completely blew me off and I never got to order this last time today they took 10 mins then got on the com and I asked for two seconds and got yelled at and then she cut it off and I had to push the button again, the dude answered the next time and was kind! let’s hope the food is decent

This location has burned me twice. They love to throw their fries and tater tots that have been sitting for a while back into the fryer. Do yourself a favor and drive 5 mins down the road to whataburger on 114.

My wife ordered eight drinks on the app. I arrived 10 minutes later and told them I was picking up her order. I even said "it should just be eight drinks" when I showed up. I then proceeded to wait 25 minutes, after which time a man brought out somebody else's order to me, it wasn't even close. I told him it was the wrong order. About another 10 minutes went by, and he brought out the correct drinks. However, he didn't even say a word and proceeded to rudely toss the drinks at me, walked away without a peep, even though I politely thanked him. Good grief, 45 minutes from order to receiving 8 drinks, and rude wait staff to top it off.

I’m a youth pastor in the area and I have used this Sonic for dinner for our services multiple times and every time it’s a 15-30 minute wait for the food every time. They give us a good deal, and that’s why I’ve come back multiple times. Hoetge wait it unreasonable. I realize that I order a lot of food, so I call a day ahead and still have to wait every time. It’s ridiculous, and needs fixing ASAP.

Not sure if it's "lack of help" or what; but this Sonic has gotten very SLOW and inaccurate with orders, not giving everything that is supposed to already come with your order, sometimes no napkins, straws, etc. The last two times I've visited, I've ordered they the app and my order is usually just a Cherry Limeade and soft pretzel twist.... not only does it take FOREVER to get this small order, the cheese sauce isn't in the bag. Very disappointed!!

The worst meal I have ever had at any fast food restaurant! Had the chicken strip dinner wasn’t real chicken (it used to be) no napkins and our drink order was wrong too. We asked for ketchup and bbq sauce had to call again to get that. We even tipped the waiter and shouldn’t have done that. He was not happy to be working! Very disappointed.

Service is as slow as molasses. I even ordered 20 minutes in advances and took about another 30 minutes to get my food. What is the point to order ahead if it won't ever be ready on time and you pay in advanced.

Didn't even get to order, the attendee couldn't hear us because she had earbuds in. Came out and could barley talk to us when we asked questions. Her hands were very obviously unwashed and stained red.(no gloves) Horrible experience left immediately

On average, it usually takes them about 10-15 minutes to bring out my food. That's not what I'd call sonic fast. It once took 20 minutes for a cup of coffee that came out cold and wasn't even made the way I asked. Aside from this, the food is never that high of quality either. Sometimes stale tasting or cold, or thrown together looking sloppy and unappetizing. You'd think that in 15 minutes someone could make the cold burger at least look presentable. There's not really a sense of customer service from management or team leaders, either. They act like they hate their job and have an attitude. I don't recommend if you have some place to be or you're expecting a lot.

***update 9/29**** Decided to give them another try. Now they don't have the ability to make shakes anymore. How is it that every other sonic I have been to can. Time for a very careful review by someone of this location. Easily the worst sonic ever. Unfriendly employees. Today I went and the parking lot was half full and was told it would be a fifteen minute wait minimum to even get one drink. Ridiculous. Time for change.

Perpetually understaffed and slow, food is typically fine (for Sonic). Staff that *is* present tends to be so rushed they get orders wrong, misunderstand you, or struggle to listen. Friendly and apologetic...but this Sonic is struggling and has been for months now. Move on if you're looking for 'fast' food.

I don't understand how I can give an exact order of only x,y,z on my burger and it's not followed. Also don't bother with the sonic blasts because they don't bother actually putting any of the candy in them. One Reece's? For $4. Not worth it. Ridiculous.

Why does your location rarely work right with the app?. Normally i move to a different restaurant when the app doesnt work. Today was my kids birthday and she wanted a drink and a burrito. Ended up having to get her a donut because the time saving app was once again not working and we didn't have time to physically order and wait there for it to be made.

I've given this place more chances than they ever deserved. I don't understand how every single visit, they manage to mess up my order. How difficult is it to make a chocolate chip cookie dough Sonic blast with brownie bites? Apparently one of their most complicated things that they've ever made because they continuously never get it right. I stopped ordering food here a long time ago because they never got it right and they never will. Whenever you ask for a manager, they seem to be bothered that you're asking for a manager. I came in last night and everybody was standing around while I had two different people come to my car 5 times and still managed to get my order wrong. It sucks that this is the closest location but I will definitely be driving further or will not go to Sonic at all because of the experience that I continuously have here. I complete the surveys but apparently they don't care about those either because nothing has changed. This whole establishment needs to be retrained or shut down.

This place has gone downhill!! WOW! I have been coming to this sonic for years as I live right down the street from them. I am honestly shocked at how awful this place is now, I came in tonight 10/02/22 as I had a free medium drink token I was finally going to use (mind you I had this token due to having issues with them before) I pull in and hit the button to order it took the guy forever to basically understand that I was saying I had a FREE DRINK TOKEN, he set on the intercom for several minutes saying absolutely nothing, he eventually understands and now I'm patiently waiting on my medium drink (only thing I ordered) and wait, wait, wait some more and as I'm waiting I see the carhop bring out the order to the ONE car next to me (only other person there aside from me, who pulled in AFTER me) I hit the button again and they proceed to try and take my order once again, I tell her I've already ordered and it was a medium vanilla Dr pepper and that's it and I have set waiting for over 15 minutes, she was very rude as well as the girl who finally ended up bringing me my drink, I went to hand her the token and she basically acted as if she did not want to take it and dropped it on the ground. I was explaining to her how I had been waiting for over 15 minutes just for ONE drink and she snapped at me "yeah, I'm sorry!" And just repeated herself again as I continued explaining the situation to her, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! This sonic most definitely needs new and professional employees! OH and to top it off the drink is flat, never again! Update 10/20/24: like many, I’ve given this place chance after chance. This sonic is still awful, it’s a shame that they can’t do their jobs properly. Management must be terrible.. I’m sick of spending my money here for food/drink items that I am not getting, i typically order online and pick up. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve added “extras” to my orders and didn’t get them or the order wasn’t right. Just today I purchased the new garlic butter cheeseburger, NO onions. I get the order and it has onions on it and is so grossly FULL of garlic I can’t even taste the burger!! And the bread is soggy, this is disgusting! I didn’t even eat it, it went in the trash. This is it for me, I’m so fed up with this place. I’m done spending my money at an establishment that clearly doesn’t care about their customers at all. The entire point of leaving reviews is to seek a resolution as well as informing the appropriate parties of the issues. But with this place you get no response except some automation and nothing gets done! This place is a joke, and I won’t be back. I’ll do like everyone else and make the drive somewhere else.

Food is consistently horrible over the last year. Thought we'd give it one more try. Old burger patties must have sat out for hours. How else are they rotten smelling and cold? My son didn't even eat his whole burger and we had to pull over on the side of the road so he could throw up. How can sonic mess up this bad? They must be trying to.

After ordering, a car pulls up next to me, they wait 5 minutes and order, shortly after a girl comes out with their food and proceeds to speak to them for 5+ minutes (obviously friends) mean while I’m still waiting for my food, I continue waiting until the half hour mark passes so I press the button again, instead of being met with kindness I get a very snarky “it will be out soon” when the food arrives it’s only half of my order. I Ask where my drink was and she quickly ran back inside and got my drink, this could have all been forgiven if it was not for my burger being completely in correct, I ordered a double cheese burger with bacon and ketchup only I received a single with cheese only.

It took forever to take my order in fact I had to push the button twice before being acknowledged. It said Isiah was on his way with my order and that statement went into Never neverland and still no order. It was just a shake and took the longest time to get my order. In fact I was about to leave but I had already paid so I decided to wait.

Very strongly encourage not to order in person or through delivery. Multiple times we’ve had to leave because no one served us or we waited more than 40 min for food. When you order delivery from this location they give you the old food and a smaller portion size. DO NOT use this location. This is a pattern over time.

I ordered their Tuesday 2 for 1 burger deal and was charged full price. No effort was made to correct the price and no explanation was given on why they did not honor the price on their own sign. I have a choice and I choose to never do business with this franchise again.

I had to give 1 star to write the review. The last 3 times i have been to sonic we had to wait a hour for just 3 drinks. They clear the board saying it's on its way then don't bring anything out till you push the button and ask why it's taking so long. I stopped ordering food there a long time ago cuz the fries and tots are always cold and the burgers are always made wrong but to take an hour for drinks is ridiculous. My daughter tried ordering food yesterday and it took an hour to give her cold food. So nothing has changed. It's always under staffed with only 3people running the place. They need to shut this store down. Burger king or Lon John silver's would be much better in its place.

Update 2/1/26 - they still suck 9 years ago - They always get my kids burger order wrong, they over cook the patties, and they're rude if you say anything about the order. The second another fast food burger place opens near Justin this place will get a wake up call.

Haven’t been able to get an order right in the last 7 days. Went here on Friday and ordered a hand mixed master shake with Oreo chocolate. Was given a vanilla milkshake. Didn’t realize until I got home. Came back tonight to order two shakes: a strawberry milkshake and a chocolate milkshake with strawberry fruit added. Again, got home and realized the chocolate milkshake has vanilla in the bottom(????) and the strawberry milkshake has extra strawberry fruit in it. Both days it was an extra charge for wrong order. Won’t be coming back to this location.

Went this morning, ordered a super sonic burrito combo and, and also a breakfast burrito with sausage cheese and tater tots only, no egg. I get home and have two burritos with sausage and a little cheese, only enough to see yellow, and paid $15.00. This is after repeating the order 9x. I wish Justin would build a McDonalds or another fast food restaurant.

If I could give a lower review, I would the amount of times I've come to this location and my order is either forgotten skipped over or blatantly. Wrong is absurd. I've been going to this location for a year now since I moved here and I'm completely done with this brand because of my experience here. And the lack of care that the employees have shown when presented with feedback that should be taken seriously. Had a mobile order got to pick it up at 1:15 checked in brought out my burgers no drinks waited till 1:56 still no drinks hit the button asked about my drinks they brought it out along with my ice cold fries my melted slushes were very disappointing honestly if you want to go somewhere pick a different place to eat this place is trash and make you wait forever for cold barely edible food and then give an attitude and say it's your fault when they just I guess forgot to bring it out and mind you I ordered while parked in the store so it wasn't like I ordered and showed up 30 minutes later

Today was second time we went to this Sonic and never had anyone take our order over speaker after waiting for a long time. We pushed button and did recieve a message saying red button activated. I can understand if the drive thru was busy but two rows didn't have any cars and the other 2 were half full.

Horrible experience. Ordered 4 drinks 2 out of the 4 were wrong one of the drinks online is pink and I was brought a blue drink I asked if it was the right one and showed him the picture on my phone through the sonic app and he wasn’t sure so I asked for them to remake it.I waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks called them back and asked for my order then she comes out to talk to me and then within a minute brought me my drinks. It wasn’t busy 4 cars in the drive ups and some in the drive thru but they are only bringing out orders to the drive through and taking way too long to bring out the orders of the other cars waiting. Will not be returning.

So I just ordered online picked up my drink order. Took a drink of my Coke and it was awful, and flat. Pulled up and hit the button and told them about it and his response "Oh yeah we are out of Coke" so you mean to tell me since it was an online order you give me crap?!?!? This place is horrible. We’ve given it several chances since we’re limited in Justin!!! I don’t get it. There are way too many 1 stars for this to continue. This was the last and final opportunity to get it right. We’re done!! Frozen burgers patties taste better anyway. I notice the response to unhappy customers is automated. It shows how much this sonic (not capitalized purposely) really cares.!!! They don’t deserve to hold the Sonic name that used to be a great place to go. I’m speaking of the Sonics of the past and not this one ever. Pay $4.00 for a drink without ice and expect to get 1/4th less.!! Wow, it would cost less then .05 for a little more sprite or 7-up They don’t mind overfilling your drink with tons of ice when you just order a regular drink.

Uhmm... I've been eating the chili cheese tator tots forever and I'm not sure why the gave me the child's portion for the price of the adult portion. Definitely won't be back to this location again.
